In January 2008, the Jaguar XF won award of the prestigious What Car? and the Car of the Year award.
The XF also won the award Car of the Year 2008 from magazine What Diesel?.

The new Jag XF was developed at Jaguar's Whitley design and development HQ in Coventry, in the UK and is built in factory Castle Bromwich, Birmingham, UK.

Powered by a supercharged 5.0-liter V8 producing 500+ hp and riding on unique 20-inch alloy wheels, Jaguar isn't doing too much to hide the air vents on the hood, large bumper air intakes, a discreet boot spoiler and quad exhaust.

We're expecting that an official debut will be early next year in Detroit. However, Los Angeles auto show next month could be an appropriate venue to makes its debut.

Minggu jam 13.00 - 16.00 saya diajak teman cewek saya untuk seminar motivasi di Auditorium Hall Sabuga Institut Teknologi Bandung. Awalnya saya ga sengaja cuman jalan-jalan terus temen cewek saya ngajak. Kebetulan saya juga pengin mengetahui seperti apa seminar motivasi itu. Ternyata di dalamnya asik juga. Kita di iringi musik-musik discotik. Serasa kita sedang clubing dah. Ternyata acara ini diadakan United Core Vision. Ada pembicara-pembicara yang cukup membuat yang hadir disitu menjadisemangat untukmenjalani bisnis. Menurut saya acaranya sederhana namun cukup terkesan mewah karena pemilihan venue yang cukup elite. Dihadiri kurang lebih 2 ribu orang, acaranya ini mengalir lancar. Saya jadi tahu Louis Tendean yang udah dapat Villa, maupun rumah berbudget milyaran serta yang baru saja kebeli mobil jaguar XF senilai sekitar 1,3 milyar.

Kebetulan di kesempatan itu mobilnya diparkir di depan lokasi saya jadi cukup asik aja ngeliatnya. Ada juga pembicara Abdi dari Palu. Dia menceritakan kisah hidupnya yang merana sebelum gabung di Tiansi. Pembicara ini baru saja mendapatkan mobil Mercedes sekitar 600 juta jika dibeli. Selama beberapa jam suasana sangat menyenangkan meskipun untuk hadir disitu kita harus merogoh kocek 50rb. Tapi tampaknya semua yang hadir di situ sangat puas.

More surprisingly, the Jaguar XF is on there, as is the flame-snorting Lexus IS-F. The leftovers of the directory is rounded out with the BMW 5-Series, Audi A6 and Infiniti M35.

Linia boczna przywołuje na myśl BMW, przód Lexusa. Tylne światła po raz kolejny bezceremonialnie zerżnięto z Aston Martina .... ew. z Laguny Coupe ;) Wielki i bezkształtny grill przypomina amerykańskie furgonetki, środek zaś żywcem nieomal wyjęty z Audi.

Pewnie teraz gdy Jaguara wykupił indyjski koncern Tata produkujący wszystko od kawy po ciągniki i chemikalia można spodziewać się na pokładzie dodatkowo ekspresu do kawy :)
W sumie równie dobrze na masce Jaga mogłoby się teraz pojawić logo Dacii .

The exterior was treated with the Arden typical aerodynamic changes. The AJ 21 is a new front apron with a larger grille and deductions further contribute to better cooling for the engine and the brakes before the lower flap helps to improve the aerodynamic performance of the model, especially high-speed trains. The integrated LED lights help pimps day of the global aspect of the vehicle.

As we approach towards the back, the opinion of small openings on the boards rocker directly opposite the rear wheels, it is a host of additional air of Arden to help cool the brakes again. The stern will make some minor changes, including a new predator back of the lid and marked a broadcaster. The package is supplemented by a series of 21 "wheels in Arden" Sports Line "design, developed a suspension Arden sport and a stainless-steel sport exhaust.

Loder1899 started with a body kit consisting of a new front spoiler, boot spoiler and after the campaign intensified the spread of the nature of the Jaguar XF. Loder1899 also lowered the XF by 35 mm giving it both a faster appeal as well as a lower center of gravity. The look is finished with 20 or 21 inch wheels, pictured are 21 inch silver 'Hollow Spoke' wheels.

However, adjustments will not stop as long as aesthetics, Loder1899 also bumps up power output thanks to a new motor management system. The 2.7 liter TDV6 engine now produced 249 hp instead of the factory spec 207 hp, torque is increased to maximum 522 Nm at 3,850 rpm from 435 Nm at 4,000 rpm.

The whole kit costs about Euro 8,000 in Germany excluding taxes, assembly and painting.

Monday, March 10 is the day when Jaguar’s sleek, new XF sedan officially hit the showroom floors in UK, Europe and North America. Luxurious and spacious for its class, the XF contains a melodic V8, handles extremely well and, in the sheet-metal flesh, is gorgeous.

