This is the first post of my whirlwind trip to NY/NJ this past weekend. Had such a great time, great friends, people, four wonderful shoots.  I'm posting the sneak previews chronologically to be fair, so stay tuned!

Dropping my bags in my rental car I sped off to Rutgers University for this session with this beautiful couple that I will photograph walking down the aisle almost exactly a year from today! They warmed up soon after the session started and were super excited to be documenting their relationship (almost as excited as I was..but not quite. I love my job!!)

I think DC and its surrounding areas are absolutely beautiful. I met up with Girls with Big Cameras again for another engagement session with Tara & Andrew in Old Town Alexandria. It was the week after the big 4th of July celebration but Old Town still looked patriotic and proud.

The engagement session was originally planned for Old Town, Alexandria but mother nature had other plans for that part of town. So we moved the location to historical part of downtown Fairfax at the Joshua Gunnell house which has been around since 1830.

Ein Redesign meiner Hochzeitsfoto-Homepage steht an, Hochzeitsalben wollen gestaltet werden, das Forum Hochzeitsfotografie entwickelt sich, und schließlich steht in Kürze wieder ein Trash-The-Dress an. Nicht zu vergessen: die Hochzeitssaison steht vor der Tür.

Danach kamen Garrett und Marianna und wir haben uns entschlossen, für ihre eSession mit dem Highflyer in die Luft zu steigen. Leider mussten wir eine Stunde in der Schlange anstehen, aber der Ausblick in den Sonnenuntergang hat sich dennoch gelohnt!
