Do you ever just feel like you're holding so many emotions inside you're going to explode? I always, always keep things to myself. When I get angry I don't yell, I just keep it to myself until I calm down. When I'm sad I go somewhere private to cry. When I'm happy...

You get the point. I guess I'm just feeling more melcholy then usual due to the fact that university starts on monday, my internet at my new place still isn't working and...well...it's that time. I should go home. I don't think the bus runs after six but I'm starting to not care.

The internet thing is really starting to annoy me. It took over a month for it to be put on and now I'll probably take another two weeks to convince Andrew to come and get it working for me. I asked around at anime club but all the i.t students/workers don't own cars/work 9-5 and live on the far north of the coast. Plus they all just kept asking why Andrew hadn't fixed it and why Andrew hasn't been at anime. >.< I really wish they hadn't.

I don't want to think about him today. Sometimes I get so angry and sulkly about/over him especially around this time. Clingy...possessive. It's so annoying. I'm so annoying.

But it's still nice to finally have my computer fixed.

I really don't know what to say. There's heaps of things that's been happening lately. Everything and nothing at the same time. God, I hate fucking everything sometimes.

WARNING: I am in a whiny mood.

I have nothing to complain about, though, so I'll try not to complain.

So out of nowhere during dinner David gets a call from his man-buddies, saying, "remember we were gonna jam tonight?" Oops. Nope, he'd forgotten. I told him to go ahead, dropped him off and thought about going shopping, but sitting my whiny ass in front of the laptop sounded oh-so-much-more satisfactory.

After dinner we were planning to go see X-files (I love the X-files, I really do). And we rented and started watching 21. You know, any other day I'd be glad to have time to myself, but this past week I have not wanted to be alone at all. I feel like I need constant support, someone to talk to. I feel 5 lbs heavier (probably am) because of my period. I am bloated. I am bloated and want attention. I won't lie. I am pissed and whiny and complaining and am ready to just break down. How flipping ridiculous is this?

I have a backbone, and I can be just as mean and spiteful as the next person.

God damn. There. I KNOW you've been bullshitting me, and I don't appreciate it.

If and when this girl screws you over, and you're banging your head against the wall, and you come to me because I'm a safe person to talk to, you're going to be in for a surprise when I don't offer up any sympathy this time. You had more than a chance. You freaking tried me out.

And while I'm complaining...

I want my brother back. He's become one of those guys I had hoped he'd never be. He's shallow and inconsiderate, and if he doesn't phase out of this, I just know I'm going to leave and disconnect from my entire family, because he's the only reason I haven't yet.

Jeg trenger å våkne ved siden av noen. En som ligger å holder rundt meg og det er egentlig så varmt at jeg holder på å dø, men jeg sparker heller av meg dyna og fletter meg mer inntil deg enn vi allerede er. Jeg vil ha en som kysser ømt og som tar på meg på akkurat den riktige måten. Jeg vil ha en som ligger å tirrer meg til jeg dør om han ikke tar meg. (Faen, jeg hater mensen! Jeg blir så ekstremt kåt!! Der har du min form for pms lissom...)

Man kan alle gjøre en feil. Jeg synes ikke vi begikk en, jeg. Hvite løgner er alltid lov. Og feil? Alle har da lov til å feile? Vi er tross alt mennesker og det er menneskelig å feil og alt det der.

Jeg har ikke fortalt det til deg, har jeg vel? At jeg savner deg innimellom, jeg tillater bare ikke meg selv å fortsette. Selv om noen mener at jeg kanskje burde det.

La oss skåle! Nei, for da er jeg visstnok alkoholmisbruker og det som verre er. Jeg hater å bli dømt fordi jeg sitter på puben med mennesker som livet ikke ga en ekstra sjangse til. Jeg vet at jeg fortsatt har sjanser. Og jeg synes jeg tar sjangser ganske så ofte i grunn. Jeg har møtt masse herlige mennesker der. Og det er der jeg får klemmer og de klemmer ikke for ingenting. Senest i går fikk jeg en lang, god klem :)

Jeg føler ikke helt for middag i dag. Jeg er ennå så forbanna såra over den setningen. Og det er ikke første gangen du har kommet med en slik en. Det betyr jo bare det jeg har trodd hele tiden. At dere ikke har tro på meg. Det var drømmen min for faen. Eller er du bare bitter? Fordi du sitter der alene, i en alder av over femti. Du slitr ikke med økonomien, du har et stort hus, med utsikt utover vannet, fin bil og diverse, men egentlig tror jeg du er vanvittig ensom, tante Unn. Du fikk aldri oppfylt din drøm, er det ikke slik? Jeg skal prøve å ikke være bitter på deg i kveld. Jeg skal prøve, men om jeg oppfører meg likegyldig til deg, så er det derfor!

