In the end, it could not be between the two. Yes, I'm being dead vague, but aren't I always like this anyway? But we have learned a lot of ourselves as people, human beings as it were, even things we didn't wish to know. Simply put; we rushed, we weren't ready. They say opposites attract, but we attracted far too much. So it turns out that neither of us wished the pain we brought to continue, neither did we wish to be attached to anyone else. But, on a lighter note, we have decided to keep in contact with one another and wished each other luck before gathering my things and parting the place I called a second home for good (but I won't forget the occupants, namely; S_____, M___, B__ and one who had a place within me once, I___). I remember giving I___ several hugs before I left. I remember what I___ said: "Go on, Get!" before I left and also "Good luck to you", etc, which I responded with, "You too." The Moneyshot Horns played 89K last night and completely reconfirmed their position as the hottest gang of funk on this island, and strong contenders for hottest anywhere. Whether they play their original songs or jam the ass off classic funk covers ala James Brown, this band has emerged from outta nowhere to peel your ears off with ultra-tight, soulful playing that defies sitting still. You will dance. You will not be able to help yourself.

These cats can all play, and they each demonstrate their individual skill with tasty breaks and fills throughout the night. Yet as good as they all are, the whole is greater than the sum of the parts. There is something extra special about the way these boys play together - you can feel the joy, and the joy becomes funk, and the funk makes you move. There wasn't a weak moment from walking in to pouring myself into a taxi long after it was all over. Even the warm-up; the tuning at the beginning of the set is funky, as one after another picks up the line and it develops into a no-holds barred bit of jump back, kiss m'self.

Sooner or later, The Moneyshot Horns are gonna bust loose of this island and everyone's gonna know about them. Then you won't be able to see them in small nightclubs in Taiwan anymore. My advice: Get off your ass and jam, now...while the jammin' is good, cheap, up close and personal. Years from now, you'll be able to tell people, "I saw The Moneyshot Horns in a small club in Taiwan." No one will believe you. Might as well tell 'em you were at Woodstock.

 At an auction in Edinburough, Scotland 35 original poems of noted bad poet William Topaz McGonagall has out sold Harry Potter at an auction. A collector paid $12,840 for the self published 1890's work. This proves that if you do something badly, it can still be profitable. Unfortuantely you'll have to be dead for it to come to pass. The price paid beat out a collection of incribed Harry Potter books which were sold at the same auction for $12,000. McGonagall's lack of talent was matched only by his delusion and ego. Along with the 35 poems were a portfolio of posters and two copies of his rather short autobiography - "dedicated to himself, knowing none greater." McGonagall was so bad that he kept an umbrella with him during recitals to shield him from all the rotten tomatoes that were thrown at him. Ah, poetry lovers. The buyer has remained anonymous because he doesn't want the ridicule of being identified as a fan. Personally, I'd be proud to show that I have a collection of the worst poetry known to mankind, but then, I like the Rocky Horror Picture show.

MAN TRIES TO SELL WIFE ON EBAY

Want to pick up a used...wife? High milage. Paul Osborn, a UK man, has tried to get rid of his wife by posting her for auction on Ebay! It's official, you really can find anything on Ebay. Osborn found out his wife, Sharon was cheating on him with a co-worker. It was Osborn's way of letting the world know she was an adulterous, lying, cheating, well, you get the idea. In the listing he suggest that people not bid on her as she's apparently not worth diddly in his opinion. I can't say as I blame him. He also has given out the name of her lover, Richard Drew who is also married along with his address, and phone number. Ebay was rather prompt in taking the auction down, probably because they weren't going to make anything on the auction. Minimum bid, a pence. If he would have been able to complete the auction, it might have saved him some divorce costs. I wish I'd have thought of this for my Ex.

CHARLES BARKLEY GAMBLING DEBT

Wow, former NBA star Charles Barkley owes a casino in Vegas $400,000! Now I'm sure athletes are overpaid. People jump out of windows for things like that. The casino has made repeated calls to Barkley trying to get the debt paid, but he didn't respond. It took a call from the local prosecutor to get him to own up. He now says he'll pay the debt since he's "not broke." Did he think they were just going to forget about it? People have ended up in umarked graves for less. Over the years Barkley estimates he's gambled away over $10 million. "Do I have a gambling problem? Yeah, I do have a gambling problem," Barkley said. "But i don't consider it a problem because I can afford to gamble." Well, not paying your debts makes it look like you can't afford it. Just remember if a couple of guys named Guido start hanging around, you HAVE a problem.

