In Part 1 he talks about whether or not Hillary wanted to be VP, complex reasons that people vote and the need to respect that as well as sexism in society and in the election. You only have to listen to him for a quick minute and you suddenly remember why they call him the Big Dawg! This man could talk for days and you'd be content to listen.

Part 2 is all about the economy, the mortgage crisis and the bailout that is in the works. Bottom line is he thinks this is necessary but not enough. We should have gone with Hillary's plan to creat a system to refinance peoples' mortgages so they could afford them and the end result could actually have made a profit in the long run. Boy that hillary is smart. Can we have her back now?

Part 3 he says Barbara reminded him that a year ago he said McCain would be the republican nominee because he is the only republican that could win. He also says Obama will win but in the same breath said wonderful things about John McCain. Hmmmm. I have to wonder what there is that he didn't say but might have wanted to? Plus you gotta say he brings out the best in people. Whoopie even wore a dress!

So, Disney is doing another Studio DC, which has now been elaborated on here. I am not thrilled. As much as I love the Muppets, it's just not the same anymore, and from what I saw on the first Studio DC, the jokes aren't funny. They're dumbing down the comedy. Sigh.

In other news, a new Christmas special is on deck. This one will be aired on NBC. I keeping my fingers crossed for good things, but I just can't imagine what they would be. The previous TV movies have been horrid for the Muppets, and while this is only one hour, I think Whoopie Goldberg is still involved and the last Christmas special told me that that's never a good idea.

But in brighter news, they're finally releasing Jim Henson's Christmas Toy on DVD. I'm very excited, as this was one of the movies I grew up with. I wonder if it's as great now as it was then! Preorder is available already on Amazon.

Lindsay Lohan has been the most recent celebrity critic of Governor Sarah Palin. She launched a ra

Lindsay Lohan has been the most recent celebrity critic of Governor Sarah Palin. She launched a rant on her myspace blog, writing against Governor Palin as being unqualified because, among some things, she had been a former news anchor, and hadn't received a passport until 2006.

A pertinent quote is as follows:

I find it quite interesting that a woman who now is running to be second in command of the United States, only 4 years ago had aspirations to be a television anchor. Which is probably all she is qualified to be... Also interesting that she got her passport in 2006.. And that she is not fond of environmental protection considering she's FOR drilling for oil in some of our protected land.... Well hey, if she wants to drill for oil, she should DO IT IN HER OWN backyard. This really shows me her complete lack of real preparation to become the second most powerful person in this country.

Governor Palin supports drilling in ANWR, a federal reserve in Alaska, the state of which she is governor. While Ms. Lohan is against drilling in ANWR, according to various sources, a great majority of Alaskans support it, upwards of 75%. It's the federal government, however, that has dictated to Alaska that they are not allowed to drill. Ms. Lohan is not from Alaska. Due to all of this, her criticism of the governor may be seen as rather baseless, and perhaps rather ignorant.

Ms. Lohan joins a list of other celebrities that have said inflamatory things with regard to Senator John McCain or Governor Palin. Prior to this, Whoopi Goldberg asked Senator McCain, while on The View, whether or not she should be concerned about being made a slave because of the senator's desire for more power to be in the hands of states instead of the federal government. The argument has been used before that leaving states to decide what they want for their own citizens on controversial issues is somehow dangerous, since slavery existed in some states and not others prior to the US Civil war. The fear is that states could impose such conditions on their own citizens, although an explanation as to how this is anymore dangerous than an out-of-control federal government that could impose such views on all states is not usually explained.

Among other celebrities to attack Governor Palin in such a way is Pamela Anderson and Matt Damon. The former said, "I can't stand her," before offering a rather harsh criticism of the governor. The latter had criticized Governor Palin on her life history, saying that it sounded like "a really bad Disney movie." He criticized her experience as mayor of Wasilla and governor of Alaska, and mentioned the possiblity that Governor Palin believes in Creationism and took opportunity to speak on that subject as well. Citing the possibility that she could be president of the United States, he said:

I need to know if she really thinks dinosaurs were here 4,000 years ago. That's an important -- I want to know that. I really do, because she's going to have the nuclear codes. You know? I want to know if she thinks dinosaurs were here 4,000 years ago, or if she banned books or tried to ban books. I mean, you know, we can't -- we can't have that.

