La marque April, May et sa créatrice Diane Goldstein signent une collection pour Monoprix qui sera disponible le 10 septembre. Le Citymarché poursuit sa collaboration, initiée depuis quelques saisons déjà, avec des créateurs (Ba&sh, Dice Kayek…) ou des marques plus confirmées (Bensimon, Lolita Lempicka…).

Une boutique éphémère Nike Sportswear
Nike choisit le jour d'ouverture des Jeux Olympiques, le 8 août, pour inaugurer une boutique éphémère de 250 m² basée sur le quai Henry IV à Paris. La péniche baptisée "1924" (année des derniers jeux organisés dans la capitale française) se déplacera plusieurs fois au gré d’événements. Des artistes y revisiteront les cinq plus grands produits de la marque : Dunk, Air Force 1, Air Max 90, Windrunner et AW77.

La maison Montblanc soutient la Fondation Nelson Mandela en commercialisant un bracelet en hommage à l'ancien président sud africain. L'intégralité du montant des ventes de ce bijou sera

Kate Moss is an international supermodel, which makes no sense at all, cause most of the time she looks like a junkie middle aged hobo who is waiting down the Camden Lock bridge just so she could jump on you and still your smokes. Moss and boyfriend and professional horsie, Jamie Hince, have been having quite a few fights lately, The Mirror reports. Some would say it's because he is boring as fuck, the others just because he can't stand her bloody hair roots anymore. The report say:

Normally, you can't keep Kate Moss away from festivals, but she didn't show up to watch her bloke Jamie Hince at The Mighty Boosh day in Kent.

It seems there's been a tiff ... Jamie was heard telling pals: "I slept out last night as I was too wasted to go home."

It's funny he said that, because the initial reason for why he got pissed drunk in the first place is just because he had to get back home and sleep with Kate Moss in the same bed. I guess things aren't going as smoothly as you might have think they would with a mess, druggy ex-supermodel and a nobody musician. Who would have thought.

I don't even know where to begin with this song. It's been covered repeatedly over the years--maybe most sensationally and disappointingly by Primal Scream and sex kitten Kate Moss, though the Lydia Lunch/Rowland S. Howard version has its murderous charms--but no one has been able to capture the wild doom and psychedelic potency of the original. As an aside, director Lynne Ramsay (Ratcatcher) used the song in her second film Morvern Callar to great effect.

Without further ado... here's Lee Hazelwood and Nancy Sinatra singing "Some Velvet Morning". One of the strangest, most beautifully bizarre pop songs ever. Hell, it may be the best pop song ever.

The hair extinsion that extricated itself from Kate Moss' scalp last month has fetched like 600 bucks online. That's Eurpean currency I believe. Here in America, thanks to George Bush's stoopit arse, that probably is the equivalent of a billion dollars.

The photog who purloined the track that got away from Kate posted that shiz on e-bay. It's all good though, because the funds will benefit an anti-drug charity. This is what the photog had to say about all of this: "I hope Kate doesn't mind. I did not have time to ask her because she was in quite a hurry."

I think Sienners bought it. Just because.

A Continuous Lean turned me onto a great article featuring attendee's for this years Glastonbury Festival. If you haven't seen the video of Jay-Z covering Wonderwall by Oasis, here it is. Must of been a spit in the face to Mr. Gallagher who was raising hell about a rapper headlining, and not his band. Gotta love the Gallagher's. Another great part about the article and the actual festival are the Wellington Boots everyone's wearing. It'd be nice if they could be worn even when not muddy, but that's just me.
