Tras la ComicCon, las ultimas declaraciones de Damon Lindelof y Carlton Cuse, spoilers lanzados por Kristin o Ausiello... hemos resumido aquí los 9 puntos clave que conocemos de lo que nos espera en la quinta temporada de Perdidos.

A continuación dichos puntos clave (¡cuidado con los spoilers!)...

1. En la quinta temporada, quizá el concepto de flashback y flashforward sea reinventado, mezclando sin pudor alguno distintas líneas temporales.
2. Christian Shephard y Charles Widmore, ganarán mucho en importancia de aquí hasta el final de la serie.
3. Jin volverá, aunque aun no se sabe si esta muerto o vivo (aunque la muerte es un concepto extraño en la serie).
4. A Claire la veremos muy poco en la proxima temporada, deja de ser un personaje principal.
5. Richard Alpert será un personaje destacado en la quinta temporada.
6. Conoceremos por fin el pasado de la francesa Rousseau, aunque quiza no por medio de flashbacks.
7. Parece que Daniel Faraday sobrevivió y su libreta (la de arriba) jugará un papel muy importante.
8. Abaddon, a pesar de su papel en la serie Fringe (tambien del creador de Perdidos), volverá.
9. En teoría, todos los que salieron de la isla, deben regresar. Pero seguimos sin saber si eso incluye a Aaron, a Walt, a Frank o a Desmond, por ejemplo. Posiblemente el como convencerá Jack con ayuda de Ben a todos para regresar será el leitmotiv de la quinta temporada.

Executive producers Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse revealed quite a few season five tidbits at Comic-Con this past weekend...

Lost executive producers Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse weren't expected to reveal much of anything about the upcoming season at their Comic-Con panel this past Saturday; production on the drama won't begin for another three weeks in Hawaii and the writers typically loathe to give spoilers away, anyway. Still, the duo didn't disappoint. They immediately took questions from the audience and gave Lost memorabilia to anyone who made it up to the microphone. Besides handing out nifty prizes like an autographed life jacket, Dharma ranch dressing, and a T-shirt that read, "I asked a question about Richard Alpert and all I got was this lousy T-shirt," the producers did offer up a few tidbits about the coming year...

- When season five starts, you won't know when or where you are. And the way we tell stories will be different too. They may be done with the usual flash backs and flash forwards.

- The island did not travel when the hatch imploded, but something did happen.

- We'll see more of Locke and Jin on the show. "Dead is a relative term," and there's still a lot of story to be told about those characters.

- Richard Alpert is "quite old," thanks to the island's mystical properties, and we'll see more of his history this year. He will be a prominent figure in Season 5. We'll also see him barefoot in "the near future, pun intended," so we'll find out how many toes he has.

- They reiterated that getting an end date for the show has really reinvigorated it in terms of giving it energy and purpose.

- We will see Rousseau's story this year, but it won't exactly be a flashback. There was further mention of a different story-telling device to be used this year rather than flash forwards or flash backs.

- We're done with flashbacks and flashforwards, but there will be some time-jumping excitement anyway. There will be storytelling on and off the island, and in different periods of time.

- The Jack/Kate/Sawyer triangle is central to the show, and we'll see more interesting permutations of it over the next two seasons. And Kate will see Sawyer again.

- The nameless extras in the Zodiac boat with Farraday, stranded with the island gone, may be toast, but "things are looking up" for Farraday himself.

- Speaking of Daniel, he has a little notebook that tells him stuff that's happened, and stuff that will happen soon, and it's going to figure prominently in season five.

La Comic Con de San Diego ha ido dejando muchas sorpresitas en relacion a Perdidos. Hemos tratado de reunir todas ellas en esta entrada. De momento para empezar aquí tenéis un sneak peek (una especie de aperitivo o promo) de la quinta temporada de Perdidos. En el video aparece nuestro doctor Marvin Candle (namaste!) ahora rebautizado como Pierre Cheng. Resulta la mar de interesante. Y más interesante aun, resulta que se especula que quien graba el video y habla con el doctor es ni más ni menos que... Daniel Faraday. El video tiene gran parecido al sneak peek que hubo de la 4ª temporada en relación a La Orquídea.

RESPUESTAS DE DAMON LINDELOF Y CARTON CUSE EN LA COMIC CON

¿Cuando la escotilla implosionó y el cielo se volvió púrpura, se movió ahi la isla?
No. Pero algo sucedió.

¿Cuál será el destino de Jin y de Locke?
Jin aún estará en la serie de alguna manera. No han visto lo último de estos personajes. (Es evidente que Locke también estará...)

¿El mejor episodio y mejor temporada según su opinión?
Cuse: Mi episodio favorito es "The Constant" y la primera temporada.
Lindelof: "Exodus" y el lanzamiento de la balsa antes de que se desintegrara. Me gusta más la cuarta temporada.

¿Qué significaba en las promos de la cuarta temporada la ciudad reflejada en el agua?
Se refería a los Oceanic 6 saliendo de la isla.

¿Habrá un flashback de Rousseau?
Cuse: Veremos la historia de Rousseau, usar la palabra "flashback" no sería muy ingenioso.
Lindelof: Estamos direccionando lejos de los flashes. (¿Que querran decir estos cabr...?)

¿Qué pasa con la huelga de actores?
Suponemos que empezaremos en 3 semanas, a no ser que alguna noticia cambie esos planes.

¿Qué le sucedió a Vincent?
¿Y qué hay con qué le pasó a la Isla, a Sawyer y Juliet? Vincent está bien y aparecerá en la quinta temporada. Es justo decir que Vincent llegará hasta el final. (Vincent sabe mucho más que el resto...)

¿Son Jack y Kate los verdaderos protagonistas?
Cuse: Personalmente me gusta ese par, profesionalmente voy a tomar el quinto.

¿Verá Kate a Sawyer de nuevo?
Lindelof: No si Jack tiene algo que decir al respecto.
Cuse: Sí. Kate verá a Sawyer de nuevo.

¿Qué les pasó a los losties de la playa que fueron llevados en el bote inflable al barco que explotó en la finale de la cuarta temporada?
Murieron. Faraday probablemente estará bien. (Jejeje... tenemos Daniel Faraday para rato. Algo me dice que su personaje será muy importante)

Lindelof le pregunta a Matthew Fox: ¿Conoces a los camisetas-rojas, por ejemplo, esos que murieron en el bote?
Sí. Siempre estuvieron alli y fueron muy profesionales.