Sharp New Suit, the rear-wheel-drive, 4-door, 5-seat Jaguar XF will arrive in three trim choices: Luxury, Premium Luxury and Supercharged. The standard equipment list is lengthy, including 18-inch wheels, electrically adjustable steering column and leather front seats, side and side-curtain airbags, automatic speed limiter, a tire-pressure-monitoring system, rear parking assist and an electronic parking brake. In the U.S., motivational choices will be between Jaguar’s normally aspirated (300-horsepower) or supercharged (420-horsepower) 4.2-liter V8 engine. Extensive efforts were applied to tune out discordant mechanical sounds that might emanate from beneath the XF’s rippled hood, leaving a restrained and melodic V8 soundtrack to permeate the cabin. This Ghost is packed with Engine 4196cc, eight cylinders Power 416bhp @ 6250rpm Torque 413 lb ft @ 3500rpm Transmission Six-speed auto with paddle shift Fuel 22.4mpg (combined cycle) CO2 299g/km Acceleration 0-60 in 5.1sec Top speed 155mph (limited).

The well-appointed Luxury version is available for $50K ($49,975, including destination and delivery charges). The extensively optioned S/C version arrives at $62,975. Few cars, at any price point, hit the sweet spot of stunning looks with moves to match. With the solid, swift and sleek new XF, it looks like Jag has a winner on its hands.

How soon can Tata bring this to India remains to be seen.

This commercial comes in the middle of the anticipation of Tata takeover of Jaguar and Land Rover, especially for the reconstruction of the British car manufacturer's legendary image. It shows different perspectives exterior and the interior of the car, accompanied by numerous hot driving scenes, and not to mention a few intense scenes of people with gratifying with the music.

Jaguar hat eine neue Mittelklasse. Als viertüriges Coupé mit sehr dynamischem Design markiert er eine neue Ära für Jaguar - von Vergangenem direkt in die Moderne.

Der XF soll im Gegensatz zu seinem Vorgänger S-Type nicht die Kunden ködern, die auf der Suche nach etwas Klassischem sind, sondern jene, die in dem von 5er, A6 und E-Klasse dominierten Segment auf der Suche nach Extravaganz, progressivem Design und Exklusivität sind.

Sein Äußeres verkörpert – ähnlich dem Mercedes CLS – das viertürige Coupé. Jaguar selbst spricht von der faszinierenden Kombination des Stils und der Leistung eines Sportwagens mit der Aura und der Eleganz eines luxuriösen Coupés.

Auch innen findet man wenig Vertrautes. Statt großflächigem Einsatz von Edelhölzern überwiegen großflächige Displays, metallene Oberflächen und neuartige Bedienelemente.
Jaguar Sense zum Beispiel ist eine neue Technologie, die mit einer berührungslosen Handbewegung die vordere Innenbeleuchtung aktiviert sowie das Handschuhfach mit einem leichten Fingerdruck öffnet. Auch die Lüftungsdüsen sind im Armaturenbrett verborgen und drehen sich erst bei Funktion in eine sichtbare Stellung.

Bei der Ausstattung befindet sich der XF auf Höhe der Zeit, denn Sprachsteuerung, radargesteuerte Überwachung des "toten Winkels", vordere und hintere Parksensoren, eine Rückfahrkamera, eine adaptive Geschwindigkeitsregelung, ein Reifendruck-Kontrollsystem, sowie eine elektronische Parkbremse gehören neben Bluetooth-Schnittstelle und steuerbaren Anschlüsse für iPod und MP3-Player zum Klassenstandard.
Bei der Akustik haben sich die Engländer beim know-how ihrer Landsmänner von Bowers&Wilkins bedient. Das von Ihnen zugelieferte 7.1 Dolby-Surround HiFi-System bringt den XF in der Audiowertung weit nach vorne.

Die Motoren sind aus den anderen Modellen des Programms bekannt. Der 2.7 Liter V6 Biturbo markiert mit seinen 207 PS den Einstieg in die Modellreihe und bleibt vorerst auch der einzige Diesel der Baureihe. Ihm stehen der 3.0 Liter V6 Benziner, sowie die beiden 4.2 Liter V8 mit und ohne Kompressor zur Seite.

Neu bei Antriebsstrang ist jedoch das Getriebe. Die 6-Stufen-Automatik des XK-Sportwagens wurde mittels „Shift-by-wire“ Technologie nochmals optimiert um nun im dynamischen Umfeld des XF’s überzeugen zu können. Der Fahrer hat die Möglichkeit die Gänge mittels Schaltwippen am Lenkrad manuell zu wählen, oder aber den neuartigen Drehschalter auf der Mittelkonsole zu bedienen - statt über einen konventionellen Getriebewählhebel erfolgt die Wahl der Gänge über den "JaguarDrive Selector".

Auch bei der aktiven Sicherheit präsentiert Jaguar Neues: die Motorhaube wird im Crashfalle pyrotechnisch aufgestellt um bei Fußgängerunfällen einen größeren Puffer zwischen Haube und harten Motorteilen sicherzustellen. Elektronischer Bremsassistent, Bremskraftverteilung, ABS, Stabilitätskontrolle sowie die Kurvenbremskontrolle CBC und Motordrehmomentsteuerung sind selbstverständlich serienmäßig, zudem besitzt der XF erstmals bei Jaguar ein Programm, das durch gezieltes Abbremsen die Haftung der Vorderräder verbessert und so Untersteuern schon im Ansatz kompensiert.

Der XF ist zu Preisen ab 49.370 EUR in Deutschland bestellbar und wird ab Frühjahr 2008 ausgeliefert.