 Do you drink alone? Do you prefer to be by yourself? Well, the Russians have come up with a cure for that. it's the vodka bottle that talks back. The BBC is reporting that Russians are about to begin marketing a brand of vodka with a bottle that talks. I've always felt that if my bottle is talking, it's time to go home. Welcome to the alcoholically induced world of microprocessors. You've got to love those crazy Russians. Yes, now you can have a drinking buddy in a bottle. Apparently when ever you open the top, it's the top that talks, it will offer a variety of Russian toasts and encourage you to drink up. Personally I've never needed much encouragement. Now here's the fun part. The more the top is opened the more the bottle's speech becomes slurred. Yes your bottle gets drunk with you. The perfect date.  When the bottle's empty, you've outdrank your buddy. Hopefully he's not the one driving home.

According to the Fifth Annual Global Software Piracy Study, released by Business Software Alliance (BSA), the piracy related losses have gone down to $125 million in Pakistan against $143 million in 2006.

Pakistan currently ranks No.13 among the top 25 countries with highest piracy rates as opposed to its standing at No. 7 from last last year, followed by Armenia (93%), Bangladesh (92%), Azerbaijan (92%),Moldova (92%), Zimbabwe (91%), Sri Lanka (90%), Yemen (89%),Libya (88%), Venezuela (87%), Vietnam (85%), Iraq (85%), and Indonesia (84%)

This was the first time that I got to watch the whole movie. Before I only watched the first half of the movie and I really liked it. So when it was on again, I was looking forward to getting a chance to watch the movie again.

Not only did I enjoy watching James Stewart's performance as Glenn Miller, I enjoyed listening to the music of the Glenn Miller Orchestra.

Some of the songs that were in the movie were:

Disclaimer: I am not a fan of Miley. My attraction to the three seconds of one of her singles is purely coincidental; it could have been any song by any artist.

The past episode of Macross Frontier with Sheryl's concert leading to the end credit is one recent example. Searching through my iTune library, I found a few other scenes that had captivated me due to the background theme song.

Gundam SEED: Akatsuki no Kuruma by FictionJunction Yuuka

The Gundam franchise has certainly plenty of such scenes. The most memorable one for me is the escape of Kira Yamato & friends and the self-destruction of ORBS after the leader had sent his daughter off to the escape pod.

The song itself would've stood strong on its own, but coupled with this scene it became immortal. The slow and melancholic beginning aligns with the heavy mood of an impending invasion. Then the song grows stronger and stronger as the enemy presses on, and picks up speed as the shuttle increases its own speed in racing to outer space. I couldn't not get this scene and the music out of my head for weeks.

Asatte no Houkou: Kasa by suara

This heartbreaking scene details a flashback to a painful memory of the main character's past when she lost both her parents to a car accident and then became a burden to her brother. Even though I already knew of her past, my tears still could not be kept in its place when I watched this scene.

This is the song that introduced me to the artist suara. She then went on to a few other memorable songs in anime including her hit song Kimi ga Tame in Utawarerumono.

School Days: Kanashimi no Mukou e by Kanako Itou

Who can forget this jaw-dropping, face-twitching, WTF-is-wrong-with-these-ppl scene? As if being cancelled just hours before airing because some crazy duddete decided to play sharp objects near her dad's neck wasn't signaling us what was installed already, we all had already watched the Youtube clips on the game's original gruesome endings and were looking forward to it. But yet, this scene shocked me beyond expectation---I still shook a bit every time I see a girl handling sharp objects.

The water bottle seems to whistle endlessly. Then a pause. The theme cues in. And the sound of flesh tearing. More whistling. The music fades for the dialog between Seikai and Kotonoha before it cues in the blood-gushing, gut-busting scene.

Gundam SEED: Vestige by T.M.Revolution

Every time I walked to a midterm or a final, I would played this song over and over again on my iPod. It pumped me up. Just like Kira in this scene, I was down from the last exam but now I was going to pick up my fight once more. Bakaneko, ikimasu!

This year we've went to all the bother of learning a brand new tune to add to the 3 we already know. And it's a storming version of Trace (but he's a bloke) Adkins 'Honky Tonk Badonkadonk'. How can you go wrong with lyrics like;

what should i say, what should i write, i dunno...this is so confusing! once i thought it might not working, but sometimes i feel guilty if i doubted him. my advise, dont take a risk for having long distance relationship, especially when you're not married yet. even if you have married, anything could happen. mis-understanding, mis-communication, the passion to be with your partner, the need to be together with him, so many problems!

i dunno what happen with the man, he didnt contact me at all. i feel he's changed. he never reply my text message, but he always apologize when i called him. i dunno what to say. i didnt mean to doubted him, i trusted him since the first time and until this very second time. I'm not asking for his calls everyday, i just want him to share...tell me what's going on with you there! even if i'm not there, i cant hug him when he's down or when he's happy, but i wanted to be included in his life. is it wrong if i'm asking for at least, send me text message as it wont take more than 5 minutes of his time just because i care about him?? i love him so much...