¿Existe algún limite sobre cuan lejos pueden ir los flashes hacia el pasado o futuro?
Lindelof: Contaremos historias en una manera nueva y fascinante. Este año, cuando comience la quinta temporada, no se sabrá cómo y dónde están. (ni cuando...)
Cuse: Habrán historias dentro y fuera de la isla en diferentes períodos de tiempo.
Lindelof: El tipo que hace el sonido del flashback seguirá con trabajo. (¿Alguien recuerda el capítulo en el que se mezclaban dos líneas temporales de Jin y Sun? Algo así vamos a tener la quinta temporada... se van a mezclar lineas temporales tanto de la isla, como de fuera de la misma)

Sólo entre ustedes y yo, ¿cómo terminará la serie?
Termina bien, esperamos.

¿Puede tener algo de Jin?
¿El alcohol o el personaje?

¿Cuántos años tiene Richard Alpert? ¿Tiene 6 dedos?
No lo diremos. Veremos a un descalzo Richard Alpert en un futuro cercano y en el sentido del "futuro muy cercano". (Sería más inquietante para mí que tuviera 4 dedos como la estatua...)

Lindelof le pregunta a Matthew Fox: ¿Cuantos años tiene Richard Alpert?
125 años.
Lindelof: Te equivocaste.

Con respecto al pseudónimo de Locke de Jeremy Bentham, y dado que uno de sus más grandes hitos fue el panopticon (especie de prisión que permite a un vigilante observar a todos los prisioneros sin que éstos puedan saber si están siendo observados o no), ¿está siendo vigilada la gente de la isla y por quién?

Lost é realmente um série muito interessante. Os produtores estão conseguindo unir a realidade e a ficção.

Após o vídeo, o RH da iniciativa convida alguns recrutas que se saíram melhor no teste. A partir de segunda-feira (hoje) os interessados em entrar para inciativa poderão acessar o site dharmawantsyou.com.

Agora vem a melhor parte: perguntas. A primeira delas é "Quando Desmond virou a chave na escotilha, a ilha se moveu?". Lindelof: "Não, mas algo aconteceu". "Jin e Locke realmente morreram?". Cuse: "Jin e Locke ainda estarão na série de alguma forma". Aproveitando o momento, Lindelof garante que Lost terá 17h a partir de fevereiro de 2009, e outras 17h para completar a sexta e última temporada.

"Qual episódio vocês mais amam?". Cuse responde sem dúvidas: "The Constant", enquanto Lindelof garante que a primeira temporada foi especial. Agora vem uma boa notícia a respeito de Danielle Rousseau. Quando perguntando se veremos um flashback dela, Cuse afima que "vocês definitivamente verão a história de Rousseau nesta temporada, mas não podemos dizer que será em um flashback. Faremos a coisa um pouco misturada desta vez, com flashbacks e flashforwards". Lindelof: "Mas Rousseau estará nesta temporada sim".

“O que aconteceu com Vincent?". Lindelof: "Vincent aparecerá na quinta temporada!
"E o triângulo amoroso?". "Não podemos responder sobre isso, mas claro que este é um assunto importante". Nesse meio tempo, quem entra no palco? Ele, Matthew Fox, o Jack. "Kate voltará a ver Sawyer?". E Lindelof diz: "Sim, ela voltará a vê-lo!". "O que acontecerá com o bote que levava Faraday e aqueles outros sobreviventes?". Lindelof: "Faraday deve sobreviver, mas não sei quanto aos outros que estavam com ele e que nunca disseram uma palavra na série"."O quanto iremos avançar ou voltar no tempo?". Lindelof: "Quando esta quinta temporada começar, vocês não saberão em que época estaremos. Faremos as coisas diferentes desta vez". "E sobre o segundo protocolo?". Lindelof: "Naquele livro do capitão Gault temos uma série de procedimentos e conseqüências que irão ser mencionadas na quinta temporada". "Vocês têm tudo, tudo planejado desde o começo da série?". Cuse: "É impossível ter tudo planejado desde o começo... Na sala de roteiristas, tentamos imaginar situações complicadas e um jeito de resolvê-las. É o que fazemos!". "Qual a idade de Richard Alpert?". Cuse: "Ele é bem velho. Já demos a dica que envelhecer na ilha é um processo diferente; então, esse é um mistério que vamos manter no ar para vocês continuarem vendo a série". Fox brinca de “chutar” a idade de Alpert: "105 anos". Lindelof: "Errou".

"As pessoas na ilha estão sendo observadas?". Antes de responder, uma das pessoas responsáveis por recrutamento da Dharma entra no palco e diz que os roteiristas estão falando muitas mentiras. No mesmo momento começa a passar o vídeo do tal garoto.

O vídeo foi filmado pelo garoto e mostra ele entrando na cabine de testes da Dharma e lá ele assistindo um vídeo com Marvin Candle, que revela seu nome verdadeiro, Peter Cheung, e afirma que está na ilha para fazer parte de experimentos envolvendo equações de Eistein. Engraçado foi que o braço de Candle, ou melhor, Cheung, estava lá. E, como vocês, fãs da série sabem, ele não tem um braço. O Cheung afirma também que, no futuro aconteceu uma Purgação e que ele e seus colegas da Dharma estarão mortos. O vídeo começa a apresentar muitas interferências e acaba. Enquanto isso, o garoto sai correndo. Eeghen, por sua vez, afirma que o tudo aquilo era uma palhaçada, e sai bravo. Lindelof e Cuse encerram o painel.

Την προηγούμενη μέρα τα ίδια αυτά παιδιά είχαν δώσει την παρακάτω συνέντευξη. Δεν αποκαλύπτει και τίποτα. Δείχνει όμως ότι καταλαβαίνουν τι τους γίνεται. Κατ'αρχήν έχουν σκοπό στα επεισόδια που απομένουν για το τέλος να απαντήσουν σε όλα τα ερωτήματα. Ύστερα θέλουν να κρατήσουν το ρυθμό. "Αν αποτύχουμε, θα αποτύχουμε πολύ". Και τέλος, αναγνωρίζουν ότι δεν είναι οι σημαντικότερες προσωπικότητες του συνεδρίου, ούτε κατά διάνοια.

