We can see Chizuru slutting her best in DVD specials 1 + 2 and in the third and fourth DVD special release, Nozomu is the main character. As expected from the flat-chested Nozomu, she couldnt deliver much impact or damage in here although some of her pose could definitely make you all loose some precious blood. This two specials that I got here are RAW versions, so I dont understand what their conversations are, but lets focus on their images first. As usual for release number 3, Nozomu posed innocently thorough the entire 2 minutes plus clip, including her so best ever swimsuit version. Remember these?

Kanokon

As fanservice shows go, Kanokon really blew me away. The plot or semblance of such was no better or worse than I expected it to be, but the quality of the service itself was entirely unexpected. With most of these series I usually think I'd have been better off just watching porn in the end, but the characters actually remained with me a bit afterwards, when I'm usually prone to forget them and move on. So did the series suck? Essentially, yes. The lead female was dumb and she annoyed me, but everything else about the show hit the right spots.

Kure-nai

I guess the ending was happy enough, and I certainly thought the fight scenes of the last episode were top notch, but I still feel like we missed out on something big. The whole series felt like icing on the cake, and as unlikely as it may be, I'm still hoping to see a piece of the rest animated. Kure-nai left me with an empty spot that only it's wonderful characters can fill.

Ryofuko-chan

Finally watched this. Naked lolis are always ok, even when they were men in their past lives, and especially when they are voiced by Norio Wakamoto in a body-swap episode. Gar-lolis, why has this not been done before.

Shion no Ou

This was a brilliant game series that very few people talked about. Shame on all of you. This was certainly one of my favorites of late 2007, and is undeniably the best of its genre in my eyes.

Moving on to new series, we have

Zero no Tsukaima - Princess no Rondo

This shit is so awful. Why is Louise so fucking stupid? Yet for some reason I'm compelled to finish it, just like Shana. It must be some sort of spell Kugimiya Rie has put on me. Half her characters are little brats but I flock to them regardless. Louise does have the benefit of being adorable when she's not making me want to punch my computer. Maybe Tiffania will make this a little more bearable.

Someday's Dreamers ~ Summer Skies

I know nothing about this series or its predecessors, all I know is that even if the series sucks and the characters end up getting on my bad side, I will still watch this for the backgrounds alone. Not that it will happen that way, as the main character, Sora, has really caught my interest.

The main character can't hold a candle to Otoha, but her anti-war bullshit seems to be going out the window relatively soon, and the crotch shots make this watchable. :3

And that's everything I believe. I'd flesh this out some more, but I need to shower and be to work in 20 minutes.

Ahh well I've been waitin for the first Kanokon figure to come out. I think this figure caught Chizuru in a rather tame pose (comparably), and has a different look to her that doesn't quite match her anime incarnation (imo anyway, I dunno what she's like in the manga). Overall for me it doesn't quite hit the right spot of what I expect from a Chizuru figure. That's not to say that the figure doesn't look nice though, it's still a finely crafted piece of work. She is a rather large 1/5 scale size, and weighs in at roughly 13,000 Yen! Sculpted by Shirohige Kizu (I probably butchered the name) and will be out in October from Kotobukiya.

Unfortunately, she is a Kotobukiya online shop exclusive :( .....or iiiiis she? As it turns out, Play-Asia seems to have been able to procure an unknown number of these special edition figures. Haven't seen anybody else have them up yet, so not sure if others will be able to offer them as well.

Also from Kotobukiya is the fifth figure in their DOAX2 Venus on the Beach series, Kokoro. I think I like the Ayane figure best, but I think Kokoro is gonna come in at second. Pretty girl on a pretty base (the water effect looks really nice) with a cast off feature to admire their swimsuits. What more could you ask for? lol

As with all the other figures (except Tina), the figure is sculpted by Migikura (probably butchered this one too), and will be out in November for 9200yen.

Lastly, from Megahouse, is this figure based on a character from 1990's OAV called Spirit of Wonder: China-san no Yuutsu (Melancholy of China-san. Hmm...sounds kinda familiar... lol). I've never seen this, but I think this girl dressed in a china-dress here is some kind of robot. The figure is part of Megahouse's excellent core model series, and is sculpted by Osiris (of Heavy Gauge). I love the metallic sheen of her dress. The red dress version is a limited edition, and visible differences are obviously her red dress and black stockings. Looks like she'll also have a different expression to her face while looking elsewhere. This version will be out in November for roughly 6000yen.