Success vs Failure in a Home Based Business

Recently, I was speaking to a group of Entrepreneurs when I was once again asked; “why do so many people fail at home businesses”. This is, without any doubt, the most frequent question I am asked. And, although I see the answer as very simple, I am astounded at how many people just do not “get it”.

Let’s look at the question at a deeper level (what are they really wanting to know). “Why do some people make tons of money easily and so many others make no money at all”?

The answer to that question is three things; desire, belief and commitment. Now, before you say to yourself, “here we go again”, I want to take this deeper than just the desire, belief and commitment, but into the reasons why these three answers are so important to your own success.

Anytime someone starts a home based business, the reason behind it is usually 1 of 2 things. Either they want to make extra money or they want to have time freedom. Personally, I believe the 2nd reason is the same as the first, because in order to have lots of free time and be with your family, you must be making some money!

Anyway, I have digressed.

This is what happens. You find a business you like and you get started. You either jump right in and start marketing your business or you are in an unending “ready to get ready mode”. But wait, where is your plan of success?

Did you take a serious look at what you really wanted to accomplish with your business? Did you then look at the business model to determine what it will take to get what you want from that business. Are you looking for microwave success or slow cooker success? Does this business have true potential to create a 6 figure income the first year or will it take a long time to build to that level?

What is your plan to accomplish this level of income? For example, if you are looking for just a few extra dollars and willing to put in years of time to build a highly profitable money machine, you might look at a Multi Level model. You must take into consideration how long it will take you to have what you want. Don’t get me wrong, MLM is a sound business model. But, historically, it generates income at a slow cooker pace.

Another example is Direct Sales, usually this model involves higher profit margins (these can be upwards to thousands of dollars per sale) and can create substantial income much faster with a microwave potential. Decide which model you want, and then find a company with that model.

Also look at the evidence of success for the product and company. Are there people who are getting what you want? Look at the people who are living the life you want. Did they accomplish it within months, or within years?

The fact is simple, if anyone has made what you want to make in the time you want to make it, then you can too, anybody can! I can’t stress this enough. I did not say “is everyone” getting what you want, because regardless of the business, many people will still fail, because of the points I am discussing here.

The key in business success is knowing that if anyone can do something, so can you. Now, back to the three reasons. Did you take a look at your level of belief in the business (do you really believe it can take you to where you want to go) and did you make a commitment to succeed at it?

Now get this; “Most people start a business, playing to not lose, instead of playing to win”. The difference between these two things is the underlying desire, belief and commitment.

This is exactly why 80% of businesses fail. Regardless of the venue, home businesses or brick and mortar businesses. The owners never decided to play the business game to WIN IT!

But to play to win takes those 3 elements; desire, belief and commitment. Everyone has some idea of the things they want in life. Few however, get emotionally connected to having what they want. They go through life “wanting” and what do they get, “more wanting”. The difference here, among a few others is primarily getting emotionally connected to the desire.

In order to really have something you want, you have to focus on it, give it lots of energy and lots of attention. But the emotion comes from seeing yourself already in possession of it. And the emotion is what drives the level of success. Not a negative of want, but a positive emotion of have.

So what does this have to do with the new business owner? They want to succeed (and make money) but rarely see themselves already having business success. They go through their days hoping for customers and sales, hoping for a profit and more importantly, make decisions based on hope instead of belief.

When in business, you must play to win. This means taking some chances. Look at people like Trump and Gates. Do you really think they started businesses hoping, or did they have a deep, undying belief they would be successful?

No one ever became a successful business owner or even wealthy, without taking chances. But the ability to take chances comes from belief. Belief in yourself, belief in your business, belief in your business model and your compensation plan. If there is any lack of absolute belief in any of these areas, then you are doomed.

At this point, you are unable to make good business decisions because you do not absolutely believe in your own success. Any decisions made are made out of hope, not out of belief. And, when you make decisions from hope, you are playing to “not lose”.