Στο μεταξύ συνεχίζεται η στρατολόγηση της Dharma Initiative. Το βιντεάκι που ακολουθεί υποτίθεται ότι το τράβηξε ένας από τους υποψήφιους συνεργάτες. Ο Pierre Cheng ή αλλιώς Marvin Candle ή αλλιώς Mark Wickmund ή αλλιώς Edgar Halliwax εμφανίζεται σε απευθείας σύνδεση από το παρελθόν. 3ο χρόνια πριν και ξέρει ακριβώς ποιος είναι σήμερα ο πρόεδρος των HΠΑ και τι είναι το ίντερνετ. Ξέρει επίσης ότι όλοι οι επιστήμονες της Dharma είναι πλέον νεκροί εξαιτίας μιας εκκαθάρισης (purge) που είναι αδύνατο να αποφευχθεί. Το γεγονός ότι η μετάδοση αυτή γίνεται επιτυχώς σημαίνει ακριβώς ότι οι έρευνές του έχουν αποτελέσματα. Time is not of essence, time IS the essence. Έεεετσι. Ο δεύτερος άνθρωπος του βίντεο, που ακούμε μόνο τη φωνή του και δεν τον βλέπουμε ποτέ μήπως είναι ο Φαραντέι; Η φωνή μοιάζει.

Και το καλύτερο για το τέλος. Αν ανοίξεις το bluetooth κοντά στο περίπτερο της Dharma σου αποστέλλεται ένα psycho βιντεάκι. Δες το εδώ, αλλά μια που δεν προλαβαίνεις να δεις και πολλά, στο DarkUFO έχoyn μαζέψει κάμποσα ενδιαφέροντα screenshots.

Q: When the hatch imploded and the sky turned purple? Did the Island move then?

Carlton: The Constant is my favorite episode, and season one.

Q: What's up with the reflection in the season four promos where the city was in the reflection in the water?
A: That was all about the Oceanic Six getting off the Island. Prize: Heroes DVD

Q: Will there be a Rousseau flashback?
A: We will see Rousseau's story, to use the word flashback might be disingenuous. Damon: We're steering away from the flashes. Prize: I am Lost luggage tags.

Q: What's up with the actors strike?
A: We're supposed to start in three weeks at least until further notice changes that plan. Prize: Photo of Nikki & Paolo

One of the Dharma winners just jumped on stage and said LindeCuse aren't telling us "sh**," and says he has video to show us from the Dharma booth. This has to be totally scripted. We're watching the video now. Will faithfully report its contents momentarily. Or Jen will.

--The kid took the camera into the booth and now we're seeing video of Marvin Candle. His real name is Pierre Chang. He is a professor of physics from Ann Arbor. And he says we are receiving the message 30 years in the past. He says that GWB is President and talks about the Internet. He and his colleagues are dead. There has been a purge. We have to reinstate the Dharma Initiative. Time is not just of the essence, it is the essence, he says. And now the Dharma guy is cutting off the panel and withdrawing sponsorship.

I'm not even sure I would've wanted to be at the Twilight panel because as I've stated before, I have a real problem with the weird fandom it seems to attract and I'm sure I would've run out of Advil halfway through from the migraine-inducing shrieking that seemed to drown out every other syllable, from the little footage I've seen.

However, I *would've* liked to see Joss. And Dr. Horrible, which for some reason, I haven't even downloaded yet. (What is with me lately?) And the JJ Abrams/Fringe panel.

And, of course, the showrunners panel, which consisted of Josh Schwartz, Bryan Fuller, Josh Friedman, Carlton Cuse, and one of my major crushes, Damon Lindelof.

Welcome to a very special Comic-Con Concert with Darlton and the Pips!

That "Pip" thing was Josh Friedman’s joke, not mine, and came out of the fact that the large majority of the fans attending the showrunners panel—starring Josh Schwartz (Chuck, Gossip Girl), Bryan Fuller (Pushing Daisies), Friedman (Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles) and Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse (both of Lost)—spent a heck of a lot of time asking about that teleporting island we hold so dear.

Newsflash: People who watch Lost have a few, um, questions.

Still, there was much love for the other shows (despite Schwartz’s assertion that “I feel Gossip Girl is verboten here” even that series got some raucous cheers), and even a little scoop. Click in for the goods...

Claire-Bear Will Be Back: Following up on my earlier scoop that Emilie de Ravin is not a series regular for the upcoming fifth season of Lost, Darlton promises: "You will see Claire again. Not right away but what happened with her will be explained."

Chuck's Mama Drama Is So Coming Out: “We are picking up 10 months later,” Fuller says of Daisies’ second season opener. “And all the secrets have been kept by our people for a long time and they are going to burst.” Fuller says he also was told by ABC that Daisies would not get a “previously on” opener, so he is cramming a lot of cool exposition into the first three minutes of the premiere for any new viewers.

Ditto the Other Chuck: “The second season premiere is a pilot for us,” says Schwartz. “We are treating this season as if the show were off the air for years.” He says the new season will start off where season one left off, with Chuck Bartowski being dangled off the roof, and telling the story of how he got there.

Chuck Bartowski Knows Lost Secrets: Remember when Chuck (Zachary Levi) flashed on the location of the crash of Oceanic Flight 815? Well, Schwartz recalls that, “[Damon and Carlton] sent me a box of cookies that said ‘If you give away any more of our secrets we’ll kill you.” Funny, I got the same cookies one time from ABC after revealing a Lost death but they were laced with arsenic. (Yum!) Meanwhile, Carlton had a question for Josh about the whereabouts of the crash: "Wait, where is it?"

Terminator vs. Terminator: When asked if the Terminator movies and Terminator television show are now two totally separate worlds, Friedman replied, “They really don’t commune. We’ve always felt the TV show is an expression of the universe and the movies are another expression of the universe. They are alternate paths taken through the timeline.” He added that he spoke to McG about this very topic, and "We agreed it’s best that he does his thing and we do our thing and never the twain shall meet.”

“Serena Is Now a Cyborg!” You heard it here first, people, the latest on Blake Lively’s glamorous socialite character from Gossip mastermind Schwartz, who revealed Serena Van der Woodsen's robot status in response to Damon’s artfully crafted take on why mythology genre TV shows and movies rock, and are taking over the world. (See: Dark Knight.) Only question: Does Dan Humphrey like toasters?