That leaves her blue dress is the regular edition. She'll be out in October for the same price. The image above shows that at least the red version will be cast-offable, but both will probably have that capability.

Can't particularly say I'm blown away by these figures, since I'm finding out more of what I want in a figure (and also because of a restraining budget lol), but I'm slightly interested in the China-san figure. and will think on it. That dress looks quite lovely lol

Let me start it off with the last episode of Kanokon, the show ended quite a bit too fast than I expected. I guess having a total of 12 episodes in a series doesn't suit me well. The same goes to Kure-nai. It ended up in an instant without too much grasp on the series itself. Anyway, I like how the series ended when Kouta finally confessed his feelings to Chizuru. Most of the time, Chizuru always takes the lead. Nevertheless, the show ended up with Chizuru accepting Nozomu too to be on Kouta's side. For some reason, the series doesn't have an actual plot to begin with. I can say that the series is weak in terms of story and character development. However, I did enjoy watching it for some reason. Probably, it's because of the fan service it usually makes especially Kouta's reactions over to Chizuru. I guess I don't find the series memorable to me after the episode ended. Then again, I might look for other potential series out there that might have a much more better storyline and plot than this.

Adott egy manga, ami azon kívül, hogy egy perverz eyecandy, tulajdonképpen semmi másban nem domborít lényegeset. Van kismillió ilyen, ottvan pl Change123, Kiss X Sis, Tenjou Tenge, Ikkitousen, vagy a személyes kedvenc Omamori Himari. Ugyanez a kategória Sekirei is. Vegyünk egy ilyen mangát, ültessük át animébe, aztán cenzoráljunk ki mindent és gyengítsük le ovodás szintre. Az eredmény: egy Epic Fail.

( nem mintha nem nézné meg így is minden korosztály, sőtt... de hát na... nekem ezt kötelező kiírni, különben fejbetosz az ÁVH :PPP )

Míg más mangák, mint pl Soul Eater, amik szintén jelentős eyecandy materiallal rendelkeznek túlélik ezt az érvágást, mert emellett lényeges és izgalmas sztorival, vagy eredeti karakterekkel is rendelkeznek, az olyan kizárólag ecchi/hentai/pantyshot témára specializálódott mangák mint pl ez is, már nem. Egyszerűen azzal, hogy kicenzúrázzák az egészet, megölik a lényegét, mert ezeknek tényleg ez a lényege. Semmi más. Az egész kerettörténet egy Z-kategóriás szar, ami csak akkor tudja az embert lekötni, ha közben hárompercenként van minimum egy fedetlen testrész. Ennélkül nem ér szart se. Pont ezért ez az anime se ér szart se, ugyanúgy mint Tenjou Tenge se a manga verziójához képest.

Sose tudtam felfogni, hogy miért csinálnak ilyen teljesen adult eyecandy szarokból egy kb gyerekműsort megszégyenítő "izét"..... Miközben a másik végletben vesznek egy teljesen rendes sztorival és nem túl sok eyecandyval megáldott Kanokon mangát (ami amúgy önmagában egy teljesen ownz manga), és csinálnak belőle egy olyan műsort, aminek egyrészt köze nincs a mangához, max csak a karakterek neveiben (a sztorit teljesen kidobták a kukába, és a helyére raktak egy huszadrendű hárem anime szart, még a karakterek jelleme se ugyanaz, még csak távolról se), a perverziószintje pedig akkora, hogy egy rakás csatorna kénytelen volt levenni az online stream műsorról. Vagy vesznek egy kb átlagos véres és gorefull Hellsing mangát, és felturbózzák a perverz és kegyetlen horror legvégsőbb fokaira, azzal, hogy mégtöbb vért, és mégtöbb brutalitást adnak hozzá...

