mit HTML-Ankern verlinkt sind, jedoch diese zur Zeit nicht angesprungen werden können. Grund: hier hat ein flüchtiger Fehler eines Programmier-Anfängers oder betriebsblinden Programmier-Experten seine Spuren hinterlassen.

Also von Schellenberg habe ich mir die Scharniere und den Magnetschnapper besorgt, weil sie in ihren Maßen zum Rahmen des Insektengitters am besten passen. Leider waren mir dies InsektenSchutz-Systeme zu teuer, weil eine dankbare Alternative der Marke Farilia in einer anderen Baumarktkette gefunden wurde.

Dass Fa.Schellenberg auch Insektengitter des Typs "Fliegengitter Reflection" mit den Funktionen

• Sichtschutz von außen, Sonnenschutz, Hitzeschutz durch Aluminiumbeschichtung,
• Insektenschutz durch Feingewebegitter

hat, kann evtl. später einmal an Fenstern der Haussüdseite getestet werden.

Das Insektenschutzgitter samt Rahmen und Montagezubehör wurde von der Marke Farilia ausgewählt, die ca. 1/3 günstiger in der Anschaffung war. Diese Marke wird im Internet mit der Fa. Emil Lux GmbH&Co.KG, Wermelskirchen in Verbindung gebracht. Da

• 1970 Herr Manfred Maus zusammen mit Dr. Emil Lux den ersten OBI Bau- und Heimwerkermarkt in Hamburg gegründet hat (was ich bisher noch nicht wusste),
• der handschriftliche Insektenschutzgitter-Namenszug "Farilia" dem für eine Floristik-Broschüre von Fa. LUX sehr ähnelt

ist es plausibel anzunehmen, die Insektenschutzgitter-Marke Farilia stamme von der Fa. Lux.

Leider gab es bei meiner Montage auch Probleme.

• 1: der nötige 2,5mm-Metallbohrer erwies sich als stumpf, so dass Mutter formuliert hätte, "man habe auf ihm reiten können"; es musste mit einem scharfen 1,5mm-Bohrer vorgebohrt und das Bohrloch zunächst mit einem 2mm-Bohrer und dann 2,5mm-Bohrer erweitert werden.
• 2: die 2,5mm-Bohrlöcher ins Rahmengestell für den Magnetschnapper erwiesen sich für die Schellenberg-Rundkopfschrauben als zu groß, denn diese Schrauben hätten eher Löcher von 2mm vertragen. Zum Glück konnten 2 Rundkopfschrauben aus einem "Schraubensortiment d" des Kaufland Warenhandel Neckarsulm aushelfen, die sonst nur achtlos auf ihren Einsatz in einer Wühlkiste gewartet hätten.
• 3: von anfang an war klar, dass sämtliche Montagevorschläge hier bei mir nicht anwendbar sind. Die Gitterrahmen können nicht einfach in den Alufensterrahmen eingehakt werden, da das Fenster auch geschlossen werden können soll, ohne das Gitter entfernen zu müssen. Auch soll das Gitter vor dem "Windauge" verbleiben, falls das Fenster groß oder klein geöffnet wird. Zwischen Fensterrahmen und -flügel ist der Spalt so gering, dass noch nicht mal ein Löschblatt dazwischen passt, also auch keine Kunststoffhaken von Farilia. In die Fensterrahmen die Aufhängung (Scharnier, Schnapperblech) festschrauben geht auch nicht und der Hintergrund der Mauerlaibung ist so uneben, dass die Scharniere schief angeschraubt werden müssten und so die beigefügten Wandschrauben zu kurz sind.
• 4: nachdem sich das Insektengitter freiwillig in den fertigmontierten Gitterrahmen eingfügt hat, musste festgestellt werden, dass die fertige Gitter vier mögliche "es soll-ja-nicht-ewig-halten Stellen" hat. Diese befinden sich in den 4Ecken: die Schutzkappen zerstören die gespannten Gitter durch Einreissen von Löchern, falls man die Kappen wie vorgeschrieben überstülpt. Vielleicht hätte dies verhindert werden können, falls man die Gitter nicht so gespannt hätte.