Put the Kiddies Away! When Damon slipped an s-word into an answer, Bryan kindly pointed out the sign in front of him which Damon read aloud, “Please be aware that there may audience members under 18,” then added,“So you guys are f--ked.” Hee.

Damon Loves Dr. Horrible and Dex: "Considering the job that we do and that it takes 300 people to do an episode of Lost, I’m just in awe of Dr. Horrible," says Damon, who also admits he’s a "huge fan of Dexter." Fuller, who won big points with this crowd for his clear love of mythology, genre, Star Wars, Star Trek (his past writing gig) and everything of the like also got a huge laugh when he announced the one series he’d love to work on: “Um, I love Project Runway.”

Wait a Minute, Yvonne Strahovski Was Almost Bionic? Okay, perhaps Schwartz was kidding around, but he made it sound as though Chuck’s resident butt-kicking hottie could have ended up the leading lady on NBC’s now-dead remake. “We saw Yvonne on a tape from Australia, and our casting director was literally waiting for her at the airport and snatched her up before Bionic Woman could take her away,” says Schwartz. I’m moderating the Chuck panel tomorrow and you can be sure I'm gonna follow up on that. If you have any more questions for the Chuck crew, be a peach and post them below, will ya? La quarta stagione, su FOX in anteprima italiana, è appena finita… E già l’attesa, per noi fans di Lost, pare insopportabile. Vogliamo sapere, subito. E invece dovremo aspettare fino all’anno prossimo per poter seguire le nuove avventure di Jack, Kate e compagni. Possiamo, però, iniziare a consolarci con le prime conferme (più conferme che anticipazioni) giunte direttamente dalle dichiarazioni dei produttori Damon Lindelof e Carlton Cuse sul futuro della serie.

In occasione dell’assegnazione dei TCA Awards, Lindelof e Cuse, dietro le quinte della serie che incolla alla tv milioni di telespettatori in tutto il mondo, hanno ribadito l’importanza di aver potuto conoscere con largo anticipo, grazie alla fiducia concessa a Lost da ABC, l’esatta durata della serie. Sapendo di avere tempo fino al 2010 (con la sesta stagione) per sciogliere tutti i nodi, l’organizzazione della sceneggiatura di Lost è stata completamente rivista per distribuire meglio tutti gli elementi da inserire nella narrazione. Elementi come, ad esempio, alcune importanti informazioni sul futuro dei personaggi.

Tanto per cominciare, è stato confermato il ritorno degli Oceanic Six sull’isola. Lo stesso Cuse ha ricordato che è stato Ben (Michael Emerson) a dire che dovranno tornare, e che dovranno farlo tutti insieme (lo sappiamo: lo abbiamo visto nel finale di stagione). Le parole di Ben, conferma Cuse, avranno davvero un seguito: vedremo i sei della Oceanic darsi da fare per tornare sull’isola… O almeno escogitare un modo per farlo, come tutti ci aspettiamo. Massimo mistero invece sul destino di Jin: secondo quando detto dai due nell’intervista, Jin potrebbe essere rimasto ucciso nell’esplosione della nave… ma potrebbe anche essersi salvato (mentre Michael viene dato per morto, almeno per il momento, senza possibilità d’equivoco). L’unica certezza è che vedremo ancora Daniel Dae Kim, l’interprete di Jin, in Lost. Ma anche questa non è una grande rivelazione: quasi tutti i personaggi morti nella serie, grazie ai flashback (per non parlare delle apparizioni…), hanno potuto fare ritorno sul set…

Per il resto, Cuse ha detto che la quinta stagione, in quanto collegamento fra passato e conclusione, sarà cruciale. E ha aggiunto che ciò che accadrà nel prossimo ciclo è già stato stabilito, da parecchio tempo. Produttori ed autori non dovranno, in buona sostanza, inventarsi nulla. Ma dovranno affrontare la sfida, che Cuse e Lindelof hanno definito molto stimolante, che coincide con la ricerca del modo più efficace per raccontare al pubblico ciò che è già stato stabilito. Una sfida che, ne sono sicura, il cast tecnico (e quello artistico) di Lost vinceranno ancora una volta.

This is the first time we've gotten a look at the actors in character. The posters show Chris Pine as Captain James Kirk, Zachary Quinto as Mr. Spock, Zoe Saldana as Lt. Uhura, and Eric Bana as Romulan baddy Nero.

From the look of the posters, it looks like this movie is set to ooze all sorts of sweaty, tatooed sex come May. Get ready for it.

Using the letter from Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse (posted on the ABC.com web site) as the basis for my sign, I then divided the cube into 3 seasons. Using the top layer for the DVDs of Lost, I then arranged the books below them that corresponded with the appropriate season.

I'm honored that they allowed me to set this up directly in front of our circulation desk. I've been told this is the equivalent of the candy/gum rack at the grocery store. Except I'm hoping that kids of all ages will check out items from my display.

Anche quest'anno Lost sarà presente al Comic-Con, la fiera su fumetti, cinema e telefilm che ogni anno si tiene a San Diego, California verso la fine di luglio.

Come nelle edizioni passate, Damon Lindelof e Carlton Cuse, le principali menti dietro la serie, romperanno il loro silenzio e parteciperanno alla fiera attraverso una conferenza dedicata che dovrebbe riservare molte sorprese sul futuro di Lost.

L'anno scorso venne infatti rivelato il ritorno di Harrold Perrineau (Michael) nel cast fisso della serie e, oltre ad una serie di anticipazioni sulla quarta serie, venne mostrato un video d'orientamento della Stazione Orchidea, che sarebbe poi ricomparsa in maniera preponderante solo negli episodi finali della quarta stagione. Il Comic-Con sarà dunque un'ottima occasione per chiarire alcuni punti chiave della quarta stagione e probabilmente per scoprire nuovi spoiler sulla quinta.

Quest'anno il Comic-Con si terrà dal 24 al 27 luglio, con una speciale serata d'anteprima il 23 luglio, e saranno ben quattro gli eventi e i pannelli collegati a Lost.

