A atriz Jessica Alba (mulher invisível do Quarteto Fantástico) pousou para um ensaio fotográfico especial da revista Latina, a idéia era recriar cenas famosos dos filmes clássicos do terror: 'Psicose' e 'Os passáros' de Alfred Hitchcock, 'O bebê de Rosemary' de Roman Polanski, 'Pânico' de Wes Craven e um outro filme que até então ninguém sabe qual é exatamente. Hip Venture Company Creates HipChicas.com

The independent media startup has rolled out HipChicas.com a virtual world aimed at tween Latina girls.

The independent media startup Hip Venture Company, Inc. has rolled out HipChicas.com a virtual world aimed at tween Latina girls.

The Web-based world, which will be subscription-based, will enable girls aged seven to 14 to create avatars and engage with other kids across the globe while following the adventures of a fictional band, the Hip Chicacs. Using custom instant messaging tools on the site, users will be able to communicate in English and Spanish, as well as Portuguese and French while they visit virtual representations of real world locales, including Mexico, Los Angeles, Puerto Rico, New York, Cuba and Miami Beach.

Hip Venture is planning to register 100,000 users for a beta trial period before launching the site nationally, said creator Lazaro Fuentes.

Fuentes said eventually HipChicas.com will be ad supported, but any participating brands would need to adhere to the world’s Help Improve the Planet [HIP] theme. He believes that theme will help the site appeal to a more modern, worldly tween audience, one that is being underserved by mainstream kids Web sites and TV.

“We wanted to extend what has been a very broad introduction to Latin culture through things like [Nickelodeon’s] Dora the Explorer,
he said. “We think there is a gaping hole in the market. After these kids turn four and five, content [like this] falls of a cliff.”

Eventually, Fuentes wants to expand HipChicas.com beyond just a virtual world. For example, an animated series in the works. “The idea was to launch a digital kids brand and anchor it with a virtual world,” he said.

Emocionada, Thalía agradeció la votación de sus fans y dedicó el galardón a su progenitora, quien precisamente celebró en esta fecha su cumpleaños.

A punto del llanto, Yolanda Miranda selló la escena con un abrazo, tras lo cual la cantante complació a su seguidor al interpretar el tema "No me enseñaste".

Además de plasmar su rúbrica en algunos de los artículos de Fredy dedicados a ella, Thalía le obsequió una rosa a quien desde lejos viajara para compartir un momento.

Esta es la primera Estatuilla del reconocimiento que entrega uno de los ganadores de este año en Orgullosamente Latino, El Premio del Público 2008, 5¦. Entrega.

El equipo de Ritmoson Latino, que otorga este reconocimiento, seguirá adelante a fin de sorprender a los fans ganadores, quienes volarán hasta el lugar donde se encuentre su estrella preferida para hacerle entrega del galardón correspondiente.

I survived day 5!! This means I am past the middle mark. Now I can say I almost done! Woo hoo! Today overall was a much better day than yesterday. I woke up and my devastating headache was gone, the sun was shining and I had yoga to look forward to. Free Yoga at that. Of course getting out of bed and starting my day was a lil rough. I am always extremely weak in the morning, having to slowly raise myself out of bed strategically and stumble into the kitchen to make my first batch of lemonade. Today I made one serving and drank it right on the spot, as I sat on the bed watching videos. I finished the magic juice and "Viva La Vida" came on and I immediately got up and started dancing around the room which is my normal response to that song. It makes me happy to be alive, and that's when I knew it would be a good day.
So I made my economy size bottle of lemonade to go and packed my gym clothes and headed off to work. Work was fine except I am always sooo much hungrier in the confines of that building! I don't know why but my stomach is constantly growling there. Therefore, I ended up drinking half of the six servings by noon. Not good. Around lunch time my co-worker had a roach drop in on her and her cookie and that action broke up the day a lil. After that I didn't have much of an appetite anymore. But I did walk by a guy eating some sort of pot roast and it smelled so good it made me crave meat, and I don't even eat meat! Sigh.