Nun ist das ca. 950g schwere Insektenschutzgitter nach 5Arbeitsstunden zur Endmontage bereit. Es wird versucht, es mit Hilfe von beidseitig klebendem outdoor-Montageband (max.Tragfähigkeit = 10kg/m; Breite 19mm; Marke Tesa) an den Fensterrahmen anzukleben. Nötig sind bei diesem Gewicht mindestens 10cm Klebefläche. Damit das ganze Schutzgitter sich bei Windstille beim Öffnen nicht loslöst, sind also mindenstens 10cm Klebefläche auf jeder der beiden Außenflächen (Scharnierfläche, Schnapperblechfläche) nötig. Welchen Adapter (Blech, Kunststoff) ich hierfür wählen werde, ist noch unklar. Schaun wir mal.

Schade ist auch, dass man beim Editieren auf meinen freenet-Weblogseiten die Artikelentwürfe nicht automatisch gesichert, sondern automatisch gelöscht bekommt. Daher habe ich ihn in diesen Bericht in mein wordpress-Weblog gestellt. (dp) (2,5h)

Nachtrag am 22.7.2008 um 23.40Uhr:

Heute habe ich mir im Baumarkt wieder raten lassen, es einfach zu probieren. Ja, diesen Rat brauche ich mir nicht holen. Also wird mir geraten, die Scharniere mit Sekundenkleber für Kunststoffe auf meine Haftleisten, die aus Plexiglas zu bestehen scheinen, aufzukleben und diese Haftleisten dann an die Fensterrahmen anzubringen. Löcher ließen sich in dieses Plexiglas nicht mit der Lochzange stanzen, sondern nur mit der Bohrmaschine bohren. Dann werde ich die Scharniere nach der Verfestigung des Sekundenklebers noch mit Blindnieten an diesen Haftleisten sichern. Wollte heute mal ausprobieren, wie eine fertiggenietete Blindniete ausschaut und was war? Nicht ein "Schuss in den Ofen", nein, ein "Schuss in den Müllsack". Fest steht wenigstens, dass Ösen-Nieten oder Hohlnieten ungeeignet sind. Also dann bis hoffentlich morgen (dp) (0,25h)

Globus Toolkit คือ อะไร?
เป็นเครื่องมือช่วยในการพัฒนาโปรแกรมบน Grid พัฒนาโดย Globus Alliance. Implemnent ตามมาตรฐาน Open Grid Services Architecture (OGSA) มีองค์ประกอบสำครับ 4 อย่างคือ
1. Resource monitoring and discovery service
2. Job submission infrastructure
3. Security infrastructure
4. Data management services

Service ส่วนใหญ่จะ Implemnt อยู่บน WSRF(Web Services Resource Framework) (มีบางอันที่เป็น non-WS components) ข้อดีคือ Web Service ใช้ XML ดังนั้นจะเขียนโปรแกรมด้วยภาษาใดๆก็ได้ เพื่อเรียกใช้บริการทรัพยาการบน Grid (เข้าใจถูกหรือเปล่าเนียะ)

ติดตั้ง Globus Toolkit 4.0.7 ยาวจริงๆ

ผมติดตั้งบน Ubuntu 8.04 ครับ ใน Tutorial เค้าใช้ Debain 3.1 กับ Linux RH9

เครื่องมือต้องมีก่อนติดตั้ง เครื่องมือส่วนใหญ่จะมาพร้อมกับ OS อยู่แล้ว อันไหนไม่มี ใช้ apt-get ครับง่ายดี

