Al primero de los favoritos le encontramos en el segundo puesto y es el Schalke 04, que goleó al Hannover 96 y ya espera al Atlético para jugarse la participación en la champions. Abrió el marcador el central Bordon, de cabeza en un corner, y luego hizo un doblete Kuranyi.

El tercero en la clasificación es el Stuttgart tras ganar al recién ascendido Borussia M. Buen comienzo para los de Armin Veh, que dentro de dos semanas tendrán el partido de vuelta de la Uefa. El primer gol llegó con un cañonazo de Hitzlsperger desde la frontal, el segundo en un tiro dentro del área de Marica y el tercero llegaba en una jugada de Mario Gómez. El gol del Borussia lo marcó Friend en un despiste de la defensa.

El actual campeón, el Bayern, empató en su primer partido frente al Hamburgo, sin duda un gran partido para empezar la liga. Se adelantaron los de Munich con un gol de Schweinsteiger llegando desde la segunda línea, el segundo lo marcaría Podolski de penalti, a mi parecer injusto, y antes del descanso marcaba el primero Guerrero de cabeza. Ya en la segunda parte llegaba el empate por medio de Trochowski, también tras un penalti muy dudoso.

Otro de los que falló la primera jornada fue el W. Bremen que sólo empató frente al A. Bielefeld. Los de Bremen se colocan en la posición undécima, pero me imagino que iran subiendo a lo largo del año. Dos jugadores marcaron los cuartro goles del partido, Rosenberg los del Bremen y Wichniarek los del Arminia.

Das wird mit Sicherheit auch für Jürgen Klinsmann spannend, der nach einem Unentschieden zuhause schon die ersten Presse-Bundestrainer gegen sich hat. Aber da muss man doch einfach nur eines sagen - gebt ihm Zeit, dem guten Mann! Und dann werden alle sehen, dass er mit Sicherheit lange und erfolgreich bei den Bayern sein wird. Immerhin hat der FCB dieses Mal einen Punkt gegen den HSV geholt, der in der Vergangenheit ja durchaus auch schon mal in der Allianz Arena gewonnen hat. Und man darf ja eines nicht vergessen - mit Ribery, Toni und Co fehlen immerhin ein paar zentrale Säulen der Mannschaft.

Mit einem Start-Ziel-Sieg der Bayern wird es in dieser Saison also nichts. Aber wer kämpft um den Titel? Wer schnuppert an Europa? Wer geht in die endlich wieder eingeführte Relegation? Und wer geht den bitteren Gang ins Unterhaus an?

Klar - es ist früh, viel zu früh, um dazu wirklich fundierte Aussagen zu machen. Aber ein paar Dinge fallen einem am ersten Spieltag auf jeden Fall auf:

Danke, Kloppo. Das kann man aus Dortmunder Sicht schon nach dem ersten Spieltag sagen. Es hat endlich wieder richtig Spaß gemacht dem BVB zuzuschauen. Und das Sorgenkind Nelson Valdez begeistert mit Einsatz, Spielfreude, Vorlagen und einem Tor. Fast so, als wäre der "Spielerflüsterer" Kloppo hier in kurzer Zeit schon wieder erfolgreich gewesen. Da kann man sich nur freuen, wenn nun auch noch sein Lieblingsschüler Mohamed Zidan zu seinem Lieblingstrainer zurückkehrt. Und dann gehts los - in schwarz und gelb...und rechnen müssen wir mit dem BVB auf jeden Fall höher als in den vergangenen Jahren. Zum Glück.

Ein paar Kilometer weiter ist Fred Rutten auf Schalke bereits angekommen und hat trotz vieler verletzter Spieler den Geheimtipp für den UEFA-Cup-Platz aus Hannover nahezu überrollt. Und Kuranyi trifft von Anfang an. Da bleibt mit Spannung abzuwarten, was man aus Schalke noch erwarten kann.

Und was machen die anderen üblichen Verdächtigen, die als potenzielle Bayern-Jäger gelten? Der HSV holt ohne van der Vaart gleich mal einen Punkt in München, die Bremer lassen mit einer soliden Leistung einen Punkt bei den kampfstarken Bielefeldern und der VfB Stuttgart zeigt mit einem bärenstarken Jens Lehmann eine ordentliche Leistung mit einem ungefährdeten Sieg bei den Fohlen.