He didn't elaborate on how Governor Palin's belief of dinosaur's being here 4,000 years could start a nuclear war. Although it's been reported that the governor had asked about the possibility of banning books while in Alaska, no books were banned, and the context of her question to the librarian is still unclear at present.

Ms. Lohan included a word of advice to Governor Palin: "Oh, and...Hint Hint Pali Pal- Don't pose for anymore tabloid covers, you're not a celebrity, you're running for office to represent our, your, my COUNTRY!" She also included the words of Ms. Anderson.

Democratic strategists will most likely ignore hollywood's lack of control among its rather liberal base. GOP strategists might be able to use this to point out to what they might call bigotry and prejudicial hatred among elitist members of the left-wing. All in all, such negative reactions among celebrities is likely to backfire as Governor Palin's popularity is quite high, even higher than certain celebrities.

If anyone in the future ever cares enough to look back at the career of Barbara Walters, September 1

If anyone in the future ever cares enough to look back at the career of Barbara Walters, September 12, will be the day that she officially hit rock bottom. Senator, and Presidential candidate, John McCain appeared on ABC's the view. Personally, I'm not sure the upside of appearing on the show because between Walters and the other leftiest loons on that panel - Whoopie Goldberg and Joy Behar- they have the combined political and policy knowledge of your average stoner college student who gets all his news and views from the Daily Show. (Actually that might be insulting to stoner college students and the Daily Show, so I apologize to them.)

Despite the lack of knowledge, and frankly common sense on that show, Senator McCain chose to sit down with them. As the member of the cast who is meant to bring "gravitas" and credibility to the show, I believe Barbara Walters had a duty to ensure that this interview was fair and respectful. Press issues all you like, but this should be done in a professional manner. Instead, what viewers of "the View" were subjected to was a mere hatchet job that gave the impression the liberal bloggers playing puppet master. (For those thinking I might be exaggerating, look at the headlines that appear on a news search on the topic.) Walters was one of the leading offenders routinely cutting Senator McCain off, arrogantly and sarcastically interjecting herself and hurling questions that you'd suspect came directly from Senator Obama's press shop.

McCain's camp likely deserves some of the blame for this debacle for assuming he'd get anything close to a fair shake, but Friday should serve as a reality check to Walters as to how far her career has fallen. As a woman who boasts interviews with Presidents, world leaders and celebrities a like, what little credibility she had left was shredded that day. If she ever recovers from this she can look at this interview as a wakeup call reminiscent of junkie finally looking in the mirror and disliking who is looking back her. If she continues the quality of television that she's been putting out to the public recently, this will be a glaring example of the gutter politicking she'll be known for if one day anyone deems it worthy to write her story.

It's about time the media is addressing the barrage of garbage being thrown around this campaign cycle, especially by the McCain Camp.

By MICHAEL COOPER and JIM RUTENBERG

Published: September 12, 2008

Harsh advertisements and negative attacks are a staple of presidential campaigns, but Senator John McCain has drawn an avalanche of criticism this week from Democrats, independent groups and even some Republicans for regularly stretching the truth in attacking Senator Barack Obama’s record and positions.

McCain Barbs Stirring Outcry as Distortions - NYTimes.com.

I watched, with a bit of glee i might add, as the hosts on The View questioned McCain's use of out-right lies in his campaign ads and endorsing them with his name: “We know these ads are lies,” said Joy Behar. “But you say ‘I approve these messages.’ Do you really approve them?” (aprox 6.30 minutes mark). He actually says "They are not lies." He is just making himself look like an idiot with that response.

I also wonder if McCain really believes the crap he says about Palin to fluff her up in this segment. Is he senile or does he think the American public is stupid? He claims he chose her to reform government when he is running on the same platform as the current government. Sinile strike number 1,786.

How about segment two, He can't even respond to Whoopie's question about separation of church and state without choking. Those of us with a brain know that crap about Palin quoting Abraham Lincoln was googly contrived by the McCain staff after the clip of Palin addressing her church was distributed through the blogosphere.