Hol itt az igazság? Miért kell mindent elbaszni? Miért kell egy adult mangából normál műsort csinálni és miért kell egy normál mangából adult műsort csinálni? Miért nem lehet fordítva? És végül, most hogy a Hellsing képre nézek, miért van Rip van Winkle-nek elf füle az anime változatban? o.O Hol van ebben a logika? (mármint nem a fülben). Ha valaki érti, mondja meg, mert én nem. Azon túl, hogy a stúdiók fejes arcai, vagyis akik az ilyen döntéseket hozzák látszólag teljesen retardált csavart észjárású idióta fenyőszopó barmok, van erre értelmes magyarázat? Mert ha van, akkor valaki ossza meg. Én mosom kezeimet....

Valószínűleg sose fogom megérteni, hogy mi ennek az általános anti-nude politikának a célja. Ha valamiben egy nagy adag adult cucc van, akkor "jajj vegyük ki, nehogy baj legyen", ha valamiben egyáltalán nincs, akkor meg "jajj, rakjunk bele, mert nem lesz elég kelendő". Hát lol...

Azt eddig is tudtuk, hogy Amerikában fegyvere mindenkinek lehet, de melle senkinek se (legalábbis nyilvánosan), de amit a Japánok ezekkel a mangákkal művelnek azon már csak röhögni tudok. Kicsit olyan, mintha néha már a készítők se tudnák, hogy pontosan mit is akarnak. Nem arról van szó, hogy meglincselnék őket, egyszerűen csak rá kell rakni egy PG-18-as karikát, attól még ugyanúgy lesz nézettsége, mert bőven van PG-18 ember is a világon, sőtt... Ilyenkor mindig eszembe jut pl Diebuster esete (Gainax ugyebár), amelyiknek az első részében a főszereplő csaj szimplán letépte a felsőjét. Volt minden, mellek, mellbimbók is (ami azért animében ritka... a cenzúra egy bizonyos formája ez), mégse rantolt senki rajta. Pedig még az USA-ban is kiadták (nyilván gyengítve, de akkoris.. az ilyenre azért szoktak harapni). 

Egy szó mint száz, kicsit fel kéne nőnie a világnak, és végre eldönteni, hogy akkor most akarnak rendes műsorokat is csinálni, vagy nem. Hosszú távon az első verziónak van jövője, a másodiknak nincs...

Részemről Sekirei is csak egy újabb anime lett ebben a sorban... Ezzel már az idei szezon második új nagyágyúja lett kilőve... Mi maradt még? Slayers Revolution? Legközelebb arról számolok be... Remélem az pozítivabb lesz, mint ez...

Speaking of which, I just finished watching the last two episodes of kure-nai which was a series I thought was really worth mentioning.

Sure, the usual blockbuster combo of Macross Frontier and Code Geass don't disappoint every week (mostly), but for some reason I look forward to every installment of this slice-of-life anime as well.

Why? I'm not sure how do I put this myself. It just feel different I guess. With all the cookie-cutter harem, school romance, mecha, ecchi and seinen anime sprouting out these days, Kure-nai comes across as a fresh face.

Plot-wise it's nothing special :

"Sixteen-year-old Shinkurō Kurenai, a specialist in settling squabbles between people, is one day approached by his employer with the daughter of a powerful plutocratic family asking him to be her bodyguard." Wikipedia says.

However, I find the character interactions to be full of meaning, conversations to be suitably complex and every little action taken detailed, at least on the whole. Oh, and a soothing soundtrack doesn't hurt as well. It just dares to break the norm of the brainless plots you see so often, and that's a huge plus for me.

Sadly, I think it's because of this that Kure-nai is not so widely received as say, Kanokon or To-Love-ru, which is quite a shame because its a real gem compared to their mindless boob grabs.

To each his own, I guess. I was thinking, if this post even manages to encourage just one more viewer then I would surely be more than satisfied ^^;

That said and done, I think I better start looking for a Kure-nai replacement to satiate my appetite.

Wish me luck though, I think I'll need it..

La storia procede così per 12 puntate, raccontando i vari tentativi di conquista Chizuro, ogni volta sempre più espliciti e imbarazzanti per il povero Kouta, i quali però puntualmente falliscono a causa della continua presenza di Nozomu e di altri elementi di disturbo. Ci sono inoltre alcune puntate che "accennano" alla presenza di una trama più importante e completa, che sicuramente (?) verrà raccontata nella prossima stagione.