Aus der Reihe der Geheimtipps kämpft sich der VfL Wolfsburg zu einem Sieg gegen bockige Geißböcke, die aber mit Sicherheit noch für Furore sorgen werden. Denn diese Mannschaft mit Petit und Kollegen ist stark. Und wenn Christoph Daum die neuen in seine Mannschaft einbaut wird im Kollektiv doch einiges möglich sein.

Kollektiv - das ist das richtige Synonym für den KSC, den jeder eigentlich von Anfang an eher als Absturz-Kandidaten gesehen hat. Aber das könnte ganz anders kommen, wenn man sieht, wie Edes Jungs den VfL Bochum dominiert haben und die Spannung einzig und allein deshalb im Spiel blieb, weil beim KSC keine Chancen verwertet wurden. Stellvertretend für das Selbstvertrauen der Mannschaft war das Statement von Matchwinner Christian Eichner auf die Frage, ob sein Schuss denn wirklich Absicht wart. Sinngemäß antwortete der Verteidiger, dass er es nicht verstehen kann, dass sich der linke Verteidiger des KSC immer rechtfertigen muss, wenn er schießt und dass sich alle sicher sein können, dass es Absicht war. Denn den Abschluss zu suchen, das habe der Trainer von ihm gefordert. Recht so - blöde Frage der Jorunalisten, souveräne und begeisternde Antwort des Linksverteidigers!

Begeisternd - das ist ein Adjektiv, das man mit dem Spiel der Hertha in Frankfurt verbinden muss. Seit die Hertha das letzte Mal so gespielt hat, sind schon einige Spieltage ins Land gezogen. Und es scheint so, dass Lucien Favre mit seinem Konzept endgültig auf dem richtigen Kurs liegt. Hoffen wir mal das Beste - für den Trainer, die Mannschaft, die Hauptstadt und vor allem für die Fans und den Zuschauerschnitt. Und die Eintracht wird noch kommen!

Final - wer machts in dieser Saison?

Über einen Meister Bayern München muss man nicht diskutieren, der Kampf um die Champions League wird in meinen Augen zwischen Schalke, Werder dem VfB Stuttgart und den Wölfen entschieden. Mit im Spiel um Europa sehe ich den HSV, Bayer, den BVB und, ehrlich, die Hoffenheimer...

Im roten Bereich der Tabelle tummeln sich die üblichen Verdächtigen aus Cottbus und Bochum, während sich der Relegations-Kandidat aus den restlichen Vereinen ergeben wird.

Ob es so kommt - schau mer mal. Aber Hauptsache der Ball rollt!

Der Kontrollausschuss des Deutschen Fußball-Bundes (DFB) hat am Montag die Ermittlungen wegen der Ausschreitungen bei den DFB-Pokalspielen zwischen dem Halleschen FC und Hannover 96 sowie Tennis Borussia Berlin und Energie Cottbus aufgenommen. Alle vier Vereine werden vom DFB-Kontrollausschuss um eine schriftliche Stellungnahme zu den Vorfällen bei den Begegnungen am Wochenende gebeten.

Das DFB-Pokalspiel in Halle musste von Schiedsrichter Lutz Wagner (Hofheim) in der 80. Minute für acht Minuten wegen Ausschreitungen auf den Zuschauerrängen unterbrochen werden. Ebenfalls zu Ausschreitungen auf den Zuschauerrängen kam es beim Spiel in Berlin. In beiden Fällen konnte erst durch einen massiven Polizeieinsatz die Situation beruhigt werden.