But what about commitment? Based on desire and belief, you then take ownership of your business. You decide to do whatever it takes to have your success (with absolute integrity of course). Most people fail simply because they give up. Of course, then come the excuses…. (that business did not work, the product was bad, the company was bad, I was scammed and on and on and on….) The only reason, if you have found the right company to meet your desires (based on compensation, product and others having what you desire) is that you gave up. Period!

There are so many stories in history of people who gave up seconds before success, inches before success on so on. In most businesses, it takes only one sale to turn the tide completely. If you bail out before that one sale appears, then you are just giving up on yourself, your desires and your dreams.

And unfortunately, when you bail on one business, you are going to bail on many until you finally “get it”. Just a brief point I feel I must share with you. When people are trying to lure you into their business with the “I tried xx amount of businesses before finding one that worked” routine. RUN, RUN FAST…. they are failures and will not be good leaders to guide and assist you in being a success. Do not buy into their excuses.

Determine what you want, how you are going to get it. Believe you will have it regardless. And then, make a commitment to yourself and your business.

Success is not hard, making money is not hard. But learning to deal with what is inside you can be. I will end with one of my favorite quotes, but do not know who coined this…. “Work a job and make a living, work on yourself and make a fortune”!

Everyday Great Victory

Wow, I just read my last article. I think I was a bit crabby that day and didn't realize it. Funny how we can go a few days and not realize how tense we are.

That's where husbands come in - "Is everything all right, hon? You seem a little tense."

Oh, but then we might get offended. "What?! What do you mean, I'm tense? Well, shouldn't I be? Do you know what I've been through today?!?" The poor guy, he was probably just trying to help.

That's what you call a moment in time with a PMS Queen.

I could complain tonight. There are a few minor hiccups in my normal life routine - here's a few to give you an idea: I discovered lice in the hair of two of my children; I am preparing to go out of town to my niece's wedding; I am facing a couple days with all my family members; my husband just left for another state and will be gone for 4 days; I have been taking care of my niece for two weeks, so I have an extra child; just tonight, my niece discovered a strange looking rash on her leg that is itching like crazy.

Wow, will it ever end? I have to admit, the lice pushed me a bit over the edge and I threw a tiny fit - maybe a couple tiny fits. Oh, and did I mention that my kitchen is being invaded by fruit flies? I don't even have any fruit!

Well, I am just going to sit here and smile because it's all going to pass. It's actually comical when you look at it all. And what a great victory it will be if, I mean, WHEN I find my peace and walk in it. I can picture myself walking through all these circumstances, laughing at them.

I do wish I wouldn't have thrown those fits earlier. But it's not too late - there's still plenty to do during which I can practice my peace.

Do you know what I mean by "practice my peace"? It means that I am going to be still before the Lord - even if it's only for a few moments at a time - and get in touch with reality - God's reality. Decisions.. Decisions

Well I just made a hard decision to leave a clan I've been in for a while now. There a well known console and pc gaming clan named PMS ( Pandora's Mighty Soldiers ) obviously being a male I was in the H2O side of the clan. There a great bunch of people but I had to quit due to college coming up and having to be asked to play 5 nights a week is too much. Studying comes first right!

Well now I'm looking to form a small clan with some friends I've known for a while. It will just be gaming for fun and maybe get some matches going. Win or lose it won't matter because having fun is what we will be about! We don't have a name for the clan yet but we are still thinking about that at the moment.

If anyone wants to add me on Xbox Live my gamertag is Mysterio H2O. I will be changing it sometime this week or next though so I'll keep you updated on that one. ;)

After a lovely weekend getting tan at the lake has led into a okay if blah week. A few surprises like possibly getting poison oak/sumac/ivy/whatever and having the power go out for several hours Monday night are about all I have to report on. I am pretty much pissed off that I have some type of contact rash from a f'ing plant. I love nature but I not necessarily want to touch nature. But everyone (my friend and my brother) was doing it so obviously it couldn't be that horrible.... right? Wrong, wrong wrong...

When I told my friend in Arizona that I had poison (whatever) she asked how I got it (with a suggestive tone). Unfortunately I couldn't say that I got it while rolling around having wild sex in the glorious outdoors. Not that I didn't have fun climbing up rocks just to jump off of them into the water.