Noi di Lostpedia ovviamente vi terremo aggiornati su tutti gli sviluppi dell'evento (ma vi rimandiamo al blog spoiler per le anticipazioni sulla quinta stagione), e per chi non volesse proprio perdersi nulla, vi segnaliamo il blog di Darkufo, che seguirà il pannello con aggiornamenti in diretta. Como este foi um episódio duplo e, geralmente, os textos relativos a esta série costumam ser um pouco longos de mais, decidi fazer algo diferente do normal e tentei ser o mais abreviado possível. Aqui vai (sem qualquer ordem em especial):

CONTEM SPOILERS (obviamente)

A mentira: Há pessoas que se deram ao trabalho de colocar um falso avião no fundo do oceano. Que enviaram à ilha mercenários com ordens para matar. Faz todo o sentido que os «Oceanic Six» decidam mentir para preservar a ilha em segredo e, acima de tudo, as suas próprias vidas. Só e apenas isso é suficiente. Mas esta conclusão era fácil de se alcançar com poucos episódios decorridos na temporada. Porquê tanto suspense em torno da questão? Terá o mistério sido adensado pelos próprios argumentistas inadvertidamente ou propositadamente? Ou terá sido a ânsia dos próprios fãs em conceber tão grandioso mistério em torno de algo tão simples?

Deslocar a ilha: Já tinha afirmado que não me tinham convencido com a conversa de deslocar a ilha. Mas, mudei de opinião neste episódio. A cena em que o Ben (Michael Emerson) desloca a ilha é um bocado estranha, mas acabou por resultar bem. E, apesar de não estar à espera de uma resposta científica, quero saber como funciona o mecanismo!

Charlotte, Daniel e Miles: Estes três personagens regressaram da paragem forçada pela greve algo apagados, sobretudo, a antropóloga e o misterioso psíquico. Talvez tivesse sido em relação a eles que algumas linhas de argumento tiveram de ser abandonadas e deixadas para a próxima temporada. Pelo menos, sabemos que vão regressar. E com um mistério interessante. Parece que a Charlotte (Rebecca Mader) tem a ideia de que nasceu na ilha! E será que o Daniel (Jeremy Davies), que estava no mar quando a ilha desapareceu, foi também transportado para o mesmo sítio desta?

Sawyer: Assim que o Lapidus (participação de Jeff Fahey) disse que o helicóptero tinha peso a mais e o facto de a bordo irem, além do piloto, cinco dos «Oceanic Six» e o Sawyer (Josh Holloway), não foi difícil de perceber que desfecho a cena iria ter.

Michael e Jin: Algo me diz que Jin (Daniel Dae Kim) ainda está vivo. Quanto ao Michael, Harold Perrineau confirmou numa entrevista que ele morreu, e pela conversa dele, não me pareceu lá muito contente.

Claire: Mais um pouco e nem sequer aparecia no episódio! Gostava de ter ficado a saber um pouco mais (alguma coisa!) sobre o que lhe aconteceu, mas deve ser um daqueles mistérios que eles gostam de fazer durar. Contudo, ela anda com atitudes de personagens que já morreram, não!? Aparecer em sonhos e tal… [Confirma-se que a Emilie de Ravin vai deixar de ser regular na quinta temporada e que o seu contrato fica suspenso até à sexta].

Desmond: Por instantes pensei que ainda tinha passado qualquer coisa pela cabeça dos produtores da série e que tinham decidido matar o personagem. Mas não podiam. Tinham de terminar a história (pelo menos a parte romântica) do Desmond (Henry Ian Cusick) e da Penny (participação de Sonya Walger). E foi o que fizeram. Com sentimento. E até aqueles brasileiros manhosos do final da segunda temporada voltaram a dar um ar da sua graça. Agora adivinha-se um confronto Desmond/ Ben. Veremos o que aí vem. Se a ilha só os aceita de volta se regressarem todos, então alguém vai ter de convencer o Desmond, o que deve ser bastante difícil.

Sun: Foi impressão minha ou ela está a mudar-se para o lado negro da Força!? Talvez não e esteja apenas a planear vingança contra o Widmore (participação de Alan Dale; Betty Feia; The O.C.). Ele bem disse que responsabilizava duas pessoas pela morte(?) do Jin: o pai e alguém desconhecido. Resta saber se esse alguém será o Widmore ou o Jack (Matthew Fox). Agora, que ela está diferente, isso está. E eu estou a gostar da volta que a personagem levou.

Waaaaaalt!: Passaram 3 anos desde que os «Oceanic Six» saíram da ilha e o Walt (participação de Malcolm David Kelley) decide ir visitar o Hurley (Jorge Garcia), já que ninguém se lembrou de o visitar e ele não percebe porque estão todos a mentir. Será que iremos ter o Walt à procura do pai na próxima temporada? Por acaso, era bem interessante. Pelo menos, tinham uma oportunidade de desenvolver a história dos seus poderes psíquicos, que tem estado em banho-maria há bastante tempo.

Ben: O Ben é um sacana, o que não é, de forma alguma, uma novidade. Decidiu sacrificar as pessoas a bordo do cargueiro para concretizar a sua vingança no Keamy (participação de Kevin Durand). Porém, de seguida redimiu-se sacrificando a sua estadia na ilha para salvaguardar a mesma.

Juliet: Grande azar. Uma das minhas personagens favoritas, não só perdeu bastante protagonismo e tempo de ecrã nesta temporada (e ainda teve direito ao pior episódio da mesma), como foi deixada para trás porque queria esperar pelo Jack. Ainda por cima, ela deve ter sido a última coisa que passou pela cabeça dele quando este estava no helicóptero a gritar para o Lapidus não voltar de forma alguma para a ilha.

Jeremy Bentham: Mas quem é que ia cair na armadilha e pensar que o Jeremy BENtham era o Ben!? OK, eu admito que caí… A desculpa é da hora avançada aquando vi o episódio.

O caixão: Foi a grande revelação guardada para o último minuto do episódio e a cena escolhida para cliffhanger. Apesar de me ter passado pela cabeça que o seu ocupante poderia ser o Locke (Terry O'Quinn), a verdade é que não era uma das minhas escolhas principais. Claro que daqui resultam inúmeras questões, cujas respostas ainda teremos de aguardar por muito, muito tempo. Para mim, a mais pertinente, além da óbvia, será o que aconteceu de tão terrível na ilha durante aqueles três anos?

Algumas questões para a próxima temporada: Além das evidentes, relacionadas com a história em si (Para onde foi deslocada a ilha? O Jin e o Michael morreram? Etc.), aquilo em que tenho maior curiosidade em saber é que estrutura terão os episódios. Será que vamos continuar a seguir os «Oceanic Six» e teremos flashforwards do seu regresso à ilha? Será que temos acção simultânea na ilha e fora dela? E se na segunda temporada foram introduzidos os Talies, na terceira conhecemos melhor os Outros e na quarta tivemos o pessoal do cargueiro, quem serão os novos personagens que irão ser introduzidos na quinta?