Bayern München
Last season's champions and everything looks set for them to win the whole damn thing once more this year. Let's face it, no other team in Germany has the money or the reputation to compete with Bayern on a national level. There are the occasional contenders like Bremen or Schalke (just for laughs), but when it comes to continuity Bayern is top notch. Still they weren't able to do anything on an international level since winning the Champions League in 2001. You should have heard their comments before last year's Uefa-Cup competition.  They sounded like they already won the damn trophy. And then they crash out with a glorious 1-4 (or was it 0-4, can't quite remember) defeat against Zenit St. Petersburg. Great entertainment.
Their biggest acquisition over the offseason wasn't a player, it was their coach, Jürgen Klinsmann. A lot will depend on how quick he can adopt to the daily routine of domestic competition. Klinsmann enjoys an almost godlike status in Germany after leading his team into the semifinal of the 2006 World Cup, but noone knows if he is capable of managing a club side. A lot will depend on how Bayern will fare internationally. If things go wrong early in the group stages the rumblings from the omnipresent "Kaiser" Franz Beckenbauer won't make it easy for the coaching staff. Everybody expects Bayern to run away with everything and that's their biggest problem, I think. So while rationally I think there will still be no team to match Bayern domestically, as always I wish them all the worst that can happen to them.
Prediction: Champions

1.FC Köln
Promoted from the 2nd divison in a close finish although they had the highest budget last season their biggest problem will be the extremly high expectations of their supporters. Cologne has an infamous history of people reaching for the stars while standing deep down in their cellar. They win two games in a row and everyone dreams of the championship. They lose two in a row and the whole city is depressed. It took them two years to get back into the first division and they are riding their hopes on the back of coach Christoph Daum, labelled "the messias" in and around Cologne. Daum was at the helm when 1.FC Köln had their last shot at the championship in the late 1980s and since then has been brought up everytime the club was facing a crisis. Now he's coaching the team and since he got here I personally think he failed to deliver. Of course they earned their promotional spot, but the team wasn't playing well. It was more luck than effort.
So now they look to establish themselves in the top division and I personally think that they are simply lacking the players to do so. They lost top striker Patrick Helmes to Bayer Leverkusen and they have no idea how 2nd division top goalscorer Novakovic will do. They got some decent players in Pierre Womé and Portugese international Petit, two moves which will give a boost to their defensive play which was horrible during the last season, but up until now 1.FC Köln acquired players only to wear them down. They might have a chance to stay in the Bundesliga because there are so many other teams which might struggle to survive, but I see them finishing somewhere at the bottom of the table.
Prediction: somewhere between 13-16

Borussia Dortmund
Dortmund had a very disappointing season and the only thing which made it rather successful was the fact that they reached the German cup final and thereby gained a spot in the Uefa-Cup competition. Their defending was abominable with two old men (Robert Kovac, Christian Wörns) trying to look like they were full backs. The team was hit by injuries, e.g. leaving them without their Swiss star striker Alexander Frei. So now Dortmund changed their coach as well and they now have Jürgen Klopp, formerly of 2nd division Mainz 05 on the sideline. Klopp is best known in Germany for his charming analysis of international games during the World Cup and the Euro, but he also managed to hold a small team like Mainz in the Bundesliga for a couple of seasons. No one can predict how he will do in the top league, but he seems to be determined to accept the challenge. The first thing he did was to change the defense which is now labelled "Kinderriegel" by the tabliods. Young defenders, Thomas Hajnal is a new motor in midfield and upfront the supporters still hope that Nelson Valdez will explode some time in the future.
A lot will depend on how many injuries this team has to suffer. If they stay healthy they can go a long way. If they don't, if they start to lose a couple of games in a row, the fan base will start rumbling and they can get very nasty, to say the least.
Predicting: Barring injuries they should have a shot at the international places (5-9)

1899 Hoffenheim
This is the team noone know anything about. No seriously, they came out of nowhere with the money of their big sponsor Jürgen Hopp. Hopp used to play for the youth team of Hoffenheim back in the days and when he was asked to help out the club which was struggling to survive in the early 1990s he took up the challenge and lead it straight into the Bundesliga. Known as the "German Abramovitch" his approach is slightly different. Hoffenheim has one of the best youth systems in German football and the core of their team consists of young players who might be of some value in the future when big clubs might be interested in them. I also read somewhere that he wants the club to make profits after this season so he can pull out of the daily business. So this looks like a do-or-die season for Ralf Rangnick and his coaching staff. Rangnick was hired by Hoffenheim after he was fired at Schalke and soon introduced his technical playing style to the young squad. They seemed to struggle at the beginning of last year's second division season, but they recovered and put on the winning streak which would have them end up on the 2nd spot for promotion.
Noone knows if the team is suited to play top level football, but maybe that's their biggest chance. Their opponents might underestimate them at the beginning and maybe therein lies their chance to grab a few points right at the start of the season. And if things don't go into the right direction they still have Hopp in the background who might make some deals for better players possible.
Prediction: Absolutely no idea, but they should be capable to stay out of relegation troubles (11-15)

