<p>สัญญาล่วงหน้าน้ำมันดิบชนิดไลต์สวีตครูดของสหรัฐฯ งวดส่งมอบเดือนพฤศจิกายน ร่วงกราวรูดถึง 8.89 ดอลลาร์ ปิดที่ 77.70 ดอลลาร์ต่อบาร์เรล ขณะที่น้ำมันดิบเบรนต์ทะเลเหนือของลอนดอน ดิ่งลง 8.57 ดอลลาร์ ปิดที่ 74.09 ดอลลาร์ต่อบาร์เรล สืบเนื่องจากผู้ค้าตื่นตระหนกกับตลาดหุ้นโลกที่ร่วงลงอย่างรุนแรง</p>
<p>"ความเป็นไปได้ที่เศรษฐกิจโลกในอนาคตจะถดถอย ส่งผลกระทบต่อราคาน้ำมันโดยตรง" นักวิเคราะห์จากธนาคารดอยซ์แบงก์กล่าว "ความเสื่อมลงเรื่อยๆของจีดีพี(ผลิตภัณฑ์มวลรวมภายในประเทศ)ในภายภาคหน้า อาจจุดชนวนให้ราคาน้ำมันลดต่ำลง" เขากล่าวต่อและคาดหมายว่าราคาน้ำมันอาจดิ่งลงถึงระดับ 60 ดอลลาร์ต่อบาร์เรล</p>
<p>12 ชาติสมาชิกของกลุ่มโอเปก แถลงเมื่อวันพฤหัสบดี(9) ว่าจะจัดประชุมฉุกเฉินที่เวียนนา ในวันที่ 18 พฤศจิกายน เพื่อหารือถึงผลกระทบที่ได้รับจากวิกฤตการเงินของโลก</p>
<p>ขณะที่ทบวงการพลังงานระหว่างประเทศ หรือไออีเอ ได้เตือนเช่นกันว่าภัยคุกคามของความถดถอยทางเศรษฐกิจและวิกฤตทางการเงินจะ กัดเซาะดีมานด์น้ำมันและสร้างความเสียหายให้กับการลงทุนในบ่อน้ำมันใหม่ๆ</p>
<p>ในการประชุมครั้งล่าสุดของโอเปกเมื่อวันที่ 9-10 กันยายนที่ผ่านมา ทางกลุ่มได้ตัดสินใจลดกำลังผลิตลง 520,000 บาร์เรลต่อวัน เพื่อรั้งให้ราคาน้ำมันอยู่เหนือ 100 ดอลลาร์ต่อบาร์เรล ทว่าตั้งแต่นั้นราคาน้ำมันก็ดิ่งลงเรื่อยๆ</p>
<p>ขณะเดียวกันรายงานประจำเดือนของไออีเอ ลดประมาณการความต้องการใช้น้ำมันในปี 2008 ลง 240,000 บาร์เรลต่อวัน และในปี 2009 ลง 440,000 บาร์เรลต่อวัน ไออีเอคาดความต้องการใช้น้ำมันโลกในปีนี้จะอยู่ที่ 86.5 ล้านบาร์เรลต่อวัน และในปีหน้าจะอยู่ที่ 87.2 ล้านบาร์เรลต่อวัน</p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Say what you want, Tampa Bay is a good team that has had an extraordinary season. They are young, athletic and have a ton of potential. They deserve a lot of credit for keeping the intensity up until the end of the season and finishing with 97 wins, and this will be a great series to watch. And now for the comparison:</p>
<p><!--more--><strong>Offense</strong></p>
<p>Boston is just better here, without question. They scored a ton more runs, even without Manny Ramirez in the lineup. The Rays will have to rely on the long ball in addition to pitching and defense if they want to outscore Boston in this series. Both teams run the bases well, and have stolen a lot of bases off each other this year, so good baserunning and avoiding big mistakes is a must. Even with the injuries, the Sox have slightly better positional depth on the bench too.</p>
<p><strong>Rotation</strong></p>
<p>If Josh Beckett is healthy, the advantage goes to the Red Sox here. With Jon Lester pitching the way he has, who can compete with two playoff-tested aces? But if Beckett is not right, I have to say that the Rays have ever so slight an advantage here. Playoff experience be damned, James Shields, Matt Garza, Scott Kazmir and Andy Sonnanstine is a good short series rotation. Garza will have to throw strikes under pressure, and Sonnanstine will have to keep the ball down, but this bunch can prevent a lot of runs.</p>
<p><strong>Bullpen</strong></p>
<p>Both bullpens are well above average, but for different reasons. The Sox employ Jonathan Papelbon, Hideki Okajima, and Justin Masterson primarily as 8th and 9th inning guys, with Manny Delcarmen and Masterson sharing 7th inning duties. The Rays have a lot of live arms, most notably Grant Balfour, J.P. Howell and David Price in middle relief. Dan Wheeler is a solid, if unspectacular closer. The way the bullpens perform will depend a lot on how deep the Sox starters can go. If Beckett is not himself, they could be in trouble in this series. If Boston gets six innings out of Daisuke Matsuzaka and seven from Lester and Beckett, Tampa Bay will be the one in trouble. Patrick Sullivan raises an interesting point about <a href="http://baseballanalysts.com/archives/2008/10/soxrays.php">skill distribution</a> on these two teams.</p>
<p><strong>Defense</strong></p>
<p>Lots of writers are giving the Rays the advantage here, but I just don't buy it. The Red Sox defense is every bit as good, and better by some measures (such as BP's <a href="http://www.baseballprospectus.com/article.php?articleid=7969">park-adjusted defensive efficiency</a>). The reason you don't hear about the Sox defense is because the Rays' good defense is new, and been a big key to their success this season. Boston's excellent defense is in a post-hype period, but all you have to do is look at this year's ALDS to be impressed. Given the absence of Mike Lowell, I'm willing to call this one even.</p>
<p><strong>Overall</strong></p>
<p>I am really looking forward to this series, because it truly does pit the two best teams from the AL this season against each other. They pitch well, play good defense and overall play the game right. Get ready for some nail-biting, electric baseball. I expect this series to go out to 6 or 7 games, and I do think the Red Sox are in the driver's seat (barely), though it could fall either way based on a few key plays.</p>