ต่อไปคือเซ็ต Security
เนื่องจากเครื่องข่าย Grid ต้องมีการเชื่อมต่อออกไปภายนอกองค์กรผ่านเครือข่ายอินเตอร์เน็ต Globus Toolkit จึงต้องมี Grid Security Infrastructure(GSI) เพื่อสร้างความปลอดภัยในการติดต่อสื่อสาร GSI ใช้พื้นฐาน public key encrption ตามมาตรฐาน X.509 certificate + SSL

ผู้ใช้แต่ละคนจะต้องมี certificate เพื่อใช้ในการระบุตัวตัน โดย certificate แต่ละใบต้องได้รับการเซ็นร้บรอง(signed) โดย Certificate Authorith(CA)

ขั้นตอนในการสร้าง CA , Certificate และเซ็นรับร้อง Certificate โดย CA
1. สร้าง CA ด้วย user ชื่อ globus (globus จะเป็นคนเซ็น certificate ให้ host/user รายอื่น)
2. สร้าง certificate ให้กับ host(cert ของเครื่อง) แล้วให้ globus เซ็นต์รับรอง
2. สร้าง certificate ให้กับ user แล้วให้ globus เซ็นต์รับรอง

1. สร้าง CA ให้สังเกต ชื่อ user ให้ดี

สร้าง CA โดย globus ใช้โปรแกรม setup-simple-ca
จะมีคำถาม 2-3 ข้อให้ yes ไปก่อน ยกเว้น PEM pass phrase ที่ต้องกรอก (จำไว้ด้วย)

Let's start with the best. Tourism authorities are a fantastic and often-overlooked source of travel information - particularly for decent free maps and basic info with lots of glossy pictures. ANTOR's* represents 48 official tourism authorities (including the Australian State authorities) and the destination info page provides (along side some basic travel info) the URL, email address and contact details for all of them. If you're interested in any major destination for Australian travellers it will be listed. Simply email the relevant authority with your address, rough dates of travel and as far as possible the specific regions or cities you're interested in and wait for the postie everyday for a week or so! No substitute for a good guidebook or your own research but generally there will be at least a couple of genuinely useful items in the material sent.

TravelBrochures.com.au and TravelBrochures.SMH.com.au are another clearing house for free travel information, although arguably of a must less useful nature. These sites allow to order free tour company brochures, some of which are available in digital (tree-saving) format. All the majors are available as well as a few smaller operators - useful if you wish to compare tours from a number of companies or can't get to a travel agent. Of course some major operators now send out (often unintenionally comical) DVDs as as a bonus! Be warned, however, apart from ending up on a tour (which may or may not be a bad thing in itself...), you are likely to end up on a mailing list of the tour companies from which it may be difficult to extract yourself!

A perspectiva de se ver preso por seis horas num aeroporto, depois de nove horas de vôo apertado na classe cômica, digo, econômica, à espera de uma conexão mal arranjada, pode ser assustadora. Mesmo que seja em Zurique, uma das cidades mais chiques da Europa. Se algum dia isso acontecer com você (e pode acontecer se você estiver viajando com a Swiss, pois a maioria dos vôos dessa companhia faz escala lá antes de seguir para o destino final), não entre em pânico.

O aeroporto internacional fica a cerca de 20 minutos, de trem, do centro da cidade que mais do que vale uma visita. A seguir, um roteiro que garante umas quatro horas de passeio, por pouco mais de 50 francos suíços (menos de R$ 80).

Para começar, compre, por 12 francos suíços, um passe de trem que vale para o dia inteiro e dá direito à viagem de ida e volta.

Leve cartões de crédito, mais uns 50 francos para gastos trocados. O resto da bagagem de mão pode ficar guardada no aeroporto, por até 24 horas, por 7 francos.

Tome o trem S2, que passa na estação que fica no subterrâneo do aeroporto. Desça três estações adiante, na Zürich Hauptbahnhof (Zürich HB), estação central da cidade.

Saia da estação pela Kasernenstrasse, em direção à Gessnerbrücke (ponte), sobre o rio Limmat, que tem escadarias nas margens, onde os zuriquenses tomam sol nos dias de verão.

