1. Yeni bir dil öğreniliyorsa, Messenger'a o dilde bir kişisel ileti yazma olayı. O cümlenin Türkçe karşılığı olsa hayatta yazılmaz mesela, ama atıyorum ben İspanyolca öğreniyor olayım, hemen oraya "Hola" yazmam lazım gibi hissetcem nerdeyse.
2. O gün arkadaşlarla buluşulmuş, mekanlara gidilmiş/akılmış/kopulmuş ise gün içinde çekilen resimleri hemen "face"e, Messenger'a koyma olayı. Ama anında yapılması lazım bunun, daha resim sıcak yani o derece. Hatta bunlar böle slideshow olur bide peş peşe geçer hangisi beğenilecek diye.. Ne bilm bunu da pek anlamamışımdır.
3. Şunu üzerine basa basa söylemek istiyorum: Messenger Plus kullanıyorsanız, nickiniz Plus kullanmayanlarda renkli, cicili bicili falan görünmüyor.
4. Çevrimdışı görünüyorken, birisine yazılacaksa, garip bir vicdan muhasebesinin ardından önce online olup sonra yazıyorsanız, şunu bilin ki genellikle yazdığınız şey oturum açma iletisinden önce gidiyor. Kendinizi de karşınızdakini de kandırmayınız, ayıptır, etik değildir, kötüdür, cıstır.
5. "Titretme" gariplikleri: Bunun kadar abuk sabuk her yerde kullanılan bişey göremedim henüz. Bir kesim var hele, önce bi titretiyor, sonra "selam" yazıyo. Hep hep böyle, adamın tarzı o yani, titretmeden selam vermiyor asla. Bunun bi ileri safhası da durup dururken titretip hiçbişe yazmayan insanlar.. Uyuz oluyorum, bende kapalı ayarlı valla titreşim.
6. "Ee anlat" olayı..  Ne anlatayım ya ne ? Selam veren sensin gelmiş bana "Ee anlat" diyorsun.. Arkadaşım ben bir şey anlatacak olsam selam verir yazardım zaten; sen selam veriyorsun, sonra ben anlatmakla mükellef oluyorum ? Ne bu be ?
7. Şuursuzca Kaydedilen Özel İfadeler: Bunun da hastasıyım var ya, birisi bir şey yazıyor, bir 10 saniye bekliyorsun ifadeler yüklensin diye, sonra resimlere bakarak bir hiyeroglif okuyan bir arkeolog edasıyla ne yazdığını çözmeye çalışıyosun.. Hayat güzel be..
8. "Son harfi basılı tutarsam daha çok dikkat çeker" Hayır çekmez. Örnek: "Naberrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr" Çok tekrarlarsa engellerim o derece kılım..
9. Nickler. Bu artık bi fenomen, garip bir olay, The Happening.. İnsanlar listesinde senin adını ne olarak görsün amaçlı, bir satırlık, 8-10 karakter genişliğinde bir kutu var, yani ben buraya ya adımı yazarım, ya da nick yazarım, mantıklı olan da budur diye düşünürüm.. Adam kalkıyor oraya o gün neler yaptığını yazıyor, sığmıyor, geçiyor kişisel ileti satırından devam ediyor.. Garip karakterler falan var herhangi bir anlamı olmayan, sonra şarkı sözü var, hatta bunları bi büyük bi küçük yazmayınca  ayıp oluyo galiba.. Hadi buyur şimdi kendi messenger'ımdan seçtiklerim:

Böyle işte bu işler.. Şimdi kabul, ben biraz takıntılı detaycı hafif manyak bi adam olduğumu biliyorum, ama bu kadar şeyin hepsine aynı anda takıyor da olamam ya, eminim biyerlerde benim gibi bu yukardakilere uyuz olan birileri var :)

Questa patch riguarda la rimozione dell'intervallo di tempo fra un trillo e l'altro, quindi permette di trillare senza limiti o intervalli. Voi direte: "E beh? Niente di nuovo." . Infatti. Solo che non si tratta della solita pappa pronta (A-Patch o altre cose del genere), bensì vi mostrerò, per i più curiosi, il procedimento con cui si rimuove l'intervallo manualmente, attraverso il Reversing.