<p>I should mention that I think the Rays overachieved some this year, and I don't see them being quite as good in 2009. They can't count on Dioner Navarro hitting .295 every year or 20 HR from Eric Hinske or their 4th and 5th starters to be league average. They'll still be good, but just not 97 wins good.</p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Na <a href="http://www.goldenline.pl/" target="_blank">Goldenline.pl</a> w grupie TOP Manager wszczęła się ciekawa dyskusja  w poście pod tytułem "Jak "zostać" menadżerem..?".  Gość, który  podpisuje się jako "Kierownik, AVANS POŁUDNIE Sp.z o.o" zainteresował się  funkcją agenta  prowadzącego kariere osoby ze świata muzyki, sportu. Właściwie sam nie wiem jak nazywa się stanowisko takiej osoby. Cała sprawa poszła o niedokładne sprecyzowanie  tematu  i treści wypowiedzi. Niby celem Goldenline.pl jest pomaganie sobie nawzajem, wymianą doświadczeń etc. a tu padła na biednego gościa  fala krytyki i szyderstw typu "czytając Twoją wypowiedź mam prozaiczne pytanie patrząc na treść, emocje i składnie Twojej wypowiedzi, ADHD czy zespół Nadpobudliwości Psychomotorycznej??". Ktoś inny słusznie zauważył, że  jeżeli chcemy zainteresować się jakąś dziedziną to szukamy na jej temat informacji i pytamy.  Przecież do tego ma też służyć forum internetowe. Fakt faktem załóżyciel topicu dosyć chaotycznie zadał pytania ale jeżeli chce się pomóc takiej osobie to należy poprosić o sprecyzowanie pytania.  To tyle streszczenia całej sprawy. Ludzie którzy poświęcili swój czas jedynie na krytyke tego biednego człowieka to dorośli, wykrztałceni i obejmujący ważne stanowiska w dużych korporacjach grube ryby. To może świadczy jak agresywną strategie objeli, aby dojść do takich szczebli. Zapisani w grupach jako specjaliści danej dziedziny dalej stosują taktyke dojścia po trupach do celu. Wygląda to jak podkładanie nóg tym mniej doświadczonym, żeby tylko nie zostali zrzuceni ze swojego stołka.<br />
Przeraża mnie fakt iż będę musiał się zmierzyć z takimi korporacyjnymi tłuściochami.<br />
Zakładając tego bloga chciałem  właśnie poprawić się w pisaniu i wypowiadaniu się, aby nikt nie zarzucał  mi takich problemów jak założycielowi omawianego powyżej przeze mnie topicu.</p>
<p>Jednym z głównych moich problemów, a może to tylko to jest zagadnieniem wymagającym rozwiązania, jest zarządzanie czasem. Potrafie marnotrawić go niezwykle skutecznie. Wszelkie próby planowania dnia, zasiadania do wyznaczonego sobie zadania kończą się fiaskiem. Teraz szukam rozwiązania bądź motoru który pomoże mi funkcjonować.</p>
<p>W tej chwili pisząc ten post opieram ręcę o książkę, notatki i ćwiczenia z ekonomii.</p>
<p>Otwieram "Jednominutowego milionera" i z nim spedzę resztę wieczoru.</p>

(könnte ich  mir vorstellen) Auch Arbeit wird es in diesem Maße nicht mehr geben,  also die Verabschiedung vom unmenschlichen Harz IV wäre auch eine Folge dieser Krise - bin ich der Meinung! </strong></p>
<p>Auch die Gewinnzahlen der Wirtschaft wurden mit hochgejubelt, die Politiker gingen immer vom starken Wachstum aus. Das reale Wachstum entspricht aber nicht der realen Wirtschaft, die der Bürger selber erlebt. Denn die Realität ist die Verarmung, eines sehr großen Teils der Bevölkerung. Daher waren die  Arbeitslosenzahlen bisher nur Blendwerk der Medienmacher, Politiker, Wirtschaftspropheten, und Banker. Diese Realität  sieht schon lange danach aus, das es eben abwärts geht muss - <span style="text-decoration:underline;">da braucht man keine Experte zu sein!</span></p>
<p>Einer der Faktoren ist eben die <strong>"Profitgier"</strong>, <span style="color:#ff0000;"><strong>Nachhaltigkeit</strong></span> gibt es schon lange in vielen Bereichen nicht mehr - dies nicht nur auf dem Börsenpaket sondern in vielen Bereichen in unserer Gesellschaft die man durch <strong>Hirnloser Gier</strong> zu lasten unserer ganzen Gemeinschaft die uns in die dies Krise gebracht hat. Dieser Prozess geht aber schon viele Jahre und Jahrzehnte, das versteht sogar jeder der im realen Leben steht, und sich etwas Gedanken macht über unser Land. Man muss kein Politiker, Idealist , Ideologe, Fanatiker sein, um zu verstehen das nun bald eine Grundeinkommen für alle eine gerechte Alternative sein muss. Wie will man künftig die vielen Arbeitslosen die gewiss durch die jetzige Krise kommen wird, überleben lassen? Mit Harz IV?             <strong>Harz IV ist etwas für unsere erfolglosen Manager und Politiker, oder anderen Finanzjongleure, aber für die Bürger ist es Häme und Ausblutung per Gesetzt.</strong></p>