Yep. It was John McCain being just one of the girls. Unfortunately, John wasn't selling what these babes were buying (With the exception of the bubble-headed blonde on the end). In fact, The View looked more like Bill O'Reilly going three rounds with Obama. Only on The View, four ladies hold you down while Barbara or Whoopi let you have it. I didn't get the impression that most of these women were honored and touched that the GOP had added a lightweight woman to the ticket.

When I was a child - about five or six - something happened that left a vivid impression on me.

I heard the word "nigger" for the first time.

It wasn't the word that left such an impression (I didn't even know what it meant); rather, it was my father's reaction to it.

My dad used curse words at the man who said it. The other man yelled at my dad, and my dad yelled back at him. The other man was big and angry and mean. I was terrified that my dad was going to fight that bad man.

After that incident, my dad sat me down. He apologized for using bad words, and then he said that there were two kinds of words: bad words and evil words. And he said the word "nigger" was an evil word. He said he got so angry because it was wrong for that man to say such a hateful thing around children. He said that sometimes you had to stand up and say that something was wrong.

My father said that people who used that word meant that black people weren't human beings like other people, but were something less. He said that the most awful things that ever happened happened because people thought like that about other people who were different from them, and that he hoped that I would never be like those people.

I wonder what children who heard Jesse Jackson use the word the other day thought.

There was a discussion about it on The View, in which Whoopie Goldberg and the liberals on the program justified black people using the word. It's only wrong when white people use it.

Black people use it as a "term of endearment."

Is that the case?

I don't think so. There's nothing "dear" about the word, and there never has been. Hey, I'm calling you a sub-human beast of burden, but I really mean it in a really nice way.

For one thing, it perpetuates the use of both the word, and the content of the word. If you think that racist white people don't justify their use of the word with, "Black people use it all the time. They use it to talk about each other!" then you simply aren't living in the real world.

If black people want white people to stop using the "N-word," then they have to stop using the word themselves. Until that word is off-limits for everyone, it will continue to be fair game for everyone.

As an example, activists such as Al Sharpton have said that it is the (white) executives of the major recording studios who are most to blame for the N-word's impact on culture. But let me ask you a question: is it the white executives who are using the word, or are they recording the use of the word by black artists? Apart from the related issue of what would actually happen if white music executives started refusing to produce the works of black artists, the fact remains: if black artists refused to use the word, it would immediately die out of the music industry. White executives simply would not dare produce works that used the N-word without the "cover" of it being spoken/sung by blacks.

Ultimately the greatest question of all is this one: how many children - every single day - discover racism by hearing that word for the very first time?

Thank God for my dad, who stood up and said, "Don't you dare use that word around my son!" My dad's act of teaching me not to tolerate the N-word helped me learn to be intolerant of the racism that it always has and always will symbolize.

Elizabeth Hasslebeck literally cried because that word so upset her. It ought to upset everyone. Period.

Instead, when I googled "elizabeth hasslebeck" and "n-word" I saw the full hate and meanness of the left come out in all its vile ugliness. I discussed the viciousness of the left the other day in writing about the hatred expressed over the passing of Tony Snow. Viciousness is increasingly coming to characterize the left.

For a second thing, claiming that one group of people can use a word, and another group of people can't, is the quintessential example of a double-standard.

The double-standards that have been a constant element of "the civil rights movement" for years are a big part of why so many white people have become so embittered over the movement. Racial quotas. The N-word. The very anger over demands for personal responsibility that so enraged Jesse Jackson in the first place.

How on earth does anybody think that a reliance upon one double-standard after another is the path to racial harmony? It just isn't, and it never was.

Dr. Martin Luther KIng, Jr. said, "I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character." But the civil rights leaders - such as Jesse Jackson - turned that statement on its head.

Don't you talk to us about the "content of our characters!" You had better never forget the color of our skins!" And you better give us stuff on the basis of the color of our skins!

How are poor whites supposed to feel when they are systematically denied equal opportunity in the very name of "equal opportunity"?

Dr. King's murder was a terrible thing. But the worst thing of all was that lesser men were able to hijack the civil rights movement and substitute their own ideas for his.