This weekend looms in front of me with the possibility of no plans. Just a vague possibility of actually hearing from PB. I have kind of given up hope on that though. I have made peace with the fact that I probably wont be repaid.

I have a small fear that, due to my inexperience, I am not that great at sex.

I am also getting ready to be hit by my monthly storm, Hurricane PMS. I always get such a "wonderful" assortment of side effects like flooding (tears), wind damage (irrational anger and irritation) and of course injuries (pain - in the boobs, sometimes I get random pinched nerves, headaches) and all of this before my period even arrives... yeah for women.

So all of this builds up to a pretty boring, blah, so so week.

I went to drop my son off at school today, I called and told them I was on my way, we were waaay late, but I wanted to let them know that we were coming, so I could still bring him (they have a policy of no let ins AFTER 10 am) well I got there to bring son in, and then stupid bitch ..I don't even know her damn title there, was

"I just got your message, but we really need him to be here earlier, because we have rules and they are for everybody, in case its like something crazy like your car breaking down, or a doctors appt, then we can no longer let you bring him in after 10, I don't want him to feel left out of the activities, we have volunteers here and they do fun activities with the kids and I don't want him to miss out"

I was just standing there shaking my head "uh huh" "yeah" but my mind was raging!

In reality, I am PMSing, and Im an aries which makes it alot worse! I wanted to grab her by her hair, throw her down, and stomp on her damn head telling her " you fucking bitch! do you have children? do you try to get out of the house daily with a two year old?" I wanted to do that just long enough for her to understand my point. I left, with an "okay" but a look of "you bitch" .

I kept thinking on the way back out to the car, who the fuck is she to tell me when I need to bring my son in? "fucking bitch, fucking bitch, fucking bitch"

oooh, I need to make a shirt that says "PMSing, back the fuck off!" so next time people will know better.

This blog is not for bipolar people only. Today I found out that someone who had been reading my blog didn't feel comfortable commenting because she does not consider herself bipolar. She may have been surprised to learn that I do not consider myself bipolar either. Though I say this again and again people do not remember it and in this case, unfortunately it kept someone, who clearly has keen insight into the issues this blog deals with from commenting. Of course I'm always picking up new readers as well and many people just look at my URL and assume I'm bipolar. Certainly many of you know this is an inclusive blog and many of my commenters do not identify as bipolar---many of you do as well.

And then, of course, there is the vast majority of my readers who leave no comments at all whom I know nothing about!! Come on out you lurkers. Would love to know who you are! Just know I greatly appreciate each and everyone of you even if you choose to never say a word.

This blog is documentation of my journey off psychiatric medications as well as an introduction to alternative forms of care for mental health disorders regardless of whether one is on medications, off medications, or coming off medications. This blog is not only for people with bipolar disorder. As I say in my “Undiagnosing Myself” post I do not believe I’m bipolar but I did for many years and I chose the url and original title of the blog to attract people who may have experiences like mine and believe themselves to be bipolar. This blog can also be for anyone who does identify bipolar or who identifies with any other psychiatric diagnosis. All diagnosis can potentially respond to natural treatments. It’s possible for anyone to consider life without medication. Oh, hello. I'm an emotional wrecking ball right now. Nothing major, just hormonal. ha.

Anyway, life will be good after this Monday. My summer classes will be over, and Friday the 1st Justin and I are heading out of town and down to Baltimore for a nice romantic getaway =) That Friday night I reserved for us to go on a crab feast night cruise, I'm seriously pumped for, and Justin and I both love seafood. It will be a nice little three day weekend for us.

August is actually looking to be pretty awesome. Justin, being the most amazing man ever, got us Journey tickets for the 16th!
yay! Seriously, if you haven't heard any of their new stuff yet, you're missing out. They have a new singer, as the original one is ill, but the new one is absolutely amazing. Honestly, unless you're an extreme Journey fan you would not even notice the difference. The new CD has one disk of all new songs, and the second disk is a re-recording of their classic hits, and they did a wonderful job! I seriously can't wait! August is full of concerts, Lori and I are going to see Poison on the 10th, and we're all heading to see Gretchen Wilson on the 20th. yay concerts =)

I've been looking for some local bands too. If anyone's in the Western PA, Eastern Ohio area and has some recommendations I'm all ears. I'd like to find some cheap outdoor concerts to go to before all this nice warm weather runs out on this poor Pennsylvania girl!