<p>Nur einamal kurz Nachgedacht, dies hängt aber auch an der Lage legasthenen Menschen, denn den o.g. Personenkreisen haben wir auch die schlechte "Chancengleichheit" zu verdanken!</p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Nella tempesta finanziaria avviata dall'insolvenza dei mutui americani <em>subprime</em>, con le loro conseguenze sull'andamento delle borse americane e mondiali, seguita dal fallimento di un colosso come Leham Brothers e dal salvataggio <em>in extremis</em> di banche specializzate in credito al consumo, anche l'apparentemente imperturbabile Fortis ha rischiato di crollare senza l'intervento pubblico. Con Fortis tante altre banche.</p>
<p>Nel <em>mare magnum</em> di queste cattive novelle, in Italia si scopre non solo che il comparto bancario in Borsa è in crisi da più di un anno, ma non per i mutui <em>subprime</em>. L'esposizione sarebbe "trascurabile".</p>
<p>Banca d'Italia ha annunciato che le prime tre banche italiane (Unicredit, Banca Intesa, Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena) hanno un tier 1 ratio inferiore  a 6,00; il patrimonio di vigilanza, che è il termometro della stabilità e dell'equilibrio finanzario tra varie poste (in particolare mezzi propri ed impieghi), soffre e significa che queste banche hanno qualche difficoltà a concedere credito perchè non avrebbero mezzi propri (liquidità, depositi) a sufficienza. Al terzetto si associa anche Banco Popolare.</p>
<p style="text-align:center;"><!--more--></p>
<p>Profumo ha recentemente dichiarato che molti dei guai di Unicredit non dipendono nè dai <em>subprime</em> nè da Lehman Brothers. Non ci sarebbe dunque una pista internazionale. Azzardato sarebbe stato l'acquisto di Capitalia di Geronzi, sia perchè troppo costoso, sia perchè la banca capitolina recava in dote una serie di crediti di dubbio esito positivo.</p>
<p>Montepaschi, che non produce prodotti finanziari collegati a Lehman, ha recentemente acquistato Antonveneta, ad un prezzo superiore a quello reale (9 miliardi al posto di 7 al massimo). Effetto diluitivo del valore delle azioni e della banca; aumento di capitale riuscito ma il Montepaschi è ancora lì a dover reperire la differenza per pagare Antonveneta e riequilibrarsi finanziariamente.</p>
<p>Eventi internazionali a parte, comunque importanti e a volte decisivi, la crisi di molte banche italiane si è giocata in casa ai tempi del "risiko bancario", orchesrato dai principali esponenti di destra e sinistra e dal'allora Governatore della Banca d'Italia, Fazio. "Non passa lo straniero!". E così fu. Il sistema italiano doveva vedere poche grosse banche che potessero resistere ai tentativi di acquisto dei colossi stranieri.</p>
<p>Da qui operazioni di acquisto non sempre chiare e "di mercato": il protezionismo indusse taluno a vendere alla banca più grossa il "gioiellino di famiglia"  ad un prezzo superiore a quello effettivo, speculandoci.</p>
<p>Oggi il governo, oltre che rafforzare le garanzie per i depositi bancari, ha previsto, nei confronti delle banche in difficoltà finanziarie e particolarmente verso quelle citate segnate da un ridotto patrimonio di vigilanza, di acquistare dalle stesse azioni privilegiate senza diritto di voto - per poterne rafforzare il capitale - in cambio delle dimissioni del management.</p>
<p>Ma non si tratta poi, a ben vedere, proprio dei manager che hanno eseguito il piano "le banche italiane agli italiani", piano orchestrato nelle varie stanze dei bottoni ?</p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p class="MsoNormal">Gracias al libro que estoy leyendo últimamente me estoy cuestionando mucho mi actitud y la de todo mi entorno y he empezado a darme una serie de consejos que considero mínimos para poder convertirme en un manager solvente. El primer consejo fue sobre <a href="http://managementfromscratch.wordpress.com/2008/10/03/aprende-a-no-decir-ni-que-no-ni-que-si/">negociar</a> y este es sobre delegar, aquí va:</p>

<p class="MsoNormal">¿Crees que cuando delegas estás soltando un marrón? O ¿Crees que cuando alguien delega te está soltando un marrón?</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Si respondes "sí" a alguna de estás preguntas, deberías preguntarte:</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Para la primera pregunta ¿Se delegar? y para la segunda ¿Sabe mi superior en que estoy interesado y cuales son las metas profesionales que quiero alcanzar?</p>