Kanokon è stata la prima serie a terminare tra quelle andate in onda nella stagione primaverile (naturalmente, contando solo quelle che sto guardando). Sinceramente l'ho seguita molto volentieri, grazie alla sua leggerezza e i momenti comici al limite (se non oltre il limite) della decenza. Ad ogni modo, rimane una serie di 12 puntate veramente carina, da seguire senza troppi impegni e da gustarsi grazie anche alla massiccia presenza di fanservice e di scene ecchi (date un occhiata alle immagini per farvi un idea).

Nos, mit is mondjak... Az egész az elejétől kezdve soft p0rn. Abból a vicces kategória ugyan, de azért annyira nem nyújt semmi különlegeset. Félre ne értsen senki, nem azt mondom, hogy a sorozat rossz volt, csak egyszerűen nem igazán volt benne semmi különleges, szal semmi olyan, amiért az utolsó epizód megnézése után ne töröltem volna le egyből, hogy legyen több hely a gépen.

Na de nézzük meg az alap szitut: Oyamada Kouta 16 éves iskolás srác, aki inkább néz ki 10-nek, de végülis mind1, mert Tayura-n kívül az összes osztálytársa loli, szal nem igazán tűnik ki onnan egy shota. Másik főhősünk Minamoto Chizuru, aki egy kitsune, és aki totál ráhajt Kouta-ra, ami persze a srácot folyton zavarba hozza. Kettejük amúgysem egyszerű kapcsolatába még bejön Nozomu is, aki egy új diák a suliban, és mellesleg szintén démon, mint Chizuru, azon belül is farkas, loli, és persze szintén rá van indulva Kouta-ra. "Szegény" Kouta szexuális zaklatásoknak van kitéve, ami a többiek szerint az ő hibája, és ezért Great Ero King-nek nevezik vagy minek. Kb ennyi.

Jah, meg jön a sorozat alatt még pár új szereplő, akiket Chizuru legyak, miközben megszállja Kouta testét, mert így szuper erősek. Emellett úgy tűnik, mintha a készítők próbáltak volna párszor valami cselekményszerű dolgot belevinni a sorozatba, de nem igazán jött nekik össze. Pl ki volt az a külsős loli, aki Onii-channak nevezte Kouta-t, és felbérelte az éhező ninja ikreket, hogy tegyék el Chizuru-t az útból? Soha nem derül ki. Persze kiderül valószínűleg a regényekből, amit tulképpen meg is vehetnék angolul, mert a 7seas kiadja, de őszintén... annyira nem érdekel a dolog.

Ami nézhetővé tette a sorozatot, az tulképpen a szinkron volt. Komolyan mondom, ha nem a kedvenceim lettek volna benne, akkor valószínű nem nézem végig... vagy legalábbis nem most, hanem amikor nagyon ráérek. Eléggé durva kontrasztot képzett ez az anime pl a Jigoku Shoujo-hoz képest, amit mostanság nézünk Avel-lal Animax-on, és amiben ugye szintén Noto Mamiko alakítja a főhőst. Kawasumi Ayako-t mindig szeressem, szal a perverz hangja is bejövős volt :) Plussz még ott van Saito Chiwa is, aki ugyan most nem mondta, hogy "hazukashi serifu kinshi!", mert az másik sorozat, de azért szeress :D

Na meg azért volt a sorozatban egy-két egészen vicces dolog, mint pl ez :D

Szóval nem volt nagyszám a sorozat, egy nézést megért, de nem várok epekedve második szezont (ami gondolom nem is lesz).

I dont think my life could last any longer for another Kanokon DVD special - I'm physically very tired already from my advertising workload, sleepless nights and just lost some fluid just now after viewing the first DVD special. And now, like an angel from the sky, Moetaku Fansubs again delivered another blow that either going to make me happy for the rest of the day or going to cripple my body fluid balance for good :D . Below is the second DVD special screen caps and for the first DVD special, fap~fap HERE. Nozomu joined Chizuru in their lusty barrage against Kouta this time. Get ready for a lot of hot raunchy scenes. Again, special thanks to Moetaku for their great upload! I wonder what is coming up next?