Depois de atravessar a ponte, continue pela Usteristrasse. Lá fica a loja de departamentos Bernie's, que tem o incrível slogan "man kann nie gut genug aussehen", ou, em tradução livre, "sempre dá pra estar mais chique".

Continue até a Bahnhofstrasse, a rua mais importante da região. Vire à direita. Lá estão as melhores lojas de Zurique, como Prada, Chanel, Armani e Bottega Veneta, e, é claro, as relojoarias e joalherias, como Rolex, Cartier, Bulgari e Gübelin.

Lá, no número 73, você encontra a Big Boyz, loja que tem a melhor seleção de camisetas silkadas, hoods, tênis e streetwear da cidade.

Uma caminhada de cerca de meia hora pela Bahnhofstrasse leva ao porto do lago Zurique. Lá tem um barco que faz um passeio de 40 minutos. Você pode também ficar sentado à sombra das árvores na pracinha de Bürkliplatz, onde fica a estátua de Ganimedes e a águia, em frente ao pier.

Volte pela Bahnhofstrasse até a Schweizergasse e entre à esquerda. Com 20 francos dá para comer uma torta de queijo com tomate e tomar uma taça de vinho na lanchonete simpática da Globus, a loja de departamentos chique da cidade.

Depois do almoço vá até a confeitaria Sprüngli, na Löwenstrasse 49, a duas quadras da Globus. Com sorte, lá você come a trufa do dia (e essa dica estou repassando de minha amiga fina suíça Olivia Hanssen). E digo "com sorte" porque essa trufa é, como o nome diz, "do dia" e acaba. Compre logo uma caixa com seis, por 12 francos.

Agora, mesmo que você não tenha tido a sorte suprema de provar a trufa do dia, pense que você já suficientemente sortudo de estar em Zurique, na Sprüngli, e coma qualquer outro chocolate da loja. Depois, peça um spresso (5 francos) na cafeteria deles.

Pronto, agora você pode voltar para a Zürich BH e tomar seu S2 de volta para o aeroporto.

LA BELLA ACTRIZ EN VENREANO 2008

Es muss wohl Mitte der 90er gewesen sein als ich meinen "Bollerwagen" mit Dingen die ich nicht mehr brauchte oder die ich von Bekannten bekommen hatte, belud um sie auf dem Flohmarkt in Essen-Borbeck zu verkaufen. Nicht sehr regelmäßig aber ab und an habe ich dabei einen guten Umsatz erwirtschaftet und das obwohl die Kundschaft in Sachen feilschen sehr hartnäckig war.

Eines Sommers war ich also wieder auf dem Flohmarkt. Die Sonne brannte und ich hatte es mir, im Klappstuhl und im Schatten sitzend, gemütlich gemach als ein Mann auf mich zukam und mir einen Globus abkaufte.
Zu diese Zeitpunkt besaß ich zwei Stück also konnte ich mich von einem trennen. Er war sehr dankbar und ich erhielt 10,- DM dafür. Später machte er noch ein Bild was mir ein wenig komisch vorkam aber dachte ich nicht weiter darüber nach und schon am darauffolgenden Tag befand sich ein Artikel mit einem Bild auf dem ich zu sehen bin auf der Titelseite der Borbecker Nachrichten.

Ich habe den Artikel von Seite eins für euch einmal online gestellt. Den Artikel im Innenteil habe ich leider nicht gefunden allerdings handelte er vom Treiben auf dem Flohmarkt und endete in etwas so: "[...] ,denn wo sonst bekommt man noch einen so gut erhaltenen Globus, der sogar von innen beleuchtet werden kann, für nur 10,-DM?"

