Qu'est ce qu'un advergame ?

On le sait tous (où on ne le sait pas encore), les advergames sont destinés à répondre aux besoins de communication des entreprises. L'advergame ou le jeu vidéo publicitaire par l'expérience ludique et agréable qu'il propose, permet de créer une relation immédiatement positive entre une entreprise et un joueur, futur consommateur (si tout va bien). Les advergames s'inscrivent dans le cadre d'une stratégie de buzz marketing.

Une forte influence

Des études ont montré que les taux de clics avec un advergame étaient 10 fois supérieur à ceux des bannières publicitaires classiques. Aujourd'hui le secteur de l'advergame est en pleine extension et beaucoup d'entreprises désireuses d'étendre leur cercle d'influence utilisent cet outil.

Les plus grandes marques comme Axe, Intel, Dodge, Orangina ou encore Ubisoft en sont friands. Et comme vous pouvez le constater les domaines dans lesquels ces mini-jeux sont utilisées, sont divers et variés.

Le secteur se développe

Le secteur est encore jeune et pas encore développé au maximum. Des travaux et thèses sur le sujet commencent à apparaitre. La dernière en date est la thèse de Sébastien Coulaud (téléchargeable ici). Son étude porte sur l'inégalité sexuel devant les advergames. Cette étude arrive à la conclusion que les hommes jouent plus en ligne que les femmes et apprécient moins un jeu lorsqu'ils découvrent que le jeu promeut une marque.

Un problème pour les advergames ?

Intensional relations which made up many essentialist descriptions are nothing more than the triangulating capacities of a body to projectively report upon conditions of the shared world such that it is causally related to it, and these relations resulting in qualities and experiences make little sense outside of this triangulation since they provide the connective tissue between ourselves and the world and others.

To speak of paschonta, things suffered or experienced (instead of phenomena, things being made to appear) is to read the world both causally and bodily. We regularly read the paschonta of others, (and the paschonta of ourselves).

Build a table using directions, measurements, exemplar and you have followed extensional paths. While building the table listen to the report of wood as you strike it, the feel of the joints as they are joined, and you have followed paschonta, the intensional path. The two paths are braided.

The problem with phenomenal descriptions, and why they should be replaced by paschontal descriptions, is that they encourage a representational view of the world, one in which the "picture" of something is imagined to match up with the real thing on occasions of true sentences. Paschonta, rather, are the experiences themselves, as we imagine others to experience them (or our own experiences as we take a reflexive view upon them), such that our relations to others and the world we share makes sense.

Dualists mistake paschonta for things in-themselves (imagining a kind of extensional intensionality), rather than for relations between perceptile bodies, the felt of report.

Apparently XUL trees don't have any event handler to intercept scrolling operations so I run the risk to became crazy.

After days spent to find a solution (using google) without result I've tried to use the DOMAttrModified event and amazingly it worked.

First I add a listener to the tree (VisualDiffer adds listeners to left and right trees)

Not any more, it would seem. Thanks to increasing media coverage of celebrities embroiled in petty defamation debates, and those incessant 'no win no fee' adverts on TV where a mouth-breathing numpty talks us through the terrible day they fell off a chair at work and were subsequently lavished with eight thousand pounds, everybody wants a piece of the compensation pie.

Not long ago we heard about the chronic gambler who tried to sue William Hill for more than £2 million after an administrative error meant that he was able to continue betting after he'd asked them to 'exclude him'. He was then quoted as saying: "The fact is that I did try to go through the right procedures and I was let down." What planet is this man living on to assume that asking the bookies - where he frittered away over £7.5 million - to keep an eye on his gambling habits would constitute the 'right procedure?' 

Then yesterday, the courts awarded substantial damages to the parents of a boy who had suffered brain damage as the result of an accident on a bouncy castle. The couple who hired the bouncy castle have been sued for negligence, on the basis that the boy, who has Asperger syndrome, was allowed on the bouncy castle and was inadequately supervised. Surely, if the boy's illness is such that he requires continual supervision, his parents would have done well not to leave him at a child's party with an unqualified couple responsible for looking after hordes of other children too?

The Independent has a good article on cases like these, mainly from America (surprise surprise), which I read with growing indignance. I later relayed my views to my housemate, who's just managed to wangle herself a two week extension on her dissertation because she has a cold, who told me about a friend of hers who managed to sue our local council for £2500. Apparently this girl was responsible for a pile up at a roundabout, but claimed that it was the council's fault that she couldn't see the road signs properly, because they weren't placed adequately for short people.

Where has the attitude come from? In the golden days of yore people subscribed to the 'whatever doesn't kill you makes you stronger' school of thought and accepted that they should probably keep their damn eyes open when walking over a cobbled street or probably shouldn't have that supersized burger meal if they've already had two heart attacks. But now the smallest taint of misfortune demands compensation and extensions and shouts of 'me me me!' and cries of entitlement. Our grandparents would be disgusted.

Es una extensión muy sencilla pero es útil, consiste en poner un determinado color a un tab/pestaña en el firefox, si le das doble click a la pestaña puedes ir cambiando de color: rojo, azul, amarillo y verde; personalmente la utilizo para diferenciar rapidamente las páginas de diferentes entornos: desarrollo y producción (real), si bien es cierto con mirar la URL ya las puedes diferenciar pero los recursos visuales nunca estan demás. Al momento de utilizarla no me gusto que al abrir una nueva pestaña me la ponga de color rojo, luego el color de la fuente lo deja siempre en negro y cuando el color de la pestaña es rojo, azul y verde no destaca el titulo de la pestaña. He modificado el codigo para mi uso personal:

1.- Las nuevas pestañas aparecen sin color por defecto
2.- El color de la fuente es blanco para las pestañas con color rojo, azul y verde

Siempre he creido que la potencia del Open Office es superior al MS Office.    Y tenia razón.    Este post es para aquellos que consideran al de Microsoft superior.

¿Sabias que tu OpenOffice es capaz, tal y como el firefox, de cargar una serie, muchisimos si se quiere, de extensiones disponibles?

En este sitio, http://extensions.services.openoffice.org/, podrás hallar extensiones como:

eFax:   Trabaja con Open Office y con StarOffice, su primo.    Esta extensión envia y recibe fax con la suite, sin necesidad de la maquinita de facsímil.

OxygenOffice Professional Galleries:  Añada dibujos, cliparts, del Proyecto OxigenOffice.   Este proyecto crea y colecciona galerias de diseños y un sin numero de diseños para el usuario.

OOoLatex: Es un juego de diseños para proveer el soporte que necesita Open Office para converirlo en  un Latex, el editor de textos especializados.    La extensión contiene dos modulos permitiendo la inserción de equaciones con formato de imagenes emf o png.

Puedes instalar las extensiones de varias maneras:

• Abriendo "Herramientas", "Administrador de Extensiones", seleccionando  "Mis extensiones" y dandole al boton de "Añadir".
• Haciendo doble click sobre el archivo oxt en tu administrador de archivos (Nautilus, Dolphin, etc).
• O desde la página clickeando en el hyperlink del archivo oxt.

Lo anterior es tomado de la página oficial, por lo que las traducciones pueden no ser muy eficientes.  Me perdonan.   Ya quiero llegar a casa para probarlo !!