Bem, acho que não me esqueci de nada… Quer dizer, houve várias cenas que poderia ainda discutir, mas ficam para os comentários se alguém tiver interesse em fazê-lo. E agora, lá vamos ter de esperar até 2009. Porra! Se de pensar nisso…

Episodio sexto de la primera temporada de la serie de Perdidos (1x06: House of the Rising Sun, La Casa del Sol Naciente). Jack y Kate descubren dos cuerpos en las cuevas, a los que John Locke denominó como Adán y Eva. Dentro de los cuerpos, Jack encontró en sus bolsillos dos piedras: una negra y otra blanca. Y así quedaba expuesto uno de los misterios de Perdidos de los que menos sabemos y de los que no hemos vuelto a saber practicamente nada.

Hoy en EL CONDENSADOR DE FLUZO, vamos a arrojar un poquito de luz sobre ello. A continuación más datos sobre los cuerpos de Adán y Eva, comentarios de los creadores al respecto y posibles identidades de los cuerpos.

MÁS DATOS CONCRETOS QUE CONOCEMOS

El deterioro de la ropa nos da alguna pista sobre su identidad. Según Jack, refleja que llevan muertos unos 40 o 50 años. Junto con las piedras son los únicos datos concretos que pueden servir como pistas. Jack cogió esas piedras, y al menos en pantalla, no hemos visto que le haya revelado a John Locke haberlas encontrado.

COMENTARIOS Y PISTAS DE LOS CREADORES

En una entrevista de Marzo de 2.007 con Damon Lindelof y Carlton Cuse (creadores de Perdidos), éstos aseguraron que el descubrimiento de Adán y Eva era la primera pista para enlazar con el tema de los viajes en el tiempo, demostrando así que desde el principio de la serie tenían algunas ideas claras.

En otra entrevista, Carlton Cuse respondió:

La respuesta a esa pregunta está en la línea temporal natural de la Isla. No queremos decir mucho sobre eso, pero hay un par de easter eggs en el episodio Not in Portland, uno de los cuales es un anagrama que actualmente arroja luz sobre los esqueletos y da pistas sobre un misterio mitológico mayor que empezará a destaparse más adelante (¿Quiza la capacidad para mover la isla y viajar en el tiempo?)

Damon Lindelof añadió:

Hay algunas cosas que sabemos desde el principio. Independientemente de que no sabíamos cómo sería el final, sabíamos qué iba a suceder, y empezamos a exponerlo en la primera temporada. Así que los esqueletos son la prueba viviente de ello. Cuando lleguemos al final la gente dirá, "esa es la prueba que desde el principio sabían lo que estaban haciendo"

UN ANAGRAMA QUE ARROJA LUZ A ESTE MISTERIO

Como ya adelantamos en esta entrada, en el episodio Not in Portland existe un anagrama respecto a la compañia a la que representa Richard Alpert: Mittelos es un un anagrama de Lost Time. ¿Será este el anagrama al que hacen referencia? o ¿será otro?

¿A QUIÉN PODRÍAN PERTENECER LOS CUERPOS?

• Nativos antes de la llegada de Dharma: Quizá responsables de la creación de la estatua con el pie de cuatro dedos.

• Supervivientes o descendientes de ellos de La Roca Negra: Podrían haber sobrevivido al naufragio. Aunque más que naufragio, dada la capacidad de moverse la isla en el espacio (¿y en el tiempo?) quiza la isla apareciera de repente y levantara al barco, quedandose este en mitad de la isla.
• Desmond y Penny: ¿Imagináis que al final de la serie se descubre que Adán y Eva son Desmond y Penny? Un grandioso final circular con viajes en el tiempo. Como nota importante añadir una cosa: En el episodio Flashes before your eyes se pueden ver las piedras negra y blanca (aunque algunos dicen que son solo tapones de cerveza)
• Bernard y Rose: Posiblemente ambos jamás abandonen la isla. Las piedras podrían ser una pista respeto a su etnia.
• Jacob y Leah: Dadas las referencias biblicas, en el último capítulo del Génesis, Jacob es enterrado en una cueva junto a Leah.
• Los padres de Charlotte: Dado que Charlotte ha revelado que ha nacido en la isla, ¿serán los esqueletos de sus padres?

Gerald DeGroot y Karen DeGroot

• Gerald DeGroot y Karen DeGroot: Los fundadores de la Iniciativa Dharma bien podrían ser Adán y Eva en esta historia.
• Amelia Earhart y Fred Noonan: Personajes del universo expandido de Perdidos en la red. Amelia Earhart y su copiloto Fred Noonan se supone que se perdieron durante unl vuelo en torno al año 1937.

Pero no son las únicas alternativas, hay otras que aunque aparentemente más inverosimiles, despiertan nuestro interes, ya que muchas revelarían más viajes temporales como los siguientes:

• Aaron y Ji-Yeon
• Ben y Annie

Sería muy potito que fueran:

• Hugo y Libbie
• Goodwin y Juliet

A primeira parte (de três) do season finale de “Lost” é isso mesmo: uma parte. No final do episódio, durante uma pequena, mas excelente, montagem musical, nota-se claramente que este serve basicamente como um colocar de várias peças em pontos estratégicos e prepará-las para o jogo, o confronto final.

A maioria dos personagens converge para um destino comum: uma misteriosa estação Dharma chamada “The Orchid”, que, supostamente, será um posto cientifico dedicado à botânica. Os mercenários dirigiram-se para lá com um intuito desconhecido. O Ben (Michael Emerson), o Locke (Terry O'Quinn) e o Hurley (Jorge Garcia), que pretendem deslocar a ilha a mando do Jacob. O Jack (Matthew Fox) e o Sawyer (Josh Holloway) que pretendem resgatar o Hurley. A Kate (Evangeline Lilly) e o Sayid (Naveen Andrews) que vão atrás do Jack e do Sawyer. E ainda um grupo de “Outros”, liderado pelo Richard Alpert (participação de Nestor Carbonell), que vão atrás do Ben. Não há qualquer dúvida: “The Orchid” será o principal cenário de tudo o que está para vir.