I naravno da nemam globus pri ruci, enciklopedija mi ič ne pomaže, toliko sam guglala da sam oguglala skroz, i pošto od svega toga nema vajde ja izmislila jedno mesto. Ostrvsko. Dvaestri stepena prosečna godišnja temperatura. Ponesite samo bermude i japanke i dve majce. Gaće ne treba. Sitan pesak upada u guzicu. Pa da ne upada i u gaće džaba.

Doesn't it just look so yummy?  It was all worth the trouble.  Kainis lang cuz I have to pay extra for gravy here (which I didn't buy).  I've tried it before.  Mas masarap yung nasa Pinas.  Speaking of Pinas, as expected I saw some Filipinos there.  It seems to be the fast food of choice by our kababayans. 

You know what's missing here?  The fudge brownies.  But then I can make my own now :-)

 So here's how it goes: Last summer, our family went on a really peaceful vacation to Bad Brambach, Germany.  It was so peaceful, we were feeling somewhat 'lost' without the convenience of a super center of some type.  Low and behold!, during one of our daily excursions, we happened upon a Globus, (think Super Walmart).

As we made the rounds in this huge store, I remembered why we came to Germany in the first place... to escape this hustle and bustle of our every day lives.  But then, well, let's just say I spotted some woolen goody-ness and all was forgotten.  We walked out of the store 25 minutes later with some needed supplies and two bags full of yarn.

 Flash forward a few months to September, when my sister announced that she and her fabulous boyfriend were engaged! Can we say 'squee!'?  A September 2008 wedding was planned.   I resolved that I was going to knit my sister a lace stole for her wedding, something she will have forever.

Well, as with most things in life, plans change... four times.  The date was moved around to various dates in September, then to the summer, then to the spring.  Two weeks ago, my dear sister let us all know that she and fiance are going to elope, in early March.  !!!  I went from having plenty of time to knit something beautiful to four weeks!   I am a turtle knitter folks, this news was not taken lightly.

Still, I was determined.  I thumbed through every book and magazine I owned, I searched every pattern in my computer, I Googled  'lace stoles' for hours.  There was just no way I could make the design I wanted in the given amount of time, not at my knitting pace.  I felt anxiety and depression as I was about to concede and join the other well wishers in sending a gift card to Bed Bath and Beyond or Williams-Sonoma.  Grump.

A few days later, as I reluctantly re-shelved my knitting books and magazines, a page fell out of Interweave Knits, Fall 2004... The Flower Basket Shawl by Evelyn A. Clark.  This was the one.  It was a short, sweet knit.  Easy-peasy.  Just perfect for a March elopement... not too fancy, packable, wearable.   I went through my stash and chose forgotten yarn from our Germany trip.

 I cast on that evening and finished knitting yesterday.  Last night I hand washed the shawl and pinned it to my blocking board.                                                       

The photo on the top is a true color photo, the other photos are taken without the flash, so as to capture the lace detail.

 This morning, I checked to be sure that the shawl was dry before I started to unpin it. I unpinned the center point first, it rolled up towards the top!  I unpinned three more points, each point doing the same thing, Wha!  I quickly re-pinned the points and stood, starring at the shawl wondering, 'What went wrong? How do I fix this?  Am I going to have to start over?  Will I indeed have to send a gift cards to Williams- Sonoma?' Then, I walked away.   Not by choice, mind you, but I had to walk the older kiddies down to the bus stop. 

 Once the bus closed it's door, I sprinted home.  Visual: Imagine a pregnant woman, in her substitute pjs (yoga pants and WMH t-shirt), hair a mess, no make up, running down your road in the early morning.  Ha.  

 Again, I stood before the shawl.  Where did I go wrong?  I still do not know.  Now I am searching the net, asking knitting gurus this question.  I am also pondering as to whether or not I should break out the iron and steam block... but first I have to find the iron because it gets little to no use in this house.  Have any dear reader run into this situation?  Please share or I will indeed be sending my sister a gift certificate and this shawl will become a dust rag.