Borussia Mönchengladbach
Winners of last years 2nd division Borussia Mönchengladbach return to the Bundesliga after one year of absence. It's rather hard to predict how they will do as well since they didn't bring in a lot of well known players for this season. They still have aging striker Oliver Neuville, they have Marco Marin, who is quite possibly Germany's biggest midfield talent, but apart from them the team doesn't look so frightening. Maybe it's just that they are lacking the big names. They have shown promising signs when during their last campaign though sitting on top of the table for most of the time. Way better than their local rivals 1.FC Köln. But it's hard to say what they will be capable to do in the first division. They are still far away rom their glorious times in the 1970s when they won five championships in that decade.
Prediction: End up somewhere around the bottom half (10-16)

Schalke 04
50 years without a championship and still counting. Schalke have been on the losing side during the season for quite some time now. In 2001 they were champions for four minutes when Bayern tossed them from the throne in injury time, still one of the most heartbreaking finishes of a season. In 2007 they were champions for 10 minutes, but that was at half time and VfB Stuttgart got the title that year. So for Schalke supporters every year is "this is next year" and it will be no different this time. New players include Dutch international Orlando Engelaar and striker Jefferson Farfan which should give them at least some more options in the offense. What Schalke was lacking over most of the last season was constructive play in front of the opponents goal. As much as I appreciate Kevin Kuranyi's efforts as the lone striker up front it's still to much to ask of a player like him. He needs someone he can play with. Also they hope that Ivan Rakitic can provide some inspiration in the midfield after they traded Brazilian playmaker Lincoln to Turkey before last season's start.
Their new coach Fred Rutten who used to work for Dutch club Twente Enschede is a blank page to me. Knowing how short the fuse is for the Schalke management there might be a chance for him to get booted when things don't fall in place quickly.
Prediction: Should get a spot for the Champions League (2-3)

Bayer Leverkusen
Noone knows what got Leverkusen's front office to get rid off coach Michael Skibbe. Skibbe, over the past few years, formed a brilliant playing team of youngsters and oldtimers who played wonderful offensive football, although lacking punch at times. Right after missing a spot in the Uefa-Cup at the end of last season they fired him and he's now working for Galatasaray Istanbul. While working for his previous sides Skibbe was known to give young talent a chance to prove themselves and he did so in Leverkusen as well, providing players like Tranquilo Barnetta, Gonzalo Castro, Stefan Kießling, René Adler or Simon Rolfes with important playing time. In addition to that talent he had developed players like Sergeij Barbarez or Bernd Schneider supporting the yongsters. This all will change for this season. There's a new coach (Bruno Labbadia) and Sergeij Barbarez is gone. While Barbarez always was a rather complicated character I still believe that he had what it takes to keep this team together. As for Labbadia he had some success with lower division clubs but noone knows how he will do as a top level coach. Being a rather aggressive player during his Bundesliga days with clubs like Bayern, Kaiserlslautern or Cologne he might be in for some conflict with the management sooner or later.
Another big setback for the club will be the fact they they won't be able to play at their own stadium for quite some time. The BayArena is getting a facelift so Leverkusen will have to move to Düsseldorf which features a 50.000 seat arena. Considering that the fanbase is centered in Leverkusen itself, a small industrial town close to Cologne, they might have some trouble to create a home game atmosphere there.
Predicition: Should play a role in the decision for the Uefa-Cup spots (5-9)