<li><!--[if !supportLists]-->Confianza porque delegar implica que confías en esa persona para hacer la tarea, pero esta confianza debe ser bidireccional, así que no tires por la borda la confianza de esa persona haciendo microgestión, preguntando constantemente por la tarea o pidiendo muestras para ver como va, no cuestiones el como sino el resultado.</li>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><a href="http://aintnounionshop.files.wordpress.com/2008/10/ubuntu-logo.jpg"><img class="alignleft size-medium wp-image-105" title="ubuntu-logo" src="http://aintnounionshop.wordpress.com/files/2008/10/ubuntu-logo.jpg?w=300" alt="" width="210" height="192" /></a>I've recently switched my laptop from Windows XP to Ubuntu (about 4 months ago) because of all of the great things I've been hearing about Linux and Ubuntu.  When I first switched, I was weary about how complex it might be and what kind of challenges I might encounter trying to do common tasks.  To be honest, if I didn't have a friend that knew how to run Linux via command line or the GUI, I would have abandoned my quest for Linux knowledge.  Its not that Ubuntu was all that hard to use, it just that it was DIFFERENT.</p>
<p>Maybe this is just a sign of age (i'm only 22) or maybe I just grew too attached to XP.  I'm guessing its the latter of the two.  But once I got l the ittle things ironed out, like installing the correct flash package through synaptic package manager (I originally downloaded a flash package that blocked all flash objects on webpages, which pissed me off!), Ubuntu began to grow on me. For the record, I'm am still using XP on my XPS410 desktop mainly for compatibility and as a reference (I'm a computer tech).<br />
It ran smoothly, quickly and rarely froze.  Some of the features that I liked:</p>
<p><strong>Graying out of windows</strong></p>
<p>When a program freezes or takes longer to respond than normal, the window will turn gray.  I find this to be a nice feature mainly because it lets you know that something is hung-up in the program.  Whereas in Windows when you click something you and it takes a while to load, you're not sure whether it froze or is running slowly.  And I know from experience if you try to click a frozen window it just whites out and you have a hell of a time closing it.</p>
<p><strong>Synaptic Package Manager</strong></p>
<p>This handy little tool pretty much allows you to download and install almost every program, plugin, etc... that is meant for Ubuntu.  Its really simple, just open it up, search for what you want, download, and install.  Its a pretty sweet deal!</p>
<p><strong>FREE $$$$$</strong></p>
<p>Everything is free!  For you who do not know, Ubuntu can be downloaded free of charge <a title="here" href="http://www.ubuntu.com/getubuntu/download" target="_blank">here</a>!  Simply download the ISO file and burn it to a CD and viola! You're good to go.</p>
<p>If you're still weary about whether or not you want to make the switch to Ubuntu, you can try it out without installing it on your computer.  Just put the Ubuntu CD into your computer and restart and boot from the CD.  Ubuntu will then ask you for a language and whether or not you want to try it out or install it.</p>

<p>L'11 ottobre comincerà ufficialmente la <strong>raccolta delle firme contro il Lodo Alfano</strong>. Promotore dell'iniziativa è il partito senza macchia e senza paura di <strong>Antonio "Savonarola" Di Pietro</strong>, sempre in prima fila quando si tratta di denunciare le magagne berlusconesche, ma stitico di anatemi quando gli schizzi di fango colpiscono gli esponenti dei suo partito.</p>
<p>Delle <strong>contraddizioni</strong> che caratterizzano Italia dei Malori, ops dei Valori, il primo ad avere qualche difficoltà a parlarne è proprio l'elettore principe <strong>Marco “don Chisciotte” Travaglio</strong> nei suoi soliloqui ad <strong>Annozero</strong>. Sull’argomento mi sono già espresso nel post <a href="http://malarablog.wordpress.com/2008/09/28/non-e-tutto-travaglio-quello-che-luccica/" target="_blank">Non è tutto Travaglio quello che luccica</a>.</p>
<p>Che il Lodo Alfano sia l'ennesima <strong>legge <em>ad personam</em></strong> per togliere dagli impicci Silvio &#38; Co. è fuori dubbio. Ma prima di attaccare gli altri è bene spulciare tra gli affari di casa propria, anche se, come accade spesso, è di gran lunga più facile guardare la <strong>pagliuzza negli occhi degli altri</strong> che la trave nelle proprie pupille.</p>
<p>Qualche esempio? Ovviamente non possiamo che partiare dal <strong>Consiglio regionale più inquisito d'Italia</strong>, ovvero quello calabrese, dove c'è il dipietrista <strong>Maurizio Feraudo</strong> che è stato indagato per concussione, per aver preteso la corresponsione di parte dello stipendio del suo autista, e di truffa per domande di rimborso su missioni mai compiute.</p>
<p>Feraudo, però, non è l'unica mosca bianca (o nera) in IdV. <strong>L’elenco prosegue </strong>con:</p>
<p style="padding-left:60px;">- <strong>Gaetano Vatiero</strong> (segretario cittadino di IdV a Caserta) arrestato nel 2006 per corruzione aggravata;<br />
- <strong>Paride Martella</strong> (ex forzista ora in quota IdV) arrestato per tangenti nel gennaio 2008. Ex presidente della Provincia di Latina, Martella è stato arrestato per gli appalti truccati dell’Acqua Latina, truffò 15 milioni di euro, indagato per concussione e associazione mafiosa;<br />