Sì, il reversing, mi sto avvicinando pian piano a questo argomento e devo dire che mi affascina molto. Per chi non lo sapesse, è quella che molti chiamano "arte" che consiste nello "smontare" un file (es. un .exe) e studiarne le funzioni, cercare di carpirne le informazioni per raggiungere un determinato scopo, come oltrepassare le protezioni che ci sono in alcuni programmi (limitazioni di 30 giorni e via discorrendo). Ovviamente come in ogni cosa c'è chi ne fa un cattivo uso e chi no. C'è chi reversa per crackare e chi reversa per imparare esclusivamente a scopo di studio e perchè no, per soddisfazione personale.

E così dopo essermi informato un pò ho deciso di mettere in pratica, o almeno provarci, quello che avevo imparato. Quindi, dopo questa intro (un pò noiosa lo so :D ) possiamo addentrarci nel vivo della patch.

Apriamo l'eseguibile (msnmsgr.exe) con OllyDbg e, dopo aver analizzato il file, Olly ci porterà direttamente all'Entry Point:

Ok, ora la cosa più logica da fare è cercare un timer che regoli l'intervallo fra i trilli. Quest'intervallo è settato a 11000 ms. (11 secondi) e sapendo questo possiamo subito escludere gli altri timer. Ma dato che non sappiamo dove si trova fra tante righe di listato, premiamo ALT+F1 e digitiamo: bpx SetTimer

Con questo comando piazziamo un breakpoint su tutte le chiamate a SetTimer. Ora premendo F9 debuggiamo il programma e, dopo aver effettuato il login a Msn, andiamo su una finestra di conversazione e premiamo sul tasto del trillo. Ecco che subito Olly brekka (è la riga in rosso):

Siamo alla parte cruciale della patch. Se scendiamo 2 righe più sotto del breakpoint da noi settato troviamo un interessante salto condizionato (JE SHORT msnmsgr.004DCA9D). Il salto così com'è punta all'offset 004DCA9D, facendo così verificare la comparsa della scritta sulla conversazione: "Non è possibile inviare trilli a un contatto troppo spesso.". Ok, e se noi cambiassimo quel JE con un JNZ? Proviamo. Selezioniamo la riga, premiamo spazio e cambiamo il JE in JNZ. Avremo questo:

Proseguiamo col debug (F9) e vediamo che l'intervallo è stato rimosso con successo!

Ora non ci resta che salvare l'eseguibile patchato. Quindi clicchiamo col destro su una riga di listato e selezioniamo Copy>All modifications. Nella finestra che ci si apre clicchiamo ancora col destro e poi su Save. Scegliamo il percorso, salviamo il file, sostituiamolo a quello originale e il gioco è fatto, Msn con trilli infiniti!

I used to hate emesene, I didn't like the way it functioned, I hated the constant updating (it's still a little bit annoying, but at least the updates aren't even half as slow as a certain other OS's updates (read: Windows <All Versions> ;))) and I just generally preferred aMsn, maybe I preferred that slightly because I compiled it from source, whereas emesene was a simple "sudo apt-get install emesene" - who knows (or cares).

But I'm now using it, and I'm just in the middle of editing my .conkyrc file (any excuse to use Vim...) And I've got another couple of posts in the works which should appear in the next day or so.

O Emoticon Maker, faz os emoticons á partir de suas imagens, sejam elas animadas ou não. O Programa apresenta uma interface bonita e de fácil uso. Não requer instalação, ou seja, não afeta seu computador, não colocando em risco informações importantes, e não fragmentando o disco.
A única coisa que tem que fazer neste programa é: Abrir sua imagem por ele, selecionar o espaço que você quer como emoticon e converter. Mas como eu coloco-os no meu MSN?
Bom, aqui vai um tutorial explicando mais ou menos como instalar emoticons no MSN:

1º - Abra uma conversa com qualquer pessoa, em seguida clique na aba de emoticons (aquela na barrinha azul, sabe? Em cima de onde você digita o texto.)

2º - Clique em "Mostrar Tudo" na aba de emoticons, em seguida clique em "Criar"

3º - Escolha uma imagem convertida no local que você salvou, e depois, as teclas de atalho.