VfB Stuttgart
Stuttgart had quite an offseason with their top striker Mario Gomez being linked to Bayern München. Gomez had always promised to stay at least for this coming season so this came as a surprise. It wasn't surprising he was doing so badly during the Euro with all that luggage on his back. While keeping Gomez they lost their best defender Fernando Meira. he's been replaced by "the cannibal" Khalid Boulahrouz who burst back onto the scene with a very fine persomance during the summer.
Stuttgart's biggest question mark is ... well, the whole team. They surprised everybody in 2007 when they won the championship with a vaery young team, but the were pretty disappointing last season. It remains to be seen how players like Khedira or Tasci will do this year after such a setback. I expect great things from Thomas Hitzlsperger though. He finally seems to have settled into the important go-to-guy role he can definetely play. When he is at his best Stuttgart should have a chance to compete for an international qualifying spot. If everybody underachieves again they will find themselves in no man's land again.
Predicition: With a Hitzlsperger in form it's somewhere on top of the table (5-9)

Werder Bremen
This is the team who played the most entertaining football over the past few years. When Bremen is playing it's all or nothing every time. You might get to see a splendid performance in which they outscore their opponent big time. But you can also expect them to have quite a few games in which they are simply not clicking. This has been their biggest problem: consistency. And now after losing Tim Borowski and Ivan Klasnic they have been robbed of options. In my eyes they still need one midfielder and one striker to back up those weak parts in their team. Yes, they have the best player in the Bundesliga, Diego. But one guy alone cannot win the team a title. And noone knows what might happen at the Olympics. Will he play? Will he have to go home? If he has to return to Bremen will he be frustrated because he has been robbed of a chance to prove himself on the Selecao? We'll have to wait...
Their defense is pretty solid, but their offense lost important pieces over the past two years. The K&K attack (Klose and Klasnic) is gone and players like Rosenberg or Almeida just don't replace those two top strikers sufficiently. I still have a lot of confidence in coach Thomas Schaaf and the lucky picks of manager Klaus Allofs, but they have to do something soon
Predictions: Sure shot for international competition (2-5)

Hamburger SV
A few days ago averything was looking fine in Hamburg, but ever since Rafael van der Vaart left the club for Real Madrid they don't look like a contender anymore and it seems they will continue their up-and-down trend over the past few years. They were great in 2006, they were miserable in 2007, they came back in 2008, what will it be like in 2009? Up until now they had all their hopes riding on van der Vaart's skills. Now that he is gone and with noone in sight to replace him suddenly everything is in jeopardy. They always had a problem offensively, but while van der Vaart was playing he was also scoring goals thus helping to forget the worries about the fading strikers like Guerrero, Olic and so on. It also seemed like much of last year's success can be credited to coach Huub Stevens who will be replaced by Martin Jol. The question now is how Jol copes with the loss of his playmaker. Will he be able to change the side? I don't have the confidence. They might end up somewhere in the middle of the table at the end of the season. They simply lack the consistency.
Prediction: Somewhere between 7-13

VfL Wolfsburg
This might be THE dark horse of the year. Quietly Wolfsburg was creeping up the table last season and in the end they had a spot in the Uefa-Cup. Wolfsburg have been the target of hate from all fans ever since they were promoted to the first division in 1997. They have a huge sponsor backing them up (Volkswagen), they have absolutely no tradition as a club and as a city, they played horrible football over some parts of their first league stint and they never had any player of interest. This started to change when they acquired Stefan Effenberg when he was fading out his career. Now with Felix Magath as the coach, manager and sporting director in one person they seem to be determined to make it to the top no matter what they have to spend. After being outspent by Bayern at the begging of last season they now got two Italian defenders in Cristian Zaccardo and Andrea Barzagli, both with international caps already. Such a move was completely impossible for the club a few years ago. Magath also changed the goalkeeper last season giving young Swiss international Diego Benaglio a chance. He showed what he is capable of delivering a splendid second half of the season. And Marcelinho might be on a downward spiral but he ist still capable of deciding a game with one free kick.
This side is dangerous and I wouldn't be surprised if they end up higher than where they finished last year. If they start to get on a run there is no way of stopping them. It will be interesting to see how their season turns out. They might come up as one of the big surprises.
Prediction: Between 2-8 everything is possible