Aquest cap de setmana, gràcies al Dani i la Txell, em disfrutat d'un viatge amb Globus per la Cerdanya. Ha sigut increïble, us ho recomano al 100x100, és una sensació nova que mai havia experimentat, està durant 2 hores volant per la Cerdanya, m'ha agradat molt. Aniré penjant fotos al meu Flickr, i podreu veure millor que és el vaig fer. Si algú s'anima l'empresa que ho organitza és diu Kon-Tiki.

4 vittorie (3 in casa, 1 in trasferta) in 7 giornate di Super10, 3 derby vinti su 3, Battaglini imbattuto.
+15 punti in classifica rispetto alla scorsa stagione, 5^ posizione in solitaria davanti a squadre come Calvisano e Capitolina (‘superiori' per budget, numero di giocatori ed ambizioni), rispettivamente 1 e 2 punti dietro Petrarca ed Overmach (squadre che ambiscono alla finale scudetto), a soli 5 punti di distanza dalla vetta della classifica (Benetton e Viadana).
L'impreventivabile momento della nuova FemiCZ Rugby Rovigo -tutta figlia del recente passato rossoblu con (fra gli altri) Brunello, Flaviano e Paolo Brizzante, Alberto Moscardi, Giulio Baratella, De Stefani e Doriano Barion- senza alcun dubbio la squadra rivelazione del Super10 2007/08, si può riassumere in queste poche ma significative cifre.
Numeri che dicono anche altro: dall'inizio dell'era Super10 (stagione 2001/02) i Bersaglieri non occupavano infatti la 5^ posizione in classifica, dopo 7 giornate, da ben 4 annate sportive; il precedente risale all'allora ARD Rugby Rovigo -squadra rivelazione di quella stagione- trascinata da elementi del calibro di Lobrauco, Wium, Martin, Dal Maso, Giorgadze, Antonio Pavanello e Peens. Una squadra penalizzata da una costruzione tardiva, ritardi negli stipendi e lasciata sola dalla dirigenza poco dopo metà stagione, ma ugualmente capace di rimanere in lizza per il 4^ posto fino all'ultima giornata, il sogno playoff ad infrangersi a Monigo: di fronte, un Benetton imbattibile. Una rosa rossoblu, quella, assemblata da Marzio Zanato e cresciuta con il vice Massimo Brunello, guarda caso ora alla guida dei rossoblu.

Numeri, coincidenze, analogie che si fermano dove inizia a prendere corpo la personalità di questa squadra, che opposta al Gran Parma è stata capace di portare a casa 4 punti preziosissimi per la proiezione nella parte alta di una classifica cortissima, grazie ai concomitanti risultati favorevoli. Successo, quello sulla squadra biancazzurra, contraddistinto ancora una volta dalla capacità di soffrire, impedendo con ogni mezzo ai parmigiani persino di racimolare il punticino di bonus dopo 7' di recupero. Gara 'chiusa' sabato al Battaglini, sicuramente la meno spettacolare fra le 3 finora disputate in casa, ma era difficile attendersi qualcosa di diverso contro un Gran disperatamente a caccia di punti salvezza, forte di un pack pesante e molto organizzato (Manuel Ferrari docet) sia nelle fasi statiche che in maul. E' così che Rovigo, come annunciato alla vigilia, ha cercato di tenere il baricentro del proprio gioco lontano dai primi otto uomini avversari, attraverso punti d'incontro brevi grazie alle dinamicità e tecnica di Mahoney e Bocchini, con alternanze di penetrazioni sull'asse (Orlandi, Reato, Leguizamon ed Immelman) e ricicli al largo, ove però -a fronte del persistente fuorigioco dei trequarti avversari, peraltro quasi mai ravvisato dal distratto e confusionario fischietto aquilano Passacantando- Bustos e Pizarro non si sono esposti al rischio di intercetti; pochi pertanto i palloni giunti nelle mani di Bacchetti e Calanchini.

