Oasis kicked off their UK tour in Liverpool on Tuesday, and were introduced onstage by boxer and friend Ricky Hatton.

The gig was Oasis' first since the guitarist was pushed over by a stage invader at the Canadian V Festival, injuring his ribs.

The show saw Noel defying doctor's orders, having been ordered to rest for a least another four weeks following the incident on September 7.

Introducing the band, Hatton referenced the incident, telling the crowd: "They're the best band in the world, and I'm proud to say, friends. If anyone tries to push them over onstage tonight they're gonna have me to deal with!"

Oasis – who were supported by local three-piece The Sixteen Tonnes, handpicked by Noel – then got their tour back on track in some style at the 10,000-capacity Echo Arena, taking the stage to the familiar strains of 'Standing On The Shoulder Of Giants' album opener 'Fuckin In The Bushes'.

The sold-out tour continued with another show in Liverpool last night.

Maria hätte sich auf jeden Fall gefreut ob dieser Entdeckung. Da hätte sie noch eine Alternativ-Ausrede gehabt, falls die Engel-Gott-Story nicht geklappt hätte.

Ich kann mir aber tatsächlich rein theoretisch denken dass es beim Menschen möglich sein müsste. Ich hab ja nicht Biologie studiert aber wir haben ja auch schwangerschaftserhaltende Hormone (Gestagene) die dasselbe machen.

Ich glaube das hier ist so ein Eintrag - wenn ich in 10 Jahren immer noch blogge werde ich mir den Artikel nochmal durchlesen und sagen: Ja, das war damals der Punkt wo x oder y begann. Ich denke das ist ein sehr große Schritt, auch für die Genforschung - nicht nur für die Krebsforschung, der es dienen soll.

Außerdem gibt es einen Frosch der seine Farbe ändern kann. Hier der Artikel. Was mich daran stört ist nur der Vergleich mit einem Chamäleon - hier steht das Chamäleons ihre Farbe nicht der Umgebung anpassen. Und ich habe das aus einem sehr vertrauenswürdigen Buch.

Ich meine, ich lag ja im Krankenhaus und habe in den letzten Monaten sowieso nicht das politische Tagesgeschehen mitbekommen - aus mangelndem Interesse. Aber das is ja jetzt n Ding.

Also Andere schockt das jetzt sicherlich nicht so. Aber ich fidne diese Figur so...."hintergründig". Also nicht im Sinne von geheimnisvoll sondern im Sinne von im-Hintergrund-stehend.

Bei Angela Merkel oder Gerhard Schröder dachte man immer: "Ach die!" oder "Der? Alles klar!" Man hat Sprechgewohnheiten, Marotten und bestimmte Frisurmerkmale (Färben im Falle Schröder und die Frage ob überhaupt ein Friseur am Werk ist im Falle Merkel) im Kopf gehabt. Auch Sympathie und Antipathie.
Aber Kurt Beck ist ja nun wirklich nichtssagend. Und war auch lange nicht so im Vordergrund. Also das ist nur ein persönlicher Eindruck. Aber mir erscheint es wie als wäre er seit gestern auf der politischen Bühne......
Vielleicht ist es auch mein Alter dass ich jetzt langsam bemerke wenn jemand die politische Bühne betritt. Kohl, Fischer, Schröder, Trittin (die Flasche) und Merkel (um nur einige Beispiele zu nennen) waren ja schon im Vordergrund da war ich teilweise noch in meiner Mutti.

Ich will bitte keine Kommentare hören von wegen: Was? Kurt Beck gibts schon lange in der SPD! Und überhaupt is der schon lange im Vordergrund! Weiß ich alles. Aber dieses nichtssagende Gesicht - an das kann ich mich nicht gewöhnen. Wobei wenige das Charisma von Schröder haben. (Leider hatte er nur das.)