4º - Divirta-se ;)

Come Installare una skin per Msn:

Molte skin hanno un file di installazione, dove molte volte l'indirizzo della skin da installare è sbagliato perché spesso l'indirizzo scelto è in "program file" e D conseguenza la skin non si applica.
Per la versione 8.5 beta 1 e 2 l indirizzo di installazione corretto è:
C:\Programmi\Windows Live\Messenger

Per la 8.1 , 8.0 , 7.5 , 7.0 è:
C:\Programmi\Msn Messenger
Molte, le scaricate e sono formate da un file "msgres.dll" che dovrete copiare e incollare ( con msn chiuso )
a seconda della versione in percorsi diversi, ad esempio per la 8.5 lo incollate su C:\Programmi\Windows Live\Messenger
mentre sulla 8.1 e 8.0 su C:\Programmi\Msn Messenger

Fatto questo il tutto sarà correttamente applicato e basterà riavviare il pc ove occorra.

N.B.: Chiudete sempre MSN prima D installare una qualsiasi skin!

If you have CICS regions to manage or even just monitor, CICSPlex SM provides an ideal environment for getting your job done.  With CICS TS 3.2 it now has a much improved installation that is integrated directly with CICS, so it has never been easier to try it out.  Better yet, you don't have to convince anyone to "show you the money" as it is bundled right there alongside CICS.

So why use CICSPlex SM?  What makes it so great?  Well here are 6 things, that I think makes CICSPlex SM a must have!

1. Single System Image (SSI)
   CEMT is a great transaction for keeping an eye on your regions but it can become a bit of a chore to run CEMT on each, even if you only have 3 regions running.  Using SSI, CICSPlex SM pulls all of your regions together into a CICSplex that you can manage and monitor as if they were a single system.  For example, you can run CEMT-equivalent queries CICSplex-wide in one request.  Using CICSPlex SM's powerful criteria and filter mechanism you can take it a step further and make requests like discarding all programs, CICSplex-wide with a name matching "PRG*" (starting with "PRG").  SSI is not just limited to CEMT like operations, infact it provides huge amounts of power when combined with the other reasons.
2. Business Application Services (BAS)
   Slap a pair of underpants on the outside of CEDA's clothes and sew a great big S on it's chest and you have BAS.  Simply, BAS is a resource definition and deployment manager but as with all things CICSPlex SM, it does it on a much bigger scale.  Instead of using the CICS CSD, BAS uses it's own data repository, that we affectionately call the DREP (catchy eh?).  From BAS you can define any CICS definition you like and you don't need to put them into groups to install them (yes, installation CICSplex-wide in one request).  That's pretty cool in itself but BAS is all about applications.  Individual resources are all well and good but BAS lets you define and deploy entire applications faster than a speeding bullet (ok this is just a rough guess, but a quick straw pole suggests a top speed of somewhere between that of a speeding bullet and the CICSPlex SM team heading for a team breakfast - thanks Neil! :-)).  Define your resources, put them into logical groups of your choosing (multiple applications can share resource groups) and define your application to CICSPlex SM.  BAS will install both your remote and local definitions for you into the scopes you specify (again CICSplex-wide).  This literally scratches the surface of what BAS can do.
3. Workload Management (WLM)
   So now you have deployed your application, you want to make sure it absolutely flies and it's availability is assured.  CICSPlex SM WLM is just the tool that you need.  At it's simplest, just tell WLM where your routing regions and target regions are (remember to connect them) and WLM will start efficiently routing your work in an optimal manner.  If you have an affinity to a particular system (say you have GETMAIN'd some shared storage on a region and while a particular user is signed on you need to keep routing them to that region) don't sweat, with WLM you can also separate a particular part of your workload to handle this sort of affinity and others.  Using the WLM queue algorithm WLM can balance your systems by analysing the health, link, load and affinities, so you can be sure we will choose the right regions to maximise your throughput.  Using the WLM goal algorithm, WLM will do everything queue does but it can also take your z/OS WLM goals into account as well when making routing decisions.  If availability is your goal the WLM is king, even if the region managing your workload goes down, your workload can continue to function as normal until is recovered.
4. Real-Time Analysis (RTA)
   Now everything is up and running, you probably want to make sure everything stays that way.  Sometimes knowing about a problem, 5 minutes after it happens is about 10 minutes too late.  With RTA you can quickly set up monitoring points of interest and provide instant real-time notifications to either NetView, the CICSPlex SM API or even out via our Web User Interface (WUI).  Not only does RTA provide you with notifications but it can also correct the problem for you and naturally it does this CICSplex-wide.  RTA can perform modifications to resources when an event is notified, for example re-enabling a file when it was disabled by that trainee system programmer who keeps clicking on things he shouldn't (you know the one).  RTA can provide System Availability Monitoring (SAM) for keeping an eye on the health of your systems (going SOS, dumping, load is getting high), MAS Resource Monitoring (MRM) for keeping and eye on your resources and Analysis Point Monitoring (APM), which is pretty much the same as MRM but limits the number of events you will receive if you are monitoring cloned or similar systems.
5. Application Programming Interface (API)
   So all that power is great but it is nothing without some rock solid ways of accessing it.  The first of these is through the CICSPlex SM API.  If you have any experience writing EXEC CICS commands the EXEC CPSM commands that CICSPlex SM provides should feel at least syntactically familiar to you.  With the API, you can manage resources (create, delete, discard, install, perform actions, set attributes, filter and copy) and even listen for RTA events.  Again, all of this is CICSplex-wide.  You can run the API as part of a normal CICS application or even in batch or TSO.
6. Web User Interface (WUI)
   The second of the interfaces mentioned here, and pretty much the main entry point to CICSPlex SM for most users, is the Web User Interface (WUI).  I should point out that there are also another couple of really nice interfaces (BATCHREP and EYU9XDBT) but you'll have to rely on the infocenter for more information on those right now.  The WUI provides a single point of control for all of this CICSPlex SM power.  It sits on top of the CICSPlex SM API and the ever awesome CICS WEB API to provide a clean, fast and super-quick browser interface into your CICSPlex SM world.  A WUI is not limited to just a single CICSplex either.  It will happily show you information about any CICSplex you have specifically given the WUI access to.  Everything you can do in CICSPlex SM is available through the WUI and fully RACF-enabled too!

