La guerra ha cambiado, en el año de 2014 los hombres mas poderosos envian sus tropas ha combatir en el campo de batalla previamente seleccionado, peleando unicamente por sus intereses monetarios, cada uno de estos supersoldados cuenta con chips incrustados en sus cuerpos, la famosa nanotecnologia ya es una realidadincluso las armas solo respnden al dueño de tal, es una epoca donde un hombre llamado Liquid Ocelot ha reclutado a un colosal ejercito y ensamblado una nueva ola de Metal Gear's con los cuales esta dispuesto ha levantarse en armas en contra de las naciones unidas y poner en peligro la seguridad mundial, solo hay un hombre capaz de detenerlo y ese es David "Solid Snake" esta cansado y desilusionado del futuro que a escogido la humanidad, este viejo agente antes de morir, a jurado llevarse consigo todo el mal que han causado sus genes de aquel mitico soldado "Big Boss"

Hay que ponerse una vez mas de pie Snake, nunca te ha gustado que te llamen heroe, dices que nunca lo fuiste y es comprensible, esa palabra se queda muy corta para describir lo que eres, confiamos en ti, nuestra esperanza esta contigo, adelante mortifera y silenciosa serpiente.

Despues de 20 años de la saga, por fin las respuestas seran entregadas a los miles de seguidores de la serie, y es que desde sus inicios esta ha sido verdaderamente complicada, sus inicios comienzan con un joven espia con nombre codigo Naked Snake quien se infiltro en la selva para detener a su antigua maestra The Boss, al haber terminado con ella, todo fue un simple montaje del gobierno Americano.

Traicionando asi a The Boss solo para recuperar desde un inicio lo que era el Legado de los Filosofos, un grupo de lideres mundiales capaces de controlar los asuntos politicos de las naciones mas poderosas, Naked Snake aniquilando asi a su mentora recibe el titulo de Big Boss, el se aleja de todo lo que tenga que ver con el gobierno de Estados Unidos traicionando a su propio pais, aunque asi se ve al comienzo quien fue traicionado fue el mismo, alejandose asi a un lugar de Africa formando su propia nacion Outer Heaven.

Aqui viven sin ataduras de un gobierno y son entrenados a la conquista mundial,  en un experimento iniciado principalmente por el Comandante Zero para crear al soldado perfecto,  llamado Les Enfans Terribles con el ovulo de Eva una espia del Legado de los Filosofos quien ayudaria a Snake a cumplir su mision en contra del coronel Volgin y The Boss y el esperma de Big Boss crearon a 3 niños los cuales tendrian genes negativos, positivos y neutrales, los cuales nombraron Solid Snake, Liquid Snake y Solidus Snake.

Ahora Volviendo al juego original la nueva unidad de combate llamada The Beauty & Beast esta conformada por mujeres que sufrieron varios procesos traumaticos y fueron sometidas a tratamientos biologicos para desarrolar su psicosombria y convertirlas en armas mortiferas, asi mismo el comando Frogs esta diseñado para contrarestar a Ocelot, pero no todo son rostros nuevos, tambien vuelven viejos conocidos, como Vamp, Naomi, Meryl, el Coronel Cambell, Otacon y Raiden entre otros, ellos forman el balance entre el bien y el mal.

El camuflaje sigue tomando parte importante en el juego, el nuevo traje llamado OctoCamo tiene la habilidad de copiar cualquier textura la cual este siendo tocada, asi mismo incorpora la tecnologia Snake Eye, un visor que puede explorar el terreno a kilometros de distancia, colocar la vista en primera persona para hacer mas eficaces los disparos y detectar la señal de los enemigos, con estos nuevos elementos la aventura simplemente es sublime, MetalGear Solid 4 El arma de los Patriotas es sin duda un juego que marcara todo una epoca dispuesto a convertirse en todo un clasico detro de la industria de los videojuegos, con su adrenalina y su historia profunda y emotiva, siempre ha sido un parte aguas en la brecha cionematografica, Hideo Kojima se va dejando un juego de exelente calidad sera cierto que esta es la ultima aventura de Solid Snake pero no de la serie? aun no lo sabemos lo que si se es que Metal Gear Solid sin Snake no es Metal Gear.

I don't know why it is that I feel awkwardly hesitant to return to Melbourne. Sydney hasn't even wholly grown on me. That doesn't mean that it isn't a beautiful place. During the past two days, I've started to wonder why it is that I don't want to return to Melbourne. It's not the nightlife, or the people, or the sights or any of them those combined aspects of Sydney that's evoked this reluctancy to take flight home. It's the sense of freedom .. freedom from the daily commitments and routines that awaits me in Melbourne. This autonomy that surrounds me whilst I'm in Sydney is the most distinguishing pleasure that I'll sadly miss once I leave this city. The independence to go where I want to without mentally timelining and scheduling tasks of significance as I would in Melbourne. I'm going absolutely miss that.