Ach ja und der Ex-Freund einer Freundin war Lehrling bei Udo Waltz dem Starfriseur. Und der meinte das Angela Merkel sich schon früher (zu frisurtechnisch katastrophalen Zeiten) von Waltz frisieren ließ.
Fragt sich bloß warum er sich früher keine Mühe gegeben hat?
Lustig - man hat sich immer gefragt wer ihr die schlimme Frisur verpasst hat - und ich wusste es. Jetzt isses ja eh egal. Jetzt sieht sie ja ordentlich aus.

Wenn ich so etwas lese schreit mein Gerechtigkeitsgefühl wirklich auf. Wie kann man nur so offensichtlich mit zweierlei Maß messen.

Außerdem war Alice Schwarzer da. Das war das erste Mal dass ich sie erlebt habe. Also bis jetzt kannte ich sie nur von Bildern, vom Hören-Sagen und von ausgewählten Ztaten.
Aber gestern sah ich zum ersten Mal was sie wie auf welche Frage sagt, und wie sie sich bewegt.
Mir persönlich ist sie eher unsympathisch. Ich weiß sie hat viel für die Frauenbewegung getan, aber sie hat mich irgendwie an meine Sozialkundelehrerin aus Schultagen erinnert. Sie redet irgendwei so wirr, und widerspricht sich spätestens im nächsten Satz.
Eine sehr seltsame Frau.

Abgesehen davon waren Norbert Blüm und Peter Sodann da um ihr neues Programm vorzustellen. Letzten habe ich sogar schon einmal getroffen. Als ich im "Neuen Theater" in Halle war - da war er damals noch Intendant. Gestern hatte er Andeutungen gemacht dass er das immer noch sei. Aber eigentlich habe ich damals gehört dass er aufhören wolle....naja....
Auf jeden Fall ein lustiges Programm und vor allem ein sehr aufmerksamer Norbert Blüm bei dem man sich gar nicht mehr vorstellen konnte wie der jemals hat Politik machen können.

Na gut....kann euch egal sein, weil die Sendung eh vorbei ist. Aber ich werde mir bestimmt nen Mitschnitt holen.

Hier das Interview der FAZ mit Pofalla

Abgesehen davon dass Ronald Pofalla ein unglaublich unsympathischer Mensch ist, mit dem die CDU keinen guten Mann hat, hat der ja wohl n Ei am Kopp.

Fällt denn keinem von der CDU auf, dass das gegen gewisse Grundgesetze verstößt.
Mal ehrlich, ich sehe da das grundlegende Recht auf die Gleichheit aller irgendwie untergraben. Wenn sich eine Schule klar zur Kirche bekennt, wie sollen sich da denn die nicht-gläubigen Schüler fühlen? Abgesehen davon ist es gesetzlich verboten altarähnliche Gebilde im Klassenraum anzubringen. Nicht mal Bilder von berühmten Persönlichkeiten die eine gewisse Verehrung erkennen lassen. (Mein Oberstufen-Tutor hatte ein Bild von Kafka mit einer daran gelehnten Rose - das war schon zu viel. Er bekam Ärger.)

Noch schlimmer ist es allerdings in Gerichten. Wie geht ein Gericht dass sich klar zum Christentum bekennt, mit Andersgläubigen oder Nicht-Gläubigen um? Das ist doch gar nicht zu vereinbaren mit der Neutralität die ein Gericht zwingen haben muss. Sich theologisch, und damit in diesem Falle auch politisch zu bekennen ist doch gar nicht erlaubt.

Ich sehe darin eine Riesen-Gehahr. Schon das Kopftuch-Verbot widerspricht der Gleichstellung (egal welche Religion, Hautfarbe, Geschlecht - mal ehrlich.....wer trägt denn die Kopftücher - klar haben es wieder nur die Frauen abgekriegt, und dass damit eine Religion diffamiert wird brauche ich wohl nicht weiter beweisen.)

Die CDU bekennt sich zum Grundgesetz (sondern wären sie ja verboten) - aber dann umgehen sie dessen wichtigste Grundpfeiler.....
In letzter Konsequenz gehört die CDU......*unhörbar flüster* verboten.