- <strong>Andrea Proto</strong> (consigliere comunale a Genova) condannato per aver raccolto la firma di un morto;<br />
- <strong>Gustavo Garifo</strong> (anche lui esponente genovese di IdV) arrestato perchè arraffava i soldi delle multe;<br />
- <strong>Orazio Schiavone</strong> (assessore foggiano) condannato per esercizio abusivo della professione di odontoiatra;<br />
- <strong>Aldo Michele Radice</strong> (portavoce di IdV in Basilicata e consigliere dell'ex ministro Di Pietro) alla sbarra dal 2006. Il Pm ha chiesto per lui 9 mesi per una storia simile a quella di lady Mastella: la raccomandazione di un manager sanitario;<br />
- E in ultimo (ma non per demeriti, anzi), c’è un certo <strong>Leoluca Orlando</strong> (attuale portavoce nazionale di IdV). Indagato nel 1996 per corruzione aggravata e condannato nel 2005 per diffamazione aggravata.</p>
<p>E siccome Italia dei Valori non si fa mancare nulla, tra i suoi adepti c’è anche un <strong>tesserato P2</strong>. Si tratta del maggiore <strong>Giuseppe (detto Pino) Aleffi</strong>, candidato in Sardegna alle elezioni del 2006, in possesso della <strong>tessera numero 762</strong> della loggia di Licio Gelli. Di questo se ne sono accorti anche i <strong>grillini</strong> (leggi <a href="http://beppegrillo.meetup.com/boards/view/viewthread?thread=1777070" target="_blank">qui</a>).</p>
<p>Ora, <strong>come sbotterebbe il buon Tonino nazionale </strong>(vedi video in apertura, da non perdere): <em>«È vero o non è vero»</em> che Italia dei Valori non è poi così diverso da tutti gli altri partiti? <em>«E se è vero</em> - direbbe ancora Di Pietro - <em>questo sarebbe un fatto di una gravità inaudida che andrebbe denuniato»</em>. <em><strong>(do.mal.)</strong></em></p>

<p><strong>The Good</strong><br />
It's a senior and visible role at a serious company, one of Canada's banks.   And yet, despite the big banking environment, this posting doesn't read like a list of boring business buzzwords, which is itself impressive.  Scotia has a good rep. as a place to work in awards.  The pay is decent, if the recruiters are to be believed.</p>
<p><strong>The Bad</strong><br />
There are some holes in the information.  What are the technologies in place at Scotia?  While you might not be coding regularly or, likely, at all, your ability to effectively manage those who do might be hampered if you're unfamiliar with the technology.  Where would you be working?  What's the compensation like?  What processes are used here?  What's the team like?  What would you be working on?  Would there be travel involved?</p>
<p><strong>YMMV</strong><br />
Your mileage may vary when it comes to taking a job for a financial institution during the Great Credit Crunch of 2008.  Scotia is <a href="http://finance.google.com/finance?q=TSE:BNS">down 18% YTD</a> as of this writing, although as far as I know, they're not suffering, other than in stock price.  The next few years will be interesting times in banking.</p>
<p><strong>In Summary</strong><br />
It's a pretty senior role for a well-known bank.</p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Seven months ago I walked in a Webster Groves Starbucks to meet with an Emcee of a band to book them for a music fest and I walked out with a job offer. "So why don't you help us?", I remember Larry looking me square in my eyes asking. I walked out of that Starbucks knowing his offer was not one I could accept nor lend any of my already strained time the consideration. Who would? I was vice president at a real estate aquisition firm with offices in Florida and California. I was pushing my way to seeking higher, newer investors and all I wanted was to start traveling to other countries to yield more clients and more success for my family. Yeah right I had time for the Illphonics.</p>
<p>As I pushed further with the music festival, work and motherhood the Illphonics kept irking me. I went three sometimes four times a day to listen to their music on the myspace page for a week and a half. I proposed to my friends whether I had the strength to deal with the slightest of rejection that music promises to offer. With success at my occupation all was well in the world of Nena. I mean I was feeling high. Any person or situation able to defunct that was moved, pushed or blown out of my way. Yet I couldn't stop going back to that damned myspace page.</p>
<p>I called Larry, "Lets feel each other out. Make sure we are a good fit for each other."</p>
<p>And so it began my affair with music was no longer an indiscretion I had to hide from my ex-husband who detested my choices in music or my boss and co-workers who couldn't imagine me outside of my sheer pantyhose and four inch work pumps. I got to be the music fiend I was and I got to shoot up in public. Who'd have it any other way.</p>