You know what's the best thing about travelling as well? Sleeping in. The amount of sleep that my mate and I have accumulated here is staggering. In short, we've slept more than an average person would require.

Apart from that, I continued my shopping adventure today and for the second time, revisited Via Alley (http://www.viaalley.com). Back in Melbourne, I was only able to access their online catalogue and to personally visit their store was a personal milestone for me. I love their store. It's neat and very contemporary. They sell a reasonable array of items, from clothing to art books. Once my first visit of the store, I managed to spot Metal Gear Solid lego-like, small, collectable figurines. I was fucking spewing, in a good way of course! Metal Gear Solid is one of my favourite game series and I knew I just had to purchase these mini-sized toy characters. And that's what I did.

At first, I only bought two boxes. From these boxes, you can discover either Solid Snake, Ninja, Naked Snake, Old Snake or Raiden from the Metal Gear Solid series. I quickly opened the boxes when I walked outside the store. I now own Solid Snake and Naked Snake. I really wanted Raiden and Old Snake from the new Metal Gear Solid 4 game but I guess I wasn't lucky enough to catch them for myself. Because of this, I went back today for the store and bought another blind box and was distraught when I found another Naked Snake in the box. Sadness filled my heart and I started crying. LOL. Nah, that never happened but it would be a great pitch for a movie - "guy cries over not getting the toy figurines he wanted". Sounds sexy.

Whilst in the store, I also decided to buy a Music Mug - basically, a portable speaker that you connect you either your computer or mp3 player and it makes it more audible. It's pretty cute. The design is simple and uncomplicated. Just like a mug. Duh.

Frikken awesome! Oh by the way, If you're wondering what version my mp3 player is. I think it's a Sony Walkman NWD-B105F. Bought it for $80AUD. It also stores two gigabytes. I haven't had any troubles with it yet. Better stay that way.

Another thing that surprised me when I was in the store was finally meeting a person from Sydney who appeared to be genuinely nice. The store assistant at the counter and I talked for more than 10-20 minutes about video games. I felt comfortable and very happy to speak to someone that wasn't hostile like most of the people you encounter in Sydney. It was nice. Also, because we were friendly and very casual towards each other - I received a $5 discount of my purchase because I was "a cool guy". Haha. Just shows you that being friendly has its perks.

It seems probable now that I'm going to put myself through the horrors of enduring an all-nighter. I'm going to try to cherish the time I have left here and hopefully bring back a sense of revival when I return to Melbourne.

I'm going to have trouble putting into words what makes this game fantastic.

Metal Gear Solid 3 sees director Hideo Kojima perfecting the game's formula. The mixture of film styles and narratives that was introduced in MGS1 and overplayed in MGS2 now find perfect balance, creating a unique combination of real-world and fantasy elements. What is at first a seemingly formulaic sixties spy thriller becomes a strange animé mindfuck, Hollywood action movie and an emotional tale of love and retribution all at once.

The length and number of cutscenes may make Snake Eater seem like an interactive movie, but there is a suprisingly deep and tactical game of survival underneath. The game has a strange duality of realistic cutscenes and overly "gamey" gameplay, with the trademark "!" appearing over alerted soldiers, and enemies providing unlikely audio cues ("Wait, I thought I heard something over there!") to assist players. It is surprising how much tension is increased with the removal of the radar.

As for the cutscenes themselves, they are the best yet to be seen in the series. This can partly be attributed to the inclusion of not just one of the coolest videogame characters ever, but three. Naked Snake, Young Ocelot and The Boss possess such screen presence that it rivals that of Hollywood A-List'ers. The story that is told through these cutscenes is an incredibly involving, thrilling, and heartfelt tale of overzealous patriotism and bitter loss. The ending to this game is the best ending I have ever seen come out of this industry, period.

The only game that could even possibly hope to come close to achieving what Snake Eater has is Metal Gear Solid 4, but this remains to be seen.

Metal Gear Solid  - das Spiel von Hideo Kojima dreht sich um den Einzelkämpfer und Geheimagenten Solid Snake . Die Fans des Spieles warten seit Ewigkeiten darauf , das nun endlich die Legende des Solid Snakes in die Kinos kommt und endlich , so scheint es , ist damit nun bald zu rechnen . Produzent Michael De Luca scheint sehr  daran interessiert, dass Kurt Wimmer [Equilibrium , Resident Evil] das Drehbuch für den Film schreibt.

Hideo Kojima soll als Co Produzent mitwirken .....Wir sind alle gespannt , drücken fest die Daumen und üben uns weiterhin in Geduld ..auch wenn es noch so schwer fällt ....

Solange gibt es eben nur wieder ein schickes Musikvideo  aus dem mit Abstand besten Spielen aller Zeiten ....