Some notes :

1. For the guys out there that think screen caps are not enough to provoke your manhood's insanity, you can get the DVD specials via torrent or direct download from Moetaku Fansubs site.
2. Please tune down the volume while watching the second DVD special as the sound effects is damn real :D

The first one answers the question on if Chizuru starred in her own swimsuit idol DVD. It's basically two minutes of long camera pans of her in various swimwear ... and the occasional surprise flash. "Hey, those weren't there before," you might say. There are a few of her in kitsune form, too. Basically tons of eye candy for Chizuru fans. And she just poses so innocently, too; it's criminal.

Next is a short little scene that contains Nozomu. The above, personally-censored cap probably says everything you'll need to know about what happens. Chizuru and Nozomu strip down and agree to wake up a sleeping, unknowing Kouta in the most jealousy-causing way. I just love his frozen expression, despite how much he secretly likes it.

I haven't looked at DVD versions of the actual series yet, but based on these specials I do wonder if the DVD eps will be totally uncensored. That would make the various spa and bath scenes a whole lot different, even though they were quite daring already with the minimal steam and interesting camera angles. XEBEC have really outdone themselves.

Impressions

Chizuru after much persuasion, finally Kouta a happy ending for this anime. I did not like the end part where Nozumu comes in and says she was going to be Kouta mistress. I mean wth a real party spoiler if you ask me. But this is Kanokon, and with all its eechiness and smexyness, I expected something like that to happen. Overall the anime is rather mediocre, most of the eechi jokes are a good laugh at the beginning, but I wish something real threat happened in the anime to make Kouta and Chizuru relationshi grow stronger. Most of the bad events were trails at testing their love, so I was kind of bumped out at that. Also Nozumu was rather silly in how she wants to get Kouta and did not really attempted to stop Chizuru. Kanokon is alright to watch if you want some laughs but beyond that I do not think the eechiness can propel it into a memorable anime, but the character designs are cute though. With more anime coming up this month I am glad Kanokon is only 12 Episodes.

Kanokon 12 was the last episode for this great ecchi or sex orientated anime and I was quite disappointed with the ending, with Kouta saying the magical I love you phrase to Chizuru to end the whole series. And with only 12 episodes, I couldnt even manage to ejaculate myself properly :D , although there are some naughty scenes in episode 7 and 8 as what I have reviewed HERE. But thanks to Moetaku fansubs for their great upload of Kanokon's DVD 1 special ~ Eizou Tokuten, I could resume my holy task. Running for around 2 minutes plus, it shows mostly Chizuru's still images - some with clothes on, some half of her clothes gone and some without any clothes on :D . Moving on to the next glorious episode, we find ourselves immediately face to face with the two new characters from the previous episode.  The loli and her bodyguard.  But before we get into their role in the plot we get treated to the comforts of Breast Pillows.

Ha, since when did Kouta become a poet, albeit a rather awkward one. So now we know the two key factors in deciding upon quality melonpan: Softness and Mushiness.  Good luck judges!!

Welcome Evil Loli Overlord Minori!  May your reign be good and true.... ahem, my apologies >.>

Now we get another love rival on the scene and this one feels free to call Kouta Onii-chan.  We're also introduced to the real background of those mysterious yet oh-so-cute red-hair'ed twins from class, Ren and Ai.  Now we can add to their repertoire of eating ridiculous lunches, being clumsy loli ninjas.  How excited am I?  Oh, you just wait and see.

Are you guys aware that your panties (actually fundoshi) are showing?  Coz I certianly am...

Wow, cute, and what makes this even cuter is the fact that they fail and of course are blown up by their own bomb.

These two CLAN or Clumsy Loli Assassin Ninjas, are hired by the Evil Overlord Loli Minori to seal Chizuru's spirit powers away.  After suitably failing (see above) and then managing to distract Chizuru and Co. long enough to spike Chizuru's tea, her powers are sealed away.  Now, I'll give you one guess where all her powers are stored.