Hannover 96
Another dark horse although I wouldn't rate them as highly as I did for Wolfsburg. Hannover has been creeping up the table fromseason to season and since they got Dieter Hecking as their coach things started looking brigther and brighter. They arguably have the best goalkeeper in the Bundesliga in Robert Enke who I consider to be ahead of the rest (including Lehmann). They have acquired reasonably good players for defense and offense in Valerien Ismael, Frank Fahrenhorst and Jan Schlaudraff and they already have a great midfielding playmaker in Szabolcs Huszti. Why won't they make it into the Uefa-Cup? Because I don't think they have reached their full potential yet. But in the future seasons they will defeinetely be a force to be reckoned with. they will tease the big teams this year, but in the end it won't be enough to aim for a top spot.
Prediction: 7-12

Eintracht Frankfurt
The "moody diva" seems to be a thing of the past for Frankfurt supporters as the front office seems to act rather calm lately. Frankfurt has established itself as a mediocre yet safe first division team ever since they were promoted in 2005. They also managed to get great players who performed well for them. Iohannis Amanatidis is a great striker, his colleague Martin Fenin should be able to wreak some havoc as well. Alex Meier sets up his teammates perfectly and even scores from time to time, both goalkeepers, Oka Nikolov and often injured Markus Pröll provide excelent stabilty in the defense and they have a bunch of young players who could go far. Could. The performance of the team was somewhat erratic for too often last season and with the departure of Sotirios Kyrgiakos I see a big hole in the defense. Their season depends on how well coach Friedhelm Funkel can adopt to this situation. If they come up with a clean start, everything is possible, but if they struggle early they might find themselves at the bottom of the table for quite some time.
Prediction: Lower half of the table (10-15)

Hertha BSC Berlin
Berlin has been a huge disappointment over the past few years. Every year thy set out to be the next contestant for a shot at the title, every year they fail miserably. It's true, they have what it takes to become a big club with all their surroundings in Germany's capital, but I my eyes the management ruins it all. They have one of the best youth departments in German football, but up until now they weren't able to reap the fruits they planted over the years. Their side is young, that's true, but there had been no impact player last season. I guess this will be another rebuilding year for Berlin again. They simply lack the leader on the pitch. Even someone as proven as German international Arne Friedrich is in no position to help (I find him rather overated anyway). I don't see any confidence in the team and when things get worse the audience will turn against them.  If this happens things could get dangerous. They were on the verge of relegation before and if it happens again they might go down for good.
Prediction: Middle part of the table (9-14)

Karlsruher SC
Remarkably strong over the first half of last season, as equally mediocre or worse over the rest. Karlsruhe will face a tough task in their second year in the Bundesliga. They have lost key players in Thomas Hajnal (to Dortmund) and Mario Eggimann (to Hannover) and a Rambo-like defender like Maik Franz is not enough to keep opposing strikers in check. I don't see them put up a streak like the one they had during the first half last year so they will really struggle. If they are lucky they will be back next year, but if everything falls into place they will go down once again.
Prediction: Bottom of the table all the way (14-18)

Energie Cottbus
I always wonder how Cottbus manage to stay in the league. Quite frankly they won't be missed by many of the west German supporters. But they have the support of the whole region and last season they really started a run which garantueed them a spot in this year's Bundesliga. Cottbus are quite infamous for fielding completely international sides without any German players, something opposing fans always hold up against them (although one has to admit that this is happening anywhere now with the Bosman decision). It's hard to predict where they will end up in May because of their resilliance but they won't have it easy again. this will be a struggle until the last day of the season in my eyes.  At best they end up somewhere around 12th place. At worst they go down.
Predicition: As said, 12-18

VfL Bochum
Once known as "unabsteigbar" ("unrelegateable", does this make any sense?) and therefore being the team generally overlooked by others simply because they never stood out Bochum has been going back and forth between Bundesliga 1 and 2 over the past few years. With coach Marcel Koller they finally have found someone to get the most out of the team and that they have been able to get a player like Shinji Ono shows that their reputation must have gotten a little better over the years. Still they don't have the potential to climb up the table. Although I doubt they will be relegated at the end of the season they will still be in the race for a spot in the Bundesliga for most of the time.
Prediction: Somewhere around 12-15

Arminia Bielefeld
Why are Bielefeld still around? Well, last year had some really stupid teams playing in the Bundesliga which gives this really horrible squad a chance to redem themselves. But that won't happen, they are my sure shot for going down to the second division. There's simply no talent there. And I don't see them making any progress over the season. They might have their moments, but all in all it should be now surprise when they end up in last place at the end of the season. A team which only stays in the Bundesliga because of the stupidity of their opponents cannot have the same luck twice, that's my belief.
Prediction: 18 and out.