Sieht das nicht furchtbar aus. Ich habe mich die ganze Zeit gefragt wieso sich als er ein Kind war niemand Sorgen gemacht hat, über den "riesigen" Kopf.
Echt schlimm....

Einige Gesprächsfetzen habe ich gegoogelt um mal wieder etwas auf dem neuesten Stand zu sein. Unter anderem eben die Tatsache dass Russland in die Kolonialzeit zurückgeht.

Ich hatte echt keinen Schimmer. Auch der Post der diesem hier vorraussgeht, über den neuen Börsenrash - ich wusste es nicht.
Ich hatte wirklich noch nie davon gehört.
Ui, also das hat mir so zu denken gegeben. Ich muss mich echt mehr informieren. Und sei es dass ich nur die großen Schlagzeilen der Online-Zeitungen lese....
Ich lauf ja wirklich blind durch die Welt, wies scheint.

Was ich aber noch zu meinem Link in diesem Post schreiben möchte: Also das ist jetzt nur eine Herz-Theorie aber....

wenn sich herausstellen würde dass der Nordpol tektonisch gesehen zu Europa gehört dann wäre Kanada aus dem Rennen um die Besitzansprüche ausgeschieden. Und Dänemark ist ja kein Gegner für RUssland. Wenn es einen Konkurrenzkampf geben sollte zwischen Dänemark und Russland dann wird Dänemark natürlich verlieren. Mal ernsthaft Russland kann die Dänen doch locker wegpusten. Selbst wenn sie die größeren Ansprüche haben sollten, oder besser gesagt die die mehr gerechtfertigt sind.....sowas hat in der Politik noch niemanden davon abgehalten sich etwas zu nehmen.
Wenn die Macht stimmt, stimmt dahingehend auch der Rest.
Also ist nur so eine Theorie. So würde ich das verstehen.

Und das Schlimme ist ja - kaum einer merkt es. Kaum einer weiß dass wir letzte Woche bereits kurz vor einem Börsencrash standen. Der Steuerzahler ist mit 8 Milliarden € eingesprungen, aber abgewendet ist das Problem noch lange nicht.

Es war ja auch absolut klar von welchem Land das Übel ausgeht.....
Sollte man sich echt mal mit beschäftigen......

Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band are set to perform during Super Bowl XLIII’s halftime show on February 1st, 2009, in Tampa, Florida. Springsteen will be the fifth veteran act in a row at the Super Bowl. Since Janet Jackson and Justin Justin Timberlake’s disastrous 2004 performance, the NFL has booked Paul McCartney,the Rolling Stones, Prince and Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers. The show has become the highest-profile gig in music — Petty and Prince both saw big sales bumps for their back catalogs after their hit-filled performances.

Also so ganz normal ist das nicht mehr. Vielleicht liegt das daran dass ich Atheistin bin, aber ist es echt so wichtig dass die Gebete wirklich vom Papst ausgesprochen werden - und nicht von einem selbst.

Apple has won its dispute with the National Music Publishers Association over an application to raise royalty fees for songs purchased from online music stores such as iTunes.

A legally numbed Gallagher is nursing three broken ribs after a Canadian man pushed the Oasis guitarist off stage during a gig in Toronto last month.

The downside: all Oasis gigs since have been cancelled while Gallagher recovers. The upshot: camera phone footage from multiple fans have clocked up millions of You Tube hits.

“It’s quite exciting being a genuine You Tube superstar,” Gallagher says, he’s dosed up on “pretty heavy painkillers.”  “I’m a bit brain dead,” Gallagher notes of his prescription high. “Sometimes I drift off and I don’t know what I’m talking about.”

While he hasn’t watched the incident on You Tube, he’s heard that depending on what angle the footage you watch was taken you can clearly see brother Liam Gallagher initially running away from the stage invader, then trying to punch him once he’s being led away.

“He got all brave once the security guards turned up,”  Noel, Liam’s older brother notes. “That’s what he does.”  Gallagher insists he has only vague memories of his You Tube moment.  “I remember being hit really hard. I didn’t see him come on stage or get led off, I just got hit. I had an almighty pain in my side. I was being silly, it got to the point where I went ‘Fuck it, I can’t do this’ and got taken straight to hospital.”