Em segundo plano, mas não menos importante, temos o pessoal da praia que tenta escapar para o cargueiro, levando no bote seis pessoas de cada vez, numa missão deixada a cargo do Daniel Faraday (Jeremy Davies). Assim que vi a primeira remessa de gente a subir para o bote, pensei de imediato: “olha, carne para canhão…”.

Mas depois vi que o Jin (Daniel Dae Kim), a Sun (Yunjin Kim) e o Aaron também faziam parte do grupo, e não mudei de opinião em relação a que os outros são carne para canhão, mas imagino que irão desenrolar-se acontecimentos bem dramáticos a bordo do cargueiro, ainda para mais com a descoberta de todo o C-4 (explosivos) do mundo num dos seus compartimentos. Humm… Seria aquele dispositivo, aquele o Keamy (participação de Kevin Durand) amarrou ao braço num episódio anterior, um detonador!?

Se os acontecimentos na ilha foram uma preparação para o que esperar, o flashforward foi uma viagem emocional. Ver os personagens no avião, a saírem do mesmo e a reencontrarem os familiares (tenho de admitir que me deu bastante pena ver a Kate e o Sayid a olharem para os outros a abraçarem as respectivas famílias), para mim, foi um momento ao nível daquele em que eles entram no avião e estão a procurar os respectivos lugares do final da primeira temporada, instantes poderosos em que não é necessário nada mais do que imagens e a música certa.

Os “Oceanic Six” tiveram direito a uma interessante conferência de imprensa (gostei particularmente da questão de eles não terem emagrecido e do subsequente comentário do Hurley), onde ficámos a conhecer com mais detalhe a história arranjada para explicar o desastre e justificar os meses em que estiveram desaparecidos. Confirmámos que a Kate assumiu mesmo o Aaron como seu filho e que a Sun, relutantemente, assumiu que o Jin morreu quando o avião se despenhou no mar.

Posteriormente, o Sayid reencontrou a Nadia (participação de Andrea Gabriel), o que já sabíamos que iria acontecer apesar de não termos ideia de como. O Hurley teve um reencontro inesperado com os números! Muito porreiro! A Sun utilizou toda a força que adquiriu na ilha, e que não tinha anteriormente, enfrentou o seu pai (participação de Byron Chung) e até comprou parte da empresa deste de forma a vingar-se. Além disso, ainda revelou que culpava duas pessoas pela morte do Jin: o pai dela, pois a necessidade de fugir dele fê-los embarcar no voo 815 da Oceanic, e uma outra que não identificou. Mas, será que o Jin estará mesmo morto ou algo aconteceu que tenha levado a Sun a pensar que ele esteja morto, tipo o cargueiro explodir com ele a bordo, e ainda exista a possibilidade dele estar vivo?

Por fim, ainda vimos o Jack a descobrir que a Claire (Emilie de Ravin) é sua irmã, e logo de quem menos esperaríamos.

Muito bom episódio, uma primeira parte daquele que se espera ser um fantástico final.

Jack looks pathetic and says he thinks he has lice.

In the present, Jack and Sawyer find Hurley taking a wizz in the jungle. Sawyer watches a beat too long and the whole thing is really awkward. Luckily, Locke walks out of the bushes and they're able to get down to business.

DANGER! looms on the freighter after Desmond finds 500 pounds of C4 ready to blow them all to itty-bits. Jin and Michael take a closer look.

Jin: Rook heah. Whyahs, boom. And heah, boom. Cee-foh, boom.

Desmond scratches his beard and turns to Michael. "Are 'ye gettin' any o'this, brutha?"

In the jungle, Kate stumbles out of the brush and into Keamy, who's brought Ben to the chopper. Kate says she's being chased by Ben's people, so Keamy sends Goku and Cocoa Bean to check things out, and that's when things get awesome. Everything about Keamy screams douchebag, so when he eventually dies you want it to be really satisfying. And satisfying this is. Sayid does a back flip out of the bushes and kicks him in the throat. Then he kills him just to watch him die. In return for helping them out, the Others have agreed to let Kate and Sayid and whoever else leave the island. They've all been through a lot together, and their farewell is bittersweet.

Sayid: Hey Ben, you're awesome.

Ben: You're awesome.

As everyone leaves, Keamy's hand twitches. The end? In the future, Hurley gets a visit from a sassy black woman asking if he's going to do anything crazy. He says that he doesn't have any drugs, but wait, who is this? It's WALT! He's back, but kind of bummed.

Walt: 'Sup dog. Wish you had come to see. That would have been a slaaaam dunk. Why ya'll lyin' about the crash?

Hurley: If we don't lie, everyone who stayed on the island is DEAD! You got that? DEAD!

Walt: You a stone cold trip, 'ya heard?

Back on the island, Jack and Locke continue their great, unending b**ch fight over what's better, science or faith. Ben pops out of one of his secret tunnels and tells Jack there's a chopper waiting to take him off the island. Jack sweats and John squints, and both will live to fight another day.

On the freighter, Michael suggests they use a tank of liquid nitrogen to freeze the bomb, that way, it won't blow up until it explodes, and they won't die until they're all killed, possibly not until they're dead. Everyone high-fives and congratulates each other on how innovative they are.

Faraday comes back to the island to pick up more castaways. Juliette thanks him for all the work he's done. He thinks that maybe he loves her now.

Ben shows Locke the elevator shaft that leads to the Orchid Station. After a few minutes, Locke asks Ben how deep the shaft goes. Ben says it goes deep. Reeeeeeal deep. There are so many Dharma stations, Locke is curious as to what crazy purpose this new one serves. Ben gives him a videotape and we all take a stroll down Exposition Lane. What does the Orchid do? Nobody knows. But the endpoint isn't really important, it's how they get there. Anyway, they shouldn't put metal in the weird transport chamber.

But wait, he's back! Keamy's roaming the halls of the Orchid station, trying to lure Ben and Locke out of their hiding places.

Keamy: You cannot hide forever, Ben.

Ben: I will not fight you.

Keamy: Give yourself to the Dark Side. It is the only way you can save your friends. Yes, your thoughts betray you. Your feelings for them are strong. Especially for... sister. So, you have a twin sister. Your feelings have now betrayed her too. Obi-Wan was wise to hide her from me. Now his failure is complete. If you will not turn to the Dark Side... perhaps she will!

Ben: NO!