<p>I knew from "yes" it'd be fun but I also knew it'd be hard. I can do hard like no other. God has handed me some amazing trials and I've made some amazing choices to get through them. Not all my choices easy. I knew it'd be exhausting. Hell I can do exhausting. The 18 days of 12 hour shifts back at the hospital just so I could keep up with life taught me exhaustion. Waking up four and five times in the night to breast feed and never fully recovering from labor was exhaustion. I knew I'd grow weary. Again, I know the feeling of weary. Days upon days studying for written exams and then not passing with flying colors was weariness. I'd have to deal with failure. Having my boyfriend at the time look down at me wondering why I couldn't pass a test so "easy" was failure, painted all over my face and mocked in my soul. There was not a circumstance I believed that could be thrown at me that I couldn't fix and make right for these guys. Then God, with his humor and satirical game plans handed me to the Illphonics. </p>
<p>I have had little support from folks on my choice to spend my free time with, "a bunch of kids who want a dream every kid wants." I in fact can count on one hand how much support I have to fulfill this desire of mine. Many conversations started with, "you still working with that music?" Really rhetorical because my answer was always dismissed for "better" conversation. </p>
<p>I continue on through whirlwinds of obstacles, broken contractual agreements, dismissive personalities and the ever so pushy music industry buff, "get me now while I'm affordable." The Illphonics has wavered through biased ears, politics, and folks who just refuse to pay their end. It is in these times when agitation and angst fills them I feel a responsibility to work harder, make them happier, show them how to fulfill their needs so they can fulfill their dreams. As I move along in this journey I realize that my hard work can only be that, my own hard work. I've been brought down in the past two weeks to a reality of life, I can only do what I can do. There is however this indescribable churning that happens in the deepest part of my chest when I hear them play that allows me to be nowhere else, thinking of nothing else except getting the feeling of the music upon the masses. The deep stirring, so hard yet invited, is what connects me to the dream of each of them. That stirring is what makes me cry so heavily for each of them to be successful as human beings contributing success in their personal lives to success in their band. </p>
<p>Illphonics growth as a band has been remarkable. Their growth as individuals is even more amazing to watch. I get the chore of hearing the gripes and ailments of the growing pains but I get to see six young guys find there way into manhood and music. Daily I watch their outside behavior not resonate with their inner being. Daily I get to watch the two reckon with each other to form and create these new men ready for life and ready for growth. </p>
<p>God has blessed me with many things. I have chosen many roads; easy, hard and hardest of all. Through each I have been conditioned, seasoned and made ready for the challenge that is loving 6 separate souls as 1 and 1 as 6. </p>
<p>For whatever reason I am here I just can't make it make sense to anyone else in any way other than the words I have above. Soul does what Soul does. There is nothing else except to see them along the path they've chosen and to keep my head above water while doing so....by any means necessary.</p>

<p>Entre os <em>lifeguards</em>, a distribuição destes cartões é muito limitada (desde que cá estou, foi a primeira vez que alguns de nós fomos premiados), comparando a outros sítios (por exemplo, o Machu Picchu, que cozinha <em>turkey legs</em> durante o dia todo, já recebeu três destes!).</p>
<p>Eu recebi o cartão porque fiz um bom trabalho durante o dia (isto foi à uns dias atrás). Ao todo, fomos 4 <em>lifeguards </em>premiados.</p>

<p>This script is only for Debian / Ubuntu based distributions:</p>
<p>Get it form the right column of my Blog , where it says: <strong>Mis Archivos</strong></p>
<p>Then extract the tar.gz file and open a terminal .. go where the Modern-Wicd folder is and run in Terminal:</p>
<p>$sudo sh install.sh</p>

<p>Wicd tiene una interfaz gráfica un poco antigua, por lo que decidi con el inkscape realizar un nuevo tema para este programa.</p>
<p>Los cambios son :</p>
<ul>
<li> Muy Baja Señal  se indica con Rojo y no con Amarillo</li>
<li>Baja Señal se indica con Amarillo y no con Verde! o.O</li>
<li>Moder WiCD utiliza graficas modernas con degrades y colores agradables</li>
<li>WiCD Manager mucho mas moderno!</li>
</ul>