However, don’t expect to see Oasis surrounded by men-mountains next time you see them live.

“We’re not going to become one of these American bands with more security guards than musicians on stage, we don’t go in for that Madonna shit. We’ve got enough security guards as it is. If they’d been doing their fucking job properly instead of playing air guitar I’d be alright.”

On "Dig Out Your Soul" Noel gets his time to shine on Waiting for the Rapture, one of his vocal moments on the album.

“The reason Liam doesn’t sing the songs I sing is that he can’t sing the falsetto bits,” Noel says. “He doesn’t have the will or the capacity to get up to those notes. I like my singing. I used to sing out of necessity a few years ago because Liam wouldn’t or couldn’t. But now when I write batches of songs I think ‘Ah, I’d like to sing that’. My voice has developed at a very late stage, which is good because it means I haven’t spent 20 years fucking it up.”

Liam has gone on record saying he “can’t stand” Wonderwall, still the band’s biggest hit. “Every time I sing it I want to gag,” Liam told Q Magazine.

“See, this is one of the reasons I really fucking dislike him, he’s full of fucking shit,’ Noel says. “He tells the journalists of the world ‘I hate singing Wonderwall’. Yet we were rehearsing and I was saying ‘I can’t be ars-ed, I’m gonna drop it (Wonderwall) from the set’. He’s the one saying ‘No no, we’ve got to play it, we’ve got to play it’.

“I read these interviews with him and I don’t know who the guy is who’s in these interviews, he seems really cool, because the guy I’ve been in a band with for the last 18 years is a fucking knobhead.  I don’t know where this schizophrenia comes from. Then he wonders why I’ve fucking got no time for him.”

A ruling is expected by the board today on an application by the National Music Publishers' Association to raise the royalty fees paid to its members on songs purchased from online music stores including iTunes.

The association wants to increase rates by 66 per cent, from nine cents to 15 cents per track, whereas Apple wants a decrease to 4.8 cents per track, reports CNN.

In a statement submitted to the board last year, iTunes vice president Eddy Cue said that Apple would not stand for an increase:

"If the [iTunes store] was forced to absorb any increase in the... royalty rate, the result would be to significantly increase the likelihood of the store operating at a financial loss - which is no alternative at all," the statement read.

Cue added that Apple would have no qualms about shutting iTunes down if it was not making enough money.

"Apple has repeatedly made it clear that it is in this business to make money," he said, "and most likely would not continue to operate [the iTunes store] if it were no longer possible to do so profitably."

Research analysts predict that Apple will have an 85 per cent share of the digital music market this year.

The 220,000 copies of the album sold give the band the second biggest first-week sales of the year, behind Coldplay's 'Viva La Vida Or Death And All His Friends'.

Kings Of Leon also see their previous album, 'Because Of The Times', stay at Number 12 and can celebrate a new entry in the singles chart via downloads of album track 'Use Somebody', which goes in at Number 29.

The latter dismissed the above rumor as untrue, stating that he has "always reacted negatively to those who with their snotty noses and erotic fantasies prowl into others' lives... There's a lot of talk in the press about beautiful young women. I don't think it will surprise you if I said that I like them all."

Needless to say, our society as a whole has never been short of overly curious minds and nosey characters, not only when it concerned the saucy show business but also the world leaders and their private lives. But when google is bombarded with far more search queries about Georgian leader Saakashvili's video "chewing on the tie" during a BBC interview break than the actual situation in the war-torn country, one wonders if this is at all normal?

Or perhaps it is, and I'm just being too picky and overly sensitive about our collective needs and the little pleasures derived from the juicy details of other people's - particularly the newsworthy (and not so much) public figures' - personal lives.

Komisch als ich den Artikel gelesen hab, war ich irgendwie gleich in Erwartungshaltung gleich durchgekitzelt zu werden.