I continued to fight off the hunger pangs, just trying to make to 6 pm when I could leave and go take my yoga class with Russell Simmons (He opened his own studio and invited press to come check it out). Oh yeah, another reason why my day was simply sublime. On the way to his new studio my co-worker told me, "You don't even look sick or anything, in fact your skin is like, glowing" in regards to me not eating for five days. I was ecstatic. One of my worst fears of doing the cleanse was that I would end up looking like a cast member from the Twilight vampire movie. So with that, I finished the last of the "stuff" and got changed for class.

The yoga class was amazing! Not only was it in a nice studio within the Alvin Ailey building, but I walk in and Porschla Coleman is the one teaching the class! I wasn't expecting that. I look up from my downward dog pose and there's Russell in the front of the class ever so non-chalantly. PS I am kinda mad Russell can do a headstand and I can't, but I digress. Porschla was such a great teacher and not only pretty in person but genuinely nice. She held my legs up and helped me with my shoulder stand. Boy do I need to work on that. Just being in the room with so much good energy changes everything. I wasn't hungry once in the hour and a half that I was there. I left there feeling super relaxed and content with life. (Note to self: do more yoga)

I can only hope the other 5 days follow suit. Now I am going to drink my Yogi tea and follow the advice on my packet: Be happy so long as breath is in you.

L'edizione 2008, promossa dal Comune e dalla Provincia di Latina nonchè dalla Regione Lazio, ha avuto una positiva partecipazione sia di autori (219 opere iscritte) sia di pubblico (oltre 1.700 spettatori nelle quattro serate).

Il montepremi del concorso è di 2.000 euro, l'iscrizione è gratuita e il tema libero.

Iniţial, raţionamentul meu destul de simplist pleca de la faptul că româna este singura limbă latină care păstrează până astăzi cele cinci cazuri gramaticale specifice limbii romanilor. Aceasta este şi principala cauză pentru care sfârşitul cuvintelor se schimbă de fiecare dată în funcţie de cazul gramatical în care se găseşte. De-aia străini se cam chinuiesc să o înveţe. După cum spuneam, niciuna dintre celelalte limbi latine din Europa (că mai există nişte variante de graiuri latine prin Africa şi prin nişte insuliţe pe undeva prin lume. aceste limbi nu le cunosc în niciun fel, deci nu ştiu să vă povestesc despre ele) nu mai are cele cinci cazuri latine.

Plus, eu ca o cunoscătoare de spaniolă şi franceză, cunoscătoare intimă aş putea spune deoarece am avut ani în care am vorbit numai în aceste limbi, ştiu că popoarele astea două nu au atâtea excepţii gramaticale în cazul verbelor, de exemplu, şi nici atâtea varianate de pronume (tonice, atonice, genitivale şi lalala).

Plus că aveam o dată un prieten italian şi o prietenă spanioloaică şi aştia se conversau între ei fiecare în limba lui şi se înţelegeau perfect. Se enervau de fiecare dată când vorbeam eu în româneşte şi, din ciripeala mea, nu înţelegeau nimic în timp ce eu îi pricepeam pe amândoi fie că vorbeau în spaniolă, fie că în italiană.

Portughezii au o pronunţie mai deşiuchiată. E, deşiuchiala vine fix de la sunetele care se pronunţă fix ca în româneşte. Căci, dintre cele patru limbi, portugheza, deşi nu pare, este cea care se apropie cel mai mult, ca pronuţie, de română.

Da...limba română este complxă, asta o ştim cu toţii. Teoria mea zice că este mult mai complexă decât toate celelalte patru limbi la un loc. Teoria asta a mea se continuă şi cu raţionamentul că, de fapt, româna şi nu italiana, este limba care a păstrat cele mai multe cuvinte şi rădăcini din latină. A, că are şi alte influenţe de la popoarele vecine sau cotropitoare plus vechile rădăcini dacice şi lallalalala...e, acest lucru o face şi mai complexă.

Desde el primer instante en el que esta guarrita latina nos ofreció en la calle una mamada, supimos que se trataba de una novata dispuesta a todo por unas monedas y con la cuál podíamos montarnos una buena fiesta.