<p>Estos cambios los puedes ver en las imagenes de mas arriba ;-)</p>
<p><strong>Instalación del tema !</strong></p>
<p>El tema fue probado en la version 1.5.0 de wicd  y no es seguro que funcione en otras versiones. También fue probado bajo Debian / Ubuntu y en distros derivadas.</p>
<p>Para descargarlo vayan a la columna de la derecha donde dice: <strong>Mis  Archivos</strong></p>
<p>Ahora extraer el archivo tar.gz que bajaron y ir a la Terminal .. ahora posicionarse en la carpeta Modern-Wicd (usando el comando change directory "cd" ) y correr el siguiente comando:</p>
<p>$sudo sh install.sh</p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>En todos los equipos te encontrarás con personas difíciles, es importante identificarlos y moldearte a ellos, eres tú quien tiene que aprender a lidiar con ellos y cambiar ciertos aspectos de tu trabajo para conseguir de esas personas lo mejor.</p>
<p>No te dejes llevar ni por la frustración ni por el temperamento, recuerda que tu trabajo como Project manager es precisamente tratar con la gente, saber comunicarte, incluso con aquellos que no están dispuestos a comunicarse.</p>
<p>Se puede decir que tu trabajo es negociar, cuando te <a href="http://managementfromscratch.wordpress.com/2008/10/03/aprende-a-no-decir-ni-que-no-ni-que-si/">reúnes con superiores</a> tienes que saber negociar con ellos y saber no comprometerse a nada que no puedas cumplir, por otro lado cuando te reúnes con el equipo tu objetivo es sacar compromisos, esto es un arte que espero aprender, aunque la base es clara: Conoce al equipo.</p>
<p>Conociendo al equipo puedes preparar tus reuniones enfocando los problemas desde la perspectiva del que escucha, pero también condicionando el contenido de la reunión, el tono y el humor en función de quien es tu interlocutor, pondré dos ejemplos muy básicos y  exagerados para explicarlo mejor:</p>

<li class="MsoNormal"> Tu objetivo es       contener la euforia y poner hitos realistas.</li>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I recently started a new job IRL, this means that my SL time has cut down drastically! No more skiving at work on SL! *sob* It also means during the week I am tending to log off about 3pm SLT rather than my usual 5 or 6 pm SLT... 3 just seems far too early for my liking! Roll on the weekend... oh noes! I have turned into one of THOSE people who lives for the weekend! Come back come back student life!</p>
<p>In regards to SL, I have recently been appointed Simulcast Manager, taking over from Riko who did a fabulous job at it and I am trying hard to fill the boots left behind. So far so good, it basically entails making the band avies, finding people to run the avies and hopeing that the RL events run smoothly so that there are no last minute changes *eeps*</p>
<p>I have also been building a range of Tiny Furniture selling on SLX and OnRez - pocket money is pocket money! I am also really keen to start figuring out more Machinima in SL, to be able to record performances at the Rose and also random videos of every day frivolity - Think it is nice to have a record of your SL in all formats! hehe</p>
<p>So I have been exceptionally busy recently in world, and I love it! Roll on the busy busy bee please</p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Durante il seminario di Mercoledì si è discusso molto del fatto che noi donne abbiamo meno opportunità degli uomini di diventare grandi manager poiché, non potendoci sdoppiare, arrivate ad una certa età sorgono delle priorità personali e familiari di tipo diverso che ci portano a dover in qualche modo “sacrificare” la carriera o comunque ad effettuare una scelta tra quest’ultima e la vita privata.</p>
<p>Io ho trovato due sondaggi/indagini sull’argomento.</p>
<p><!--more--></p>
<p>Forse gli uomini avranno anche maggiori opportunità di noi nell’avanzamento professionale ma quello che non tutte consideriamo è che, seppure con tempi diversi, spesso si trovano a dover fare la nostra stessa scelta, ad avere la carriera da una parte e dei figli che crescono troppo in fretta, una compagna infelice, per non dire un matrimonio in crisi dall'altra…</p>
<p>In Canada è stata recentemente condotta da Catalyst e dal Families and Work Institute un'interessante indagine relativa ai bisogni delle donne e degli uomini in carriera mostrando che la grande differenza tra i due sessi è che le donne quando tornano a casa non hanno una moglie che le accudisce mentre gli uomini sì.</p>
<p>Ecco i risultati.</p>
<p>- Le priorità degli uomini in carriera:</p>
<p>1.  Lavorare in un ambiente di lavoro gradevole<br />
2.  Avere un lavoro fatto di continui stimoli<br />
3.  Essere ben retribuiti<br />
4.  Trovare un buon compromesso tra la vita privata e il lavoro<br />
5.  Avere le possibilità per potersi ampiamente realizzare<br />