The third thing is that the use of the "N-word" itself becomes a political expression and an example of everything that is wrong with politics.

When Don Imus referred to "Nappy-headed hoes" he was attacked by the very "civil rights leaders" (including Jackson himself) who are now defending Jackson's use of the word.

When Republican Senator George Allen used the word "macaca" to describe a Democrat plant, he was literally driven out of politics. To this day, I have never been able to find out what that word actually means. It didn't matter. It could be construed to sound racist, and that was enough.

Now the same people who were so completely outraged over a conservative using the nonsensical word "macaca" are defending a liberal using the genuinely evil word "nigger." It is simply Kafkaesque.

If you want to say, "It's different because Jackson is a black man using a word about blacks!" then let me mention Barack Obama's use of "typical white person."

What we are seeing today is nothing less than selective outrage being employed as a political weapon.

And it's wrong. It's wrong because it makes genuine racism meaningless as politically-motivated pseudo-charges or racism drown out the real thing.

I am a conservative white male. And like the overwhelming majority of genuine conservatives, I would gladly support the candidacy of Dr. Condileeza Rice for president. She is - of course - both black and female.

I wouldn't vote for her "because she's black"; rather I would vote for her because she has the experience, the judgment, the competence, the character, the values, and the policies to be our president.

I do not support Barack Obama. And I refuse to support him not "because he's black"; rather, I won't vote for him because he doesn't have the experience, the judgment, the competence, the character, the values, and the policies to be our president.

Jesse Jackson used the "N-word" because he thinks entirely in racial (and I would argue racist) terms. One of the worst examples of racism is the continuous use of terms like "Uncle Tom" and "race traitor" to describe prominent black leaders such as Condileeza Rice, Colin Powell, and Clarence Thomas.

As far as many in the "civil rights movement" are concerned, unless you are "our kind of black," they feel entirely free to call you "a house nigger."

That's exactly what Jesse Jackson was doing. Barack Obama wasn't being "his" kind of black.

They are the real racists, because they can only think in purely racial terms, and they see racism in everyone but themselves. And it's truly sad that such people have somehow been able to put themselves in charge over who gets to branded as a "racist" and who doesn't.

One black intellectual spoke of bargainers and challengers in the black community. The first group is willing to give whites and white society the benefit of the doubt, and work with them to try to create a better society. The second group (and Jesse Jackson is in this group) holds that whites and white society should be regarded as racist until they prove they are not.

But Jesse Jackson himself once said that crime was such a problem in the black community that when he saw a group of young black men he automatically looked around and found himself reassured by the presence of white people. Given the black crime rate, why shouldn't I assume that blacks aren't criminals and "thugs" (as Barack Obama's NEW pastor himself put it) until they prove otherwise?

Because that's not the way my dad taught me how to regard people, is why. That view doesn't lead to peace and harmony, but suspicion and mistrust.

Anyone who has read even one of my articles about Barack Obama knows that I am not an Obama supporter. But on this issue, Barack Obama is clearly right, and Jesse Jackson - who has been the paradigmatic "civil rights leader" for a generation now - should now stand revealed for just how terribly wrong he is and always has been.

I dream of a day when Dr. King's dream comes true. That's why I have always been an opponent of Jesse Jackson.

I love a good movie. Given that I have 2 young children, I don't get out much to see new releases, so I'm usually 2-3 years behind the movie curve. Below are some movies that I pray never get made. As always, comments are welcome, even criticism. I just enjoy the discussion.

1. Schindler's List II: The Revenge of Rabbi Shlomo (or alternatively Schindler's List Jew. Get it? Jew. Two. Woody Allen would love that joke.) Just so I can't be accused of being anti-Semitic, I'll get serious for a second and declare, so there's no confusion, this is a joke.

2. Casablanca II -- Originally released in 1942, Bogart's and Bergman's characters now find themselves in the same nursing home gumming apple sauce with Bogart's character constantly jabbering, "Of all the nursing homes in all the towns, in all the world..."