I primi 40' sono così trascorsi con Rovigo in incessante possesso e controllo territoriale, capace di inanellare spettacolarmente fasi su fasi spendendo molte energie con il pack, persistendo nella costante di questa prima parte di stagione: la poca incisività nella finalizzazione (6-0 il parziale), per scelte sbagliate sull'ultimo passaggio o sostegno millimetricamente tardivo in tre limpide occasioni da meta con Bacchetti (il giovane rossoblu ha ben controllato in attacco e messo in difficoltà in difesa Tahana, spesso aiutato dai raddoppi di Wakarua) e Pizarro (ormai proverbiale nel battere fisicamente il diretto avversario). L'incapacità realizzativa su azione ha pertanto giustamente consigliato Bustos, Scanavacca e Basson -impeccabile sui calci di Wakarua e disciplinato nei contrattacchi- ad usare molto il piede.

Rovigo in meta ci va anche, proprio su crosskick di Pizarro telecomandato direttamente nelle mani di Calanchini, scattato sull'out sinistro, ma il guardalinee segnala il pestaggio della linea laterale da parte dell'ala italo-argentina.
Con un punteggio basso e spazi mancanti, i bersaglieri modificano lievemente il proprio piano di gioco nel s.t., affidandosi ad una maggiore aggressività sugli u&u con cui Calanchini, Bustos e Basson mandano a montare Leguizamon, Immelman ed Ayala. Non è un caso che arrivi da qui l'unica marcatura rossoblu al 13', su iniziativa al piede di Calanchini; pallone recuperato da Bustos appena dentro la metacampo parmense su mancata presa al volo di un avversario, rigiocato velocemente per lo stesso Calanchini; difesa rotta e fissata con palla servita a Pizarro nei 22 m. del Gran, per la fuga vincente in bandiera. Bustos converte dalla linea laterale destra (13-3), sancendo il proprio stato di grazia in quanto a capacità realizzativa al piede.

La meta di Pizarro è l'ultimo vero acuto offensivo rossoblu, assieme ai due pericolosi forcing personali da parte di Mahoney (più volte provocato nel primo tempo e capace di rispondere dentro i binari del gioco), allo sfortunato rimbalzo per Calanchini sull'ennesimo crosskick servito da Scanavacca, ed al 3 vs 2 non sfruttato da Pizarro, 2' dopo. Quasi normale che il pack bersagliere cali negli ultimi 20', dopo la mole di energie spese nel primo tempo, preoccupazione che aleggiava prima del match data la mancanza di ritmo gara da parte di Bocchini, all'esordio stagionale e chiamato a sostituire un Faliva sempre più pietra angolare della mischia rossoblu.

La partita si è così decisa nei 15' minuti passati poco al di qua e poco al di là della linea di meta del Rovigo: con Orlandi espulso temporaneamente dopo 4 ingaggi sui propri 5 m. ed il concomitante infortunio di Mahoney (dentro Damiano per Ayala), la mischia rossoblu in inferiorità numerica ha subìto la spinta avversaria, ma Legora, Scanavacca e Leguizamon hanno battuto sul tempo Mannato e l'ex-rossoblu Mazzantini: palla schizzata fuori dai piedi del n.° 8 biancazzurro, con il mediano rossoblu ad allontanare la minaccia. Il Gran recupera palla e tenta di imbastire una piattaforma di attacco attraverso 3 pick&go consecutivi, ma i placcaggi in avanzamento dei Bersaglieri (ancora Leguizamon -sempre più sorpresa in positivo dello scacchiere rossoblu-, l'onnipresente Legora e Reato) portano al nervosismo Mazzantini che calpesta il neo-entrato Damiano, in sospetto fuorigioco. Gran in 14 e ‘vittoria ai punti' per il pack bersagliere, reduce dalla proficua cura tri-settimanale Lupini/Brizzante.

