Deixou viúvo o esposo Friedrich Labenz, com quem havia imigrado ao Brasil em 1876. Contava com 76 anos e faleceu vítima de pneumonia, sem assistência médica. O seu registro de óbito informa que foi sepultada no "Cemitério Público dessa vila". Mas se de fato está no Cemitério Municipal de São Bento, não existe qualquer lápide que informe o local, a exemplo do que também acontece com outros ancestrais antigos.

Wilhelmine Witt e seu esposo tiveram, ao que se sabe, apenas filhas mulheres. Entre elas, minha trisavó Ida Bertha Labenz, que se casaria com Karl Giese, da Pomerânia, e que seriam pais do meu bisavô Rodolfo Giese. Suspeita-se que a família Witt fosse de origem protestante, enquanto que os Labenz eram católicos.

Integrity Music Latín y Canzion Group llegaron a un acuerdo de alianza estratégica para la distribución de su catálogo para el mercado cristiano.

(NoticiaCristiana.com) Con motivo de la nueva alianza estratégica entre Integrity Music Latin, Canzion y EMI Christian Music Group, Marcos Wiit visitó las instalaciones de Integrity Music, ubicadas en la pequeña ciudad de Mobile, Alabama, Estados Unidos.

Integrity Music Latín y Canzion Group llegaron a un acuerdo de alianza estratégica para la distribución de su catálogo para el mercado cristiano de Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Uruguay y Paraguay. Este acuerdo se oficializó el pasado jueves 3 de abril en Santiago de Chile y luego en Buenos Aires, Argentina.


A través de esta alianza, estas compañías unen esfuerzos para el desarrollo de la música cristiana en la región de América Latina, esperando una larga y fructífera sociedad que expandirá el ministerio de llevar el mensaje de Cristo a Latinoamérica.

Cabe mencionar que Marcos Witt ya ha realizado anteriormente diversas alianzas y convenios de distribución del catálogo de Canzion Group, lo que ha permitido una alta penetración de sus productos en el mercado hispano. Katharina Witt hat gestern aufgehört, aktiv Eiskunstlauf zu betreiben. Kinder, wie die Zeit vergeht! Als wir 1982 in unserem Gemeinschaftsfernsehraum in der Kaserne sassen, haben wir ihr schon die Daumen gedrückt und als es 1988 gegen Debie Thomas ging auch. Der Sieg der kleinen DDR gegen die grosse USA. Sie hat uns mit Stolz erfüllt. Sie hat gezeigt, was für Potential in der DDR vorhanden war. Freilich hat sie auch gezeigt, dass nur harte Arbeit zum Erfolg führt. Mich hat es unsagbar geärgert, dass nach der Wende versucht wurde, ihre Leistungen in den Dreck zu ziehen, von speziellen bunten Zeitungen und missgünstigen Zeitgenossen. Klar, hat sie der DDR viel zu verdanken gehabt, die hat sie sportlich gefördert und ihr ermöglicht, das zu machen, was sie wollte und konnte, Eiskunstlaufen. Dass die politische Führung der DDR andere Zwecke verfolgt hat, hat sie nicht gestört. Hätte mich, ehrlich gesagt, auch nicht. Und nach Katharina Witt herrscht auf dem deutschen Eiskunstlaufsektor Erfolglosigkeit und Öde.
Hier das Kurzprogramm in Calgary. Da sassen wir trotz unserer Braunkohleschichten in Espenhain alle gebannt vor dem Fernseher.

Und das ist ihre Konkurrentin Debi  Thomas. Die Frau ist auch ganz schön losgewirbelt.