3. Police Academy 24 -- I don't want the integrity and never-ending creativity of the first 23 Police Academy movies being cheapened by a 24th. The black guy who makes computer game noises with his mouth, the white dude who loves guns, Bubba Smith turns over a car with his bare hands, oh, I'm busting a gut just thinking about it.

4. Legally Blind -- Stevie Wonder makes his lead role debut in this spin off of Legally Blonde. Among the many hijinks, Stevie drives a car down San Francisco's famed Lombard Street.

5. Roots in Reverse -- In this adaptation of Alex Haley's classic novel, the epic mini-series Roots is portrayed in reverse order and Chicken George, Toby, and all the cast members lose their freedom and are returned to slavery. I'd have to veto this script for no other reason than it would be a big hit in the redneck state in which I live and I don't want that ugliness coming out.

6. The Color Purple: Vegas Style -- In this rip-roaring rags to riches story, Harpo's bar on the water gets bought by MGM and turned into a 1200 room resort and casino. Within 4 months, Celie loses all of her money on nickel slots and has to move back in with Danny Glover.

7. Weekend at Bernie's: What That's Smell? -- Andrew McCarthy is back in this hilarious, laugh out loud funny adventure in which he must evade space aliens while dragging around a decayed corpse.

8. Anything with Keanu Reeves in it. As I said in an earlier post, Keanu Reeves needs to just quit, enjoy his crappy band, and stay off the big screen, especially if the role calls for a southern accent.

9. Friday the 13th Part....We Lost Count: This Time Jason Dies For Good, No We Really Mean It -- In this 5-minute long mini-movie, a sheriff shoots Jason in the stomach. He develops a severe infection and dies 2 days later at the Sisters of Mercy Charitable Hospital. No one gets axed, ice-picked, spear-gunned, nothing.

10. Look Who's Really Talking Right Now -- Bruce Willis is back as mimes and mutes are given voices in addition to babies, dogs, and toddlers.

It is a calcium supplement disguised as a piece of really good dark chocolate. You don’t like dark chocolate, you say? Well, never fear, it also comes in milk chocolate, although I have never tasted that one, I’m sure it’s yummy. I loooove good dark chocolate and I was really surprised at how good these are. I have one after breakfast and one after dinner, and it really helps me with that “I just want one bite of something sweet” habit I have after dinner. This is one supplement that I am oh so happy to take!!

In other news: I had my weekly visit/weigh in with the doc yesterday and I have lost another 3.5 pounds, which brings me to a total of 20.5 pounds lost since February. That’s also 12.5 pounds for this month alone, which concerns even me just a little bit, so last night instead of having a taco salad while everyone else had tacos, I decided I would splurge a little and have two tacos myself. I don’t want to lose weight too fast because then I’m afraid that I won’t keep it off. (I can’t believe I just typed that sentence – I’ve never been accused of losing weight too fast!!!) But really, while I think 10 pounds per month is okay, 12 -15 may be a little much. I think I’m going to relax just a tad and add a few carbs in here and there. I’ve gotten into the habit of drinking tons of water, so I’m not sure I could cut back on that, and I have come to rely on my nightly walk for the endorphins, so I really don’t want to cut that out either. I loves me some endorphins (and so does my family!).

I am at my halfway point now. Another 20 pounds is my goal, and when (notice how I said “when”, not “if”?) I reach that, I’ll see if I want to go for another 10. That would be ideal, but I’m not hanging all my hopes on that one. I already feel so much better – I’m amazed at how much easier it is to move. Little things like climbing up in the truck and getting up off the floor are so much easier now.

Whoopie Goldberg did an HBO special like 20 or 30 years ago (it was one of her first I think), where she did a series of monologues. It is really brilliant, and if I can find a clip of it on YouTube, I’ll try to post it. Anyway, one of her monologues was about a quadriplegic who is talking about her life. She mentions that she has dreams, dreams where she is suddenly able to get up out of her wheelchair and walk. She can walk and move, and is amazed at how she can move her body in all sorts of different ways. After being cramped up in her chair all her life, she can suddenly stretch and bend and dance and run, and she can feel every muscle in her body working.

This is how I am starting to feel.