So that is a whirlwind tour of why you should consider giving CICSPlex SM a shot. I normally run somewhere between 2-10 regions at any time and I can't remember the last time I saw a CEDA or CEMT screen.

Mi va di citare tra le tante, solo 2 soluzioni che ritengo degne di nota: eMeSeNe ed aMSN (o anche Alvaro's Messenger). Ce ne sarebbe anche una terza, già presente di default nella distribuzione Ubuntu, e cioè Pidgin, che a mio parere però, può essere si idoneo per arrangiarsi (svolge benissimo le funzioni basilari, è di gran lunga il più fluido ed essenziale, anzi si parla anche di una futura implementazione audio/video), ma è da scartare per chi vuole a disposizione tutti i "gingillini" della controparte closed source. Fosse per me, mi farei bastare questo, ha tutto il necessario per comunicare decentemente. Ma qui stiamo parlando di utenti con esose esigenze.

Ecco Pidgin nel suo più spartano splendore.

Per averlo non dovete fare assolutamente niente. Lo troverete installato già all'ultima versione disponibile su Ubuntu 8.04, basta solo inserire il proprio account, la password ed un'immagine da visualizzare ed eccoci in linea pronti a comunicare con gli amici.

Se cerchiamo qualcosa di più accattivante, passiamo subito allora ad eMeSeNe. Un giovanissimo clone di grande spessore e perfettamente integrato in GNOME. Supporta l'invio e ricezione di files (niente cartelle condivise), trilli, emoticons personalizzabili, niente conversazione audio, niente webcam, niente animoticons. Da segnalare però una funzione che non c'è nemmeno in WLM: quando carichiamo un'immagine personale, abbiamo la possibilità di selezionare un'area a nostro piacimento da visualizzare come avatar (per esempio visualizzare solo il viso in una foto a mezzo busto). Per averlo basta dare da terminale:

sudo apt-get install emesene

dato che è entrato a far parte dei repository ufficiali di Ubuntu, avviarlo, connetterci e scoprire il resto delle funzionalità attivando i plugins presenti.

Ecco come si presenta la schermata principale di eMeSeNe.