6.  Lavorare in una società importante</p>
<p>- Le priorità delle donne in carriera:</p>
<p>1.  Lavorare in un ambiente di lavoro gradevole<br />
2.  Avere un lavoro fatto di continui stimoli<br />
3.  Trovare un buon compromesso tra la vita privata e il lavoro<br />
4.  Essere ben retribuite<br />
5.  Lavorare in una società importante<br />
6.  Avere le possibilità per potersi ampiamente realizzare</p>
<p>Nello specifico, se sia per gli uomini che per le donne manager l'elemento fondamentale è lavorare in un ambiente di lavoro stimolante e in grado di sostenere il peso delle proprie scelte, al terzo posto della classifica gli uomini posizionano la necessità di essere pagati adeguatamente mentre le donne la necessità di poter conciliare in maniera adeguata lavoro e vita privata, famiglia in testa.</p>
<p>Questo perché, dice la ricerca, gli uomini sono sempre sicuri di avere accanto una moglie che si occupa dei figli, che fa trovare loro la cena pronta e i vestiti stirati quando tornano a casa mentre la situazione inversa non si verifica che per pochissime delle donne intervistate.</p>
<p>Ma questi uomini possono esser sempre sempre sempre sicuri di avere accanto una moglie paziente, attenta e premurosa come credono?</p>
<p>Secondo un altro sondaggio, questa volta di Radio Montecarlo, sembrerebbe di no, anzi…</p>
<p>Mentre il premio fedeltà va alle consorti dei muratori, risultano infelici invece le mogli dei manager e, nove su dieci, dicono che vorrebbero tradirli…</p>
<p>Stando al sondaggio le mogli dei muratori nel 95% dei casi non sentono il bisogno di tradire il marito, diversamente dalle mogli dei manager che, con l'87%, risultano la categoria che ha maggiormente dichiarato di (voler) essere infedele.</p>
<p>Se nessuna ha mentito, molti signori in giacca e cravatta dovrebbero prendersi una pausa di riflessione, breve, e trovare al più presto il sistema per salvare il proprio matrimonio: le loro spose hanno confessato di non poterne più, li accusano di “latitanza” sotto le lenzuola, di esser perennemente stressati, di non esserci mai, di trascurarle a causa dei troppi impegni di lavoro, di dimenticarsi o addirittura non riuscire a liberarsi e esser presenti a compleanni e anniversari…</p>
<p>Una domanda (ironica) mi viene spontanea, ma questi uomini manager sfruttare un bel sistema di CRM oltre che per il business anche per gestire il loro matrimonio no?!?!? :-)</p>

Il povero però, è sempre stato amaliato dal ricco, dal Re, dalle Regine, dai principi, dalle principesse e dalle veline di corte.</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;"><img class="alignleft" src="http://www.press.unisi.ch/print/gabanelli.jpg" alt="" width="247" height="245" />Mentre la crisi sta terrorizzando i poveri di cui sopra, i ricchi, quelli che riescono a guadagnare <strong>17.000 euro l'ora, </strong>approfittano di questi momenti usando la crisi, l'allarmismo, come armi di distrazione di massa per mettere in atto le loro strategie salvaculo.</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">L'alitalia era troppo importante per la nostra "bandiera", era importante che ad intestarsi la vittoria sul campo fosse Re Berlusconi, era importantissimo che si arrivasse allo scontro con piloti e sindacati, era estremamente vitale trovare il capro espiatorio tra i lavoratori (brunetta docet), era importante distrarre l'opinione pubblica e la stessa opposizione.</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">Così, i nostri eroi approfittando del caos farmacologico, infilano di nascosto nelle pieghe della legge di conversione del decreto Alitalia un bel alticolo (articolo 7bis)  che modifica la legge Marzano sui salvataggi delle grandi imprese e quella sul diritto fallimentare del 1942. L'emendamento dice che per essere perseguiti penalmente per una mala gestione aziendale è necessario che l'impresa si trovi in stato di fallimento. Se invece è guidata da un commissario, e magari va anche bene come nel caso della Parmalat, nessun pubblico ministero potrà mettere sotto processo chi ha determinato la crisi.</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">In altre parole se hai portato un'azienda sull'orlo della bancarotta e ti sei fregato i soldi degli azionisti, ma questa per "fortuna"  non è fallita, sei praticamente intoccabile.  Addio ai processi Parmalat e Cirio. In salvo Tanzi e Cragnotti. Salvacondotto per l'ex presidente di Capitalia Geronzi.</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">A scoprire tutto questo è stata la trasmissione televisiva Report della grande Milena Gabanelli, l'ultimo baluardo di quella TV che fa a meno delle veline e dove il reality non è un isola di scoglionati, ma un impero di viscidi individui che stanno distruggendo l'economia italiana e i risparmi di noi poveri comuni mortali.</p>