Der Titel des Kommentars "High-Tech kein Leistungsgarant" verrät die Zweifel am neuen "System" der Bayern.
Geld schießt keine Tore, moderne Technik auch nicht. Aber Journalisten die schon lange nicht mehr mit der Schreibmaschine in überfüllte Großraumbüros sitzen, sondern ihre Zeilen am Laptop schreiben, ihre Fakten bei Google überprüfen und ihre Kommentare auf Webseiten veröffentlichen, sollten es doch eigentlich besser wissen: der Fortschritt macht kein Halt.

Ob sich die hohen Ausgaben für Laptops und andere Technik für die Axel-Springer Zeitungen lohnt, weiß ich auch nicht. Aber ich weiß schon jetzt, dass sie es schwer hätten diese Ausgaben zu rechtfertigen, wenn sie dabei ihre "Niederlagen" in Form von Korrekturen und Aufklärung durch Bildblog.de erwähnen würden.

So ist halt alles nur eine Ansichtssache....

Die 0:4-Niederlage in Hannover zum Abschluss der Bundesliga-Saison 2007/2008 tat den mehr als 2500 mitgereisten Fans des FC Energie Cottbus nicht weh. Sie feierten ihre Mannschaft und den bereits zuvor feststehenden Klassenerhalt stimmungsvoll.

La lucha por la seguna posición seguirá hasta la última jornada ya que tanto W. Bremen como Schalke 04 ganaron sus encuentros. Segundo con dos puntos de ventaja sobre el tercero estan los del Werder que golearon sin piedad a un Hannover 96 que se despedía de sus opciones europeas. No se pierdan la jugada de Naldo en el primer gol.

Y como comentaba antes el Schalke 04 también ganaba su encuentro casero frente E. Frankfurt por la mínima. En teoría tiene más facil la última jornada el Schalke ya que se enfrente al Nuremberg en plena lucha por evitar el descenso, mientras que el Bremen se enfrenta al Leverkusen que opta a puesto europeo.

Pero lo que si esta emocionante es la lucha por las dos plazas que dan acceso a la Uefa. El cuarto ahora mismo es el Leverkusen que esta jornada se imponía al colista H. Rostock y de los cuatro contendientes es el que más difícil lo tiene ya que cierra la liga con el Bremen.

Cottbus kam wie verwandelt aus der Kabine, klar, was hatten sie denn jetzt auch noch zu verlieren, aber was Rostock nun ablieferte grenzte schon an Arbeitsverweigerung. Man ließ sich von den in Unterzahl spielenden Cottbussern am eigenen 16er einschnüren und vergeigte die wenigen anständigen Konter fahrlässig. So war es nur eine Frage der Zeit bis Energie das völlig verdiente Ausgleichstor schoss. Aber wenn man denkt es geht nicht schlimmer, wird man jedesmal eines besseren belehrt. Eine Minute nachdem Hansa das dritte mal wechselte, verletzte sich Torhüter Stefan Wächter schwer und konnte nicht ausgewechselt werden. Man entschied sich dafür das er die letzten Minuten humpelnd auf dem Feld zuende bringt. Anstatt das man seinen Torwart nun entlastet, spielte Hansa weiterhin unterirdisch und ließ Energie kommen. In der Nachspielzeit fiel dann das völlig verdiente Siegtor für Cottbus, Wächter zwar noch dran, aber durch seine Verletzung war ein vernünftiger Sprung kaum noch möglich.

Rostock steht vier Spieltage vor Saisonende auf einem Abstiegsplatz und empfängt mit Hamburg und Leverkusen noch zwei Topteams, auswärts geht es nach Hannover und Bochum.... wo soll man da noch Hoffnung auf den Klassenerhalt hernehmen?