Va individuata quasi certamente qui la radice della predisposizione con cui la FemiCz -seppur penalizzata oltremodo ed a tratti inspiegabilmente da Passacantando- ha eretto con i primi otto uomini la commovente diga al forcing del Gran negli ultimi minuti, con l'emblema posto a tempo scaduto da Immelman, autore del placcaggio decisivo su un ingordo Tahana, capace -al 47' già scoccato- di ignorare nei 22 rossoblu i due liberissimi compagni in sostegno a destra.
La ventina di giorni di distanza dalla trasferta del Flaminio con la Capitolina (le due squadre hanno di comune accordo richiesto ed ottenuto lo spostamento del match dal 5 al 12 Gennaio) giunge indubbiamente al momento opportuno in casa rossoblu, onde verificare le condizioni di Mahoney (elemento prezioso quanto sfortunato) e recuperare al meglio Badocchi, Faliva, Gasparini e Britz.

7: German Bustos calcia per il 16-3. Anche sabato quasi perfetta la sua prova dalla piazzola.

G is exhausted by the trip by this point and is manically scootering around the apartment, bumping into things and doing his best to be as loud as he can. It's time for an adventure. So, off we go to the train station without a clue as to where we are going, which is how adventures should begin. N,E and I had been eyeing up Winterthur to have a look at and to take some photos, so I decided that that would be our destination. I remember seeing that there was a science museum there or something that was kid-friendly.

At the train station convenience store we get a nutritious lunch that consists of meat sticks, pizza crackers, and most importantly a supply of chocolate. Not just any chocolate, but chocolate with real banana pulp in the middle! The acquisition of lunchtime food, however, made us miss a train and we had to wait in the cold with our only consolation being the food we could now munch. The food wasn't worth the wait. The Swiss may do many things well, but crisp-like snacks are not one of them.

Finally, G and I make it to Winterthur! We walk briskly away from the train station and study maps that I hoped would give me some idea of where this science museum. I soon realised that this was a fruitless exercise and we wouldn't be going to the museum. I informed G, who took it in stride. We busied ourselves by walking toward the church you could see that was near the station. Saint Peter's Church as it turns out and quite an average-looking church as well. At least it was something to take pictures of. Which is more than I can say for the rest of Winterthur that was in walking distance of the station. The one highlight was the playground that we found on the way back from our little jaunt. It had some interesting riding toys, including a duck and frog. That day he was pretending to be one of my superheroes from the days we used to play City of Heroes online. So he said "I'm Galvanic. On a duck!" Which I thought was funny at the time.

On the way back, we got off at the wrong stop and then got off at the wrong stop again. So, we were a bit late getting back to Base Bassersdorf. But nobody noticed anything had gone wrong.

While tea was cooking, N,E and I were convinced to go back into town to see the impressive Christmas decorations that had put up at the big department store in Zurich, Globus. It was cold outside! I kept my hands in my pockets; out of winter's way. Except when I took some pictures, of course. The xmas decor was as good as promised and we almost bought a while range of homewares from the store, but ended up getting very little. They did have a version of E's coffee machine that had flip switches instead of pushbuttons. I really liked that quite a bit.

On our way back from Zurich, we wanted to get a nice cake for dessert and to thank our hosts for their hospitality. So we had a look for cakes in the Zurich Hauptbahnhof, but they were not in the casual cake price bracket. Maybe something for a wedding or a wake or to serve the Queen. We did eventually find a nice Black Forest chocolate cake and brought it home. Turns out to be EH's favourite kind of cake. So it was a happy ending after all!

After tea and cake, we all played RoboRally, which I hadn't done in years and years and years. So many years that I didn't remember the rules. N,E came out blazing in the game, though, shoving robots into pits and blasting them with her laser. She'd nearly destroyed everyone within the first few opening turns. I would have won the game, if I'd kept my mouth shut about it. Instead, EH juryrigged a turn based on knowing I would win and prevented me! And then we all stayed up an extra two hours before N,E and I just decided to quit and go to bed. The moral of the story is to not boast of your winning before you actually win!