I feel like I have been in a fat suit for the last 12 years, and I got so used to it, that I had forgotten what it feels like to really feel my body move. When I run or walk, I am amazed at how my muscles are working and how running is easier than it was even 10 pounds ago. When I started really trying to lose weight, it was all about how I looked. Now though, it is starting to balance out with how I feel. Having clothes that fit again is great, but being able to run for longer stretches at a time feels far more superior. I like that “free” feeling. If I could dance, I would break out into a spontaneous interpretive dance! (A spontaneous interpretive two-step doesn’t quite cut it!)

Okay, enough of that, here’s a little humor to start your weekend…

Have a great weekend everyone! :)

Yesterday I went to the Tony Awards dress rehearsal, which CBS hosted. I saw a bunch of famous people including:

Whoopie Goldberg

Brooke Shields

Glenn Close

Laura Linney

Liza Minnelli

John Lithgow

David Hyde Pierce

The Original cast of RENT performed as well as eight or nine performances by other musicals. Despite the fact that I'm not really into Broadway that much, I enjoyed seeing the performances. The actors are all so very talented. And they work so hard. I really want to go see In the Heights which is breaking ground on Broadway and won for best musical.

AND .... Daniel Radcliffe!!!!!

I flashed my CBS ID and a $20 bill to a security guard to try to get back and see Harry Daniel, but she just laughed and said "four digits, honey, four digits." well. it was worth a try. and i would have kicked myself if I hadn't at least tried. or margie would kick me instead.

Aí vi "A cor púrpura" e me apaixonei de vez.

Então, o The Ten deste mês é justamente eles, os crossovers!

The Ten: Crossovers

10º - O Mestre dos Brinquedos vs. Os Muppets

Lembram dos brinquedos infames do André Tulon? E dos inocentes Muppets? Pois é... Já pensou se eles travassem uma batalha? Qual seria o resultado disso, heim?

09º - Chuck vs. Bonecas Assassinas

Que comece a batalha dos sexos!

De um lado o "good guy", chuck... Do outro, a gang das barbies demoníacas... Quem será que saíria com a vitória?

AHUAHUAH...

08º - Whoopie Goldberg + Leslie Nilsen

07º - Buffy vs. Garotos Perdidos

06º - Lara Croft vs. Indana Jones

05º - As Panteras + James Bond

04º - Wes Craven + Stephen King

03º - Sidney Prescott + Julie James

02º - J.J. Abrams + Steven Spielberg

01º - Jennifer Garner + Nicole Kidman

Descrevendo a parceria dessas 2 (por sinal, minhas atrizes favoritas! xD) aí em apenas 1 palavra: PERFEIÇÃO! =]

“I‘m sure at some point Jeffery Dahmer ate peanut butter and jelly sandwiches… does it then make the fact that he ate people less wrong? - Elisabeth Hasselbeck, the View: On March 24, 2008, Hasselbeck called Rev. Jeremiah Wright a racist and equated him to serial killer JeffreyDahmer.

“Sexy, blonde bombshell Elisabeth Hasselbeck’s logic typifies the logic of all white Americans. When making blanket statements such as these about the white race, it is important to know their history so the comments aren’t taken out of context. Remember,” says Ghetto Bragging Rights publisher Kirkland Perkins, “There is only one political party in America: the white party. Playing Democrat VS Republican is a game to them.”

“Hasselbeck’s stament’s have their root in the Classic American Racial Psychosis (CARP) disorder that all whites suffer from,” says racial psychologist Dr. Louis Sidney Jacobs. “They are disillusioned beyond repair with the concepts of racial beauty and superiority.”

“Word in the Nation is that one of the sisters on the show has already impregnated Hasselbeck with a melanoma,” says Yacub13X national spokesman Yusef Ali. “Now the Sun of God will express the perversion of her words through her superior skin and bombshell blonde hair. Henceforth, she, like the Fig Tree is cursed. For, she has leaves but bears no fruit. Her melanoma execution is yet another sign of the 2nd Coming of the Sun of God.”