Despite the bad grammer in the fansub, yes, her breasts have vanished.  If you guessed Breasts then go ahead and give yourself a pat on the back, or give your loli body pillow a hug, either/or.

As can be imagined now, the rest of the episode deals with how the group can get Chizuru's breasts back, but its perhaps not like what you think.  Despite being powerful spirits, no magic is involved, nor potions, or incantations.  What do they try, your typical Japanese breast growth myths, ha. Kouta then proceeds to attempt to comfort Chizuru...

Haha!  Did I mention I love Nozomu?

And so it begins....

Ha, so that's why doctors and chemists wear those coats, I knew it!

Ouch, that's just harsh, or at least, we know where our priorities are Haha

Leave it to Nozomu to make the best suggestion.  When can I get started?

Potatoes?? O_o  Ok, I have to admit, this one I hadn't heard before, if anyone has any more info on this, please, feel free to enlighten me.  Ha.

I whole heartedly agree with this approach, once again, I'm available to start anytime...

Nozomu decides to help Chizuru during this episode since having an unarmed (un-boobed) opponent is not a fair fight.  Very confident in her DFC abilities she is, and frankly, I don't blame her. First, for "messaging" they try poking the crap outta Chizuru's breasts LOL.  Hilarious, then when that doesn't work, Nozomu says she needs to feel that "funny" sensation more and in a great degree.  So what's the solution?  Eating the cake! Haha.  Or in otherwords, slaming Kouta's face into Chizuru's exposed sweet spot and forcing him to like her "tail". As so happens, the CLAN are watching from outside the windows.

Ha, man, sometimes, I love this show, predictable and yet, taking it so much farther.

The episode ends with the Evil Overlord Loli Minori preparing for some kind of massive magical event. Dun da duuuun.

Hot Springs, we all knew this was coming, the question wasn't if, it was when...

Kanokon 08

A trip to the hot springs is a classic harem comedy staple and Kanokon has a tendency to take harem moments and go even more wonderfully over the top.  This episode proves to be no exception and we are treated with an obvious duel between Chizuru and Nozomu.  But even better, a duel emerges between Chizuru's mom and Chizuru.  We ended up with an even more shota-central theme to this episode.

Of course we get treated to Chizuru and Nozomu in the hot springs....

Ask a stupid question, get a simple answer, gotta love Nozomu We're also introduced to a new couple of characters just before this moment

Seems like the plot will get thicker in the future...and by thicker, I mean the consistency of a nice vinaigrette.  After being treated to world class melonpan and world class DFC, Chizuru's mom makes her move on Kouta.  What makes this great is just how far they take it with her actually grabbing for and stroking his manhood for a good couple of seconds.  Kouta's lack of struggle concedes the point that he is really just a MILF hunter and the shy boy routine is just a superficial exterior.

Perhaps the funniest moments in this episode were the fact that Kouta gets hopped up on Chizuru's mom's Nine-Tail Love Brew and gets all hot for Nozomu, who promptly attempts to take perfect advantage of the situation.

Did I mention I'm a fan of Nozomu? Well, if you were not before you should be now! Ha.  The other great moment of this Love Brew tragi/comedy is when Tayura learns of the brew's capabilities and immediately runs off to get Asahina to drink it.  Yet, upon drinking several cups of the brew, Asahina simply turns into the happy/slurry drunk that she is.  Poor Tayura, he's the one I'm actually pulling for in this whole ridiculous show, ha.  He also attempts to spy on the other girls in the middle of the episode, only to get a face full of monkey by showing up to the wrong outdoor hot spring.

Despite all of Chizuru's attempts, Kouta only comes back to her once the full effect of the love juice has worn off.  He even gets the balls to tell Chizuru to leave him and Nozomu alone which of course causes a heartbroken Chizuru to break down.  Ha, its always the same with characters in shows like these, such insecurity!! Then again, this is a comedy in which nothing should be taken too seriously.

A bleeding discount? O_o for who and have you been charging before?

The supporting cast was also strong in this one with Chizuru's mother of course leading the way but the other girls from school had their moments as well.

Say Ahhhhhhhhh!

In the end, as may well be expected, the potion wears off and life returns to what constitutes normal around there.