Se abbiamo bisogno di qualcosa di ancor più messenger-affine, allora è il caso di passare ad installare aMSN. Di suo non ha quasi niente in più rispetto al più giovane amico eMeSeNe, ma ha il pregio di poter essere facilmente espandibile tramite aggiunta di plugins scaricabili un pò ovunque e raccolti in questa sezione del sito ufficiale. Il client di Alvaro supporta quasi tutto, compresi i nick colorati che in eMeSeNe sono stati volutamente non inclusi a causa di un utilizzo eccessivo delle risorse della CPU (dato che evidentemente è mosso da una filosofia differente, cioè rimanere quanto più leggero e funzionale possibile). Per avere la versione "pulita" possiamo installarlo direttamente da terminale:

sudo apt-get install amsn

e poi espanderlo e migliorarlo a piacimento scaricando plugins dal link di prima, o anche nuove skins reperibili ovunque sulla rete o sempre nella sezione apposita del sito ufficiale (ricordo che sia i plugins che le skins vanno messi nelle rispettive sottocartelle presenti nella cartella nascosta .amsn nella nostra home). Se invece siamo così pigri oppure così presi da non voler perdere assolutamente altro tempo ed avere subito tutto bello e pronto, possiamo usare uno script che fa tutto da solo, aggiungendo anche automaticamente diverse features. Apriamo un terminale e mettiamoci al lavoro.

Ci sarà un processo alquanto lungo, ma varrà la pena di aspettare. Al termine riavviamo il pc ed avremo tutto pronto... o quasi. Molto probabilmente al primo avvio di aMSN visualizzeremo questo errore:

Cooooosa! Dovrei compilare qualcosa adesso!!! :|

No no state tranquilli :D si tratta solo di un insignificante errore risolvibile in questo modo (sempre dal nostro carissimo terminale ;)):

sudo gedit /usr/bin/amsn

Apparirà una finestra nella quale dobbiamo modificare la prima riga, cioè questa:

exec wish8.5 $0 $@

in questa:

exec /usr/local/bin/wish8.6 $0 $@

salvare e chiudere il file. Provate ad avviare ora aMSN :D.

Finalmente pronto all'uso!

Inoltre se vogliamo abilitare anche il Drag'n'Drop (inviare un file semplicemente trascinandolo nella finestra della conversazione), scaricate questo piccolo file (tasto destro, salva con nome), cliccateci sopra col tasto destro e entrate nelle Proprietà. Passate alla scheda Permessi e spuntate la voce Consenti l'esecuzione del file come programma, click su chiudi. Ora basta cliccare due volte sul file "dnd" e su Esegui nel terminale, alla prima richiesta di password non inserite niente e schiacciate invio, alla seconda richiesta invece (se ci sarà una seconda richiesta), mettete la vosta. Riavviate aMSN e provate ad inviare comodamente trascinandolo, un file. ;)

Volete sapere chi dei vostri contatti vi ha rimosso dalla sua lista?

Bene seguite questi punti per individuare e quindi cancellar ei contatti che vi hanno completamente rimosso dalla loro lista.

• Andate in Strumenti->Opzioni
• Privacy
• Ora scegliete il contatto da verificare nella lista contatti consentiti
• Cliccate sopra il contatto che vi interessa con il tasto destro del mouse
• Se la voce "Elimina" è selezionabile cioè in neretto vuol dire che il contatto vi ha completamente rimosso dalla sua lista e quindi siete liberi di cancellarlo.
• Invece se la voce "Elimina" non è selezionabile cioè in grigio significa che il contatto non vi ha rimosso dalla sua lista contatti e quindi non c'è bisogno di cancellarlo.

Questo è un modo più che sicuro su come identificare un contatto che non vi vuole più tra i suoi contatti.

c'è un altro modo per poter verificare se un contatto vi ha rimosso dalla sua lista, ma è possibile soltanto utilizzando Msn Plus.

• Andate nella lista contatti
• Selezionate il contatto che vi interessa
• e cliccate con il tasto destro del mouse
• e selezionate "Extra di Messenger Plus"
• Cliccate su "Informazioni Contatto"
• vi si aprirà una finestrella che mostrerà alcune info
• Se in basso nella finestra c'è scritto "Sei nella lista di questo contatto" Allora siete presenti nella sua lista
• Altrimenti potete anche cancellare il contatto perchè vi ha rimosso.