With your new names, you are now written of in the Book of Life.”Hence, the seal from the Book of Life was removed. Now blacks and people of color throughout the land did hear the word of God spoken by His Saint Liar and removed their Bibles from their homes. Many placed them into their trash cans. Others placed their Bibles on their curbs. Some threw them into the streets. But, too, there were also some blacks who feared departing with their Bibles. Underneath their mattresses and in other hiding spots where they thought God could see not, they hid them. But God did see them.THE WEDDING OF GOD TO HIS PEOPLENow it was after the Wedding of God to His people that the white people all across the land were awakened; and, they knew not blacks had thrown their Bibles away.

St. Nicolas Thief Blasts Jewish & White People’s Gods as Invisible … - Gersham Goldstein (NY) - Ghetto black male celebrity felon St. Nicolas Thief, the outspoken champ of BlackPovertySpeaks, issued a threat to the God of the fake Israeli & Western Jews & white Christians …

Now, while the whites slept, the wedding of God to His people was complete. To the woman, God became the groom. To the man, God became the bride. “For I am neither and both,” God spoke.

And from that great & secret place, which is the Chamber of the Almighty, God entered that great temple (which is the mind of His chosen); and all therein did abide under His Wing. Again darkness fell upon the face of the deep; and the spirit of God moved upon the waters. Yea upon every bed of water, both large and small – even upon every great ocean, the face of God again shone.

And great confusion beset the land. For they who could behold His face said it was the face of themselves, or their cousins, or parents, children, brothers or sisters.

Buddy Johnston in Jackson, Mississippi saw His reflection in the water streaming from the fire hydrant. His eyes sparkled.

“How Wesley Snipes got his face showing in the water?” Down the street it flowed.

All the way home he trailed it. “Boy, what took you so long,” hearing the screen door draw,” his momma called. The food done got cold”

To Buddy, His face looked like actor Wesly Snipe.

“I seen Wesly Snipes face out there in the puddle of water at the corner!”

Thirteen year old Kisha Washington, of St. Louis, Missouri, thought she’d seen the face of her daddy.

His face appeared to her while washing dishes. From drying the plates, she paused and moved to stare deep within the waters.

“Momma, momma,” she stuttered.

Old man Bubba Leroy Green of Beaumont, Texas knew whose face he beheld.

He called his son’s attentions.

A fish nibbling on Bubba Jr.’s line, “I got one on the line, daddy,” he replied.

“Look at the water’s surface, son. He always said He would be coming back.”

Now, in all the places in the land where rain fell, great calm fell upon those outdoors. The cluster of unruly gangsters thugging near a bus stop in Chicago, Illinois fell silent. Mother Jones, of 135th street in Harlem, NY, could see His very face in the rain drops as they fell.

She pulled her umbrella too so the rain could fall upon her.

And all across the land His people spoke of the strange day they saw the face in the waters. Many, however, said they beheld no face.

Yet, some even seeing His face said they beheld nothing.

God spoke to Saint Liar telling him to go forth and announce to His brides and grooms that they were no longer to work for another.

And Saint Liar spoke saying, “My God, the people have bills to pay and will not trust in thee to provide for them.

And God answered and said tell my husbands and wives they may no longer work for another.

Now Saint Liar went forth and spoke to the husbands and wives of God telling them their new instruction. Yet, the next morning many returned to their owners’ jobs. And God grew angry because the husbands and wives continued in labor for another.

“Tell them they are now married to the maker of the heavens and the earth,” to His Saint Liar, God spoke.

Being passed Revelations, the day for saying prayers had expired.

White people knew it not.

In their churches and homes many prayed daily.

All of their prayers fell back to the earth.

To their own bosoms and into the dirt their prayers collapsed.

The great and many white people of the land neither knew this.

Now the Wedding of God to His people was a great event.

King Soloman shook Danny Glover’s hand. They stared at each other and hurried up the ailse.

Isis and Oprah readied to attend. Whoopie Goldberg met them in route.

Kanye West spoke and said, “I will never return to MTV again. When he received his invitation he purchased buses and gathered all the children and all the adults and headed for After the ceremony.

And all the black people headed for the temple wherein the Lord announced the Wedding to be. And Oprah, Bill Cosby, Colin Powell gathered all the buses of the land together and prepared them for The Wedding.

So the children boarded the buses from all the land. And the blacks in hell danced.