Im Bezug auf einen neuen Trainer der nächsten Saison verdichten sich immer mehr die Gerüchte das dieser Posten an Niederländer Fred Rutten gehen könnte. Der 45-jährige Coach des niederländischen Erstligisten Twente Enschede besitzt eine Ausstiegsklausel und war bisher "Chef" von Twente-Stürmertrainer Youri Mulder. Es ist evtl. davon auszugehen, dass ihm Rutten im Sommer folgen wird und beide dann in der kommenden Saison das Trainer-Team bei Schalke bilden werden.

De cealalta parte , antrenorul lui Cottbus , Bojan Prasnikar , a fost extrem de fericit la sfarsitul meciului , fiind constient ca echipa lui a iesit din zona retrogradarii :"Suntem sub foarte mare presiune . Astazi am gresit mult mai putin si ne-am implicat mai mult in joc . Primul gol a fost extrem de important si ne-a dat incredere . Dupa aceea am fost foarte sigur in aparare si am facut foarte putine greseli la mijloc . Trebuie sa imi felicit jucatorii si sunt sigur ca vor deveni mult mai increzatori in fortele proprii dupa acest meci . "

Die Geschichte des Spiels ist schnell erzählt. Die 'Problempositionen' hinten links und rechts besetzte Thomas Doll letztendlich mit Delron Buckley, der die Aufgabe ordentlich löste (hervorzuheben die gut getimte Grätsche im Strafraum), und Mats Hummels, der zunächst etwas Probleme hatte, in der zweiten Hälfte aber sicherer wurde. In der IV behielten Amedick und Kovac ihre Plätze und rechtfertigten das mit einer soliden Vorstellung. Insbesondere ersterer wirkte gut erholt von seinem persönlichen Derby-Debakel.

Ansonsten gab es in diesem Spiel zwei Tore. Ein frühes in der 8. Minute. Nach einer Szene am BVB-Strafraum, in der man u.U. auf Freistoß für Cottbus hätte entscheiden können (aber nicht müssen), spielten die Schwarz-Gelben schnell von hinten raus: Amedick auf Federico und der mit einem schönen langen Pass auf Mladen Petric, der wieder mal mit einem absoluten Volley-Hammer zum 1:0 traf. Tor des Monats-verdächtig. Er hätte es mehr als verdient inzwischen. Typisch auch, dass die tolle Vorarbeit von Federico wieder mal die einzige auffällige Szene des gebürtigen Hageners blieb. Giovanni hat schon einige Scorerpunkte gesammelt, trotzdem ist das noch deutlich zu wenig für einen Spielmacher.

Und es gab ein spätes Ecke-Kopfball-Tor, in der 84. Minute, wieder durch Petric (Ecke von Frei). Dazwischen viele, zu viele Unzulänglichkeiten. In der ersten Hälfte hatte der BVB das Spiel halbwegs im Griff, erspielte sich aber keine nennenswerten Torchancen mehr. In Halbzeit 2 kamen die Cottbusser richtig ins Spiel, setzten auch mehr auf Offensive, kontrollierten das Mittelfeld, kamen aber nur zu einer Großchance durch einen Flugkopfball von Timo Rost. Und das, obwohl in der Pause Kovac durch Christian Wörns ersetzt werden musste (Leistenbeschwerden). Trotzdem war es erschreckend, wieviele Fehlpässe das schwarz-gelbe Mittelfeld verursachte, wie wenig man noch ins Spiel kam. Es schien auch nur noch ums Halten des knappen Vorsprungs zu gehen. Wieder mal eine ganz schwache Vorstellung von Kehl, Kringe und, bis auf seine Vorlage, Federico. Löbliche Ausnahme: Tinga. Petric und Frei taten, was sie tun müssen, wenn sie ins Spiel gebracht wurden. Frei hatte ein paar Minuten vor Schluss noch das 3:0 auf dem Fuß, schoss aus 20 m knapp über den Kasten.

Ungetrübt war meine Freude über diesen Auswärtssieg sicher nicht. Ok, zu null gespielt, aber was war das in der zweiten Hälfte? Völlig harmlos und nur schwer anzuschauen. Selten habe ich glaube ich weniger ausgelassen gejubelt als beim 2:0 gestern. Zum Glück steht jetzt noch ein weiteres, vermeintlich leichtes Spiel gegen Rostock an, bevor wieder härtere Brocken warten. Aber im Westfalenstadion sollte da unbedingt mehr kommen.