Ben leaps out of the shadows and stabs Keamy in the neck with his lightsaber. When Locke tells him that along with Keamy, he may have killed his friends too, Ben's voice goes down a few octaves. "Goooood." With his dying breath, Keamy says that no matter where Ben goes, Widmore will follow him. "Goooood."

On the beach, Charlotte tells Faraday that she's decided to stay on the island. When Juliette says she's also going to hang back, a dejected Faraday skulks off. He knows what this means. From now on, it's guys only. Why the hell hasn't he taken off his tie yet?

Oh noes! Jack, Kate and friends are so close to the freighter, but they're losing fuel fast. Captain Ron yells that they need to get rid of any extra weight. Everyone looks around. Hey, how about that rope! Throw out those canisters! Here, toss out these fuel cans, they're pretty heavy, with fuel. Alright, that's it. That's all the extra weight they could lose. Or is it?

Captain Ron: Hey Hurley, any more weight back there we could lose?

Hurley: No way, dude.

Captain Ron: Um... you sure?

Sawyer hears the call and decides to sacrifice his spot on the chopper so that the others can make it to the freighter. His clothes are pretty heavy, so he loses them first. The he leans over and kisses Kate in a way that makes us unsure who we'd like to trade places with. Then he jumps over the side.

In the future, Future Sayid comes to bust Hurley out of the mental hospital. Outside, there's a man sitting alone in a car. Like a big, straight-haired cat, Sayid approaches.

Man: Do you have the time?

Sayid: Yes. Time... to die! Wait, that's no good. It's death o'clock!

Sayid busts into Hurley's room and tells him that Jonathan Lockeham is dead and that they need to get somewhere safe. Hurley tells him he's sees dead people. Before they leave, he looks down at a board game spread out on the table before him.

Hurley: Yahtzee, Abraham Lincoln.

The bomb on the freighter has another five minutes before it explodes. As soon as the chopper lands, they cram it full with the same people who were on it five minutes earlier, including Desmond, Sun and Aaron. They have to leave, NOW! But can they leave without Jin? Jack thinks so, and off they go.

Down below, Michael is alone with the bomb. Suddenly, Christian Shepherd appears to him and says that his entire arc this season was meant to be very anticlimactic. Boom, the bomb explodes and the freighter goes up in flames. On the chopper, Sun freaks out. She screaming and cussing at Jack, who tries calming her down. Who knows, maybe Jin survived. Jin's head flies up and smashes into the chopper's windshield. Nope, he's dead.

In Korea, we see future Sun bump into Charles Widmore. He's all smiles and handshakes, but Sun gets right down to the nitty-gritty.

Sun: I am a woman with great resources. If we work together, we shall banish the traitors to the Land of Wind and Ghosts. Hai!

What a b***h. It'll be interesting to see how this one plays out.

In the Orchid, Ben's stuffed the transporter full of metal, which blows it up somehow. But a big explosion isn't even the cool part. It's what's behind the transporter. Secret tunnels (the island is full of them, don't you know?) Ben kisses Locke on the mouth. This is goodbye. The Others are waiting to make Locke their new leader. Ben, on the other hand, is meant for a different fate. Look, he tells Locke. I have some real crazy s**t to take care of that nobody's really going to understand. Why don't you get out of here? And try not to set the island on fire or anything crazy like that LOL. Locke runs away and Ben crawls down one of the tunnels. What does he find on the other end? A wheel. But not just any wheel, a wheel of fortune. This is it for Ben. He knows that giving the wheel a spin means exiling himself from the island. With tears in his eyes, Ben buys a vowel, spins the wheel and the entire island disappears in a big flash of light.

The castaways on the chopper can't believe their eyes, the island's gone! Everyone's freaked out, but not as much as the chopper, which spins out of control and crashes into the water. Surprisingly, Aaron takes charge of the whole situation. "We've got to swim!" he yells, diving out of the wreckage. Jack's way out of breath, but is able to help everyone into an inflatable raft.

They spend most of their time alone arguing. Hurley can't believe that Locke was actually able to move the island. No, he didn't move the island, Jack says. Well then, what's Jack's explanation? Well, it wasn't the island that disppeared, it was the chopper. Hurley hits him. We all knew there was a lot of pent up anger there. Slowly, the seriousness of their situation sinks in. They're alone, in the middle of the south Pacific, with no one looking for them. What are they going to do?

???: Hello over there!

A boat! But not just any boat, it's Penny's boat! Of course, no one is more excited than Desmond to see her. How did she find them, he asks. She gives him the only answer that makes any sense, she followed her heart. True love triumphs in the face of overwhelming odds. It makes me want to puke. Together with Penny, they come up with a plan to get back to civilization, and cover up their entire experience on the island. They don't want to do it, but who's going to believe a crap story about a disappearing island? Together, the Oceanic 6 make their way back to civilization.

Years later, drunk Jack uses the powers of alcohol to break into the Hoffs/Drawlar Funeral Parlor. He spends a few minutes stumbling around, knocking things off of shelves before future Ben walks in, all decked out in some slick looking duds. He gives Jack a choice, he can take the blue or the red pill, but once he decides there's no going back. Jack makes his choice, he'll go back to the island. Ben tells him it's not good enough. They all have to come back. It won't be easy. Kate's looking hot in someone else's dress shirts, Aaron just graduated summa cum laude from Harvard, Hurley's being held in the Baltimore Hospital for the Criminally Insane, Sun is working with Cobra Commander to try and take over the world, and Sayid is busy finishing off Treadstone after his wife, Nadia, was killed in India. Ben smiles. Goooood. Before they leave, Ben looks back to the coffin. The one from last season that set the internets abuzz with theories as to who was inside.

Ben: Have you ever seen Weekend At Bernie's?

Jack: I'm thirsty.

Ben: Uhhh. Let's just go.

And we find that the body in the coffin, the mysterious Jonathan Lockeham, is none other than John Locke! Wha? How does that fit into the grand scheme of things? What happened on the island? What does this all me--

Hopefully we all got our fill, because that's it for the next seven months. With only 34 episodes left, it's going to be quite a ride until the end. Hopefully you've enjoyed LOSTWATCH!! as much as we've enjoyed writing it. See you all in February. Sucks, doesn't it?

Lost may not be the best show on television (Mad Men, for starters) but there isn't a show that I look forward to watching more, and when it's at its best, nothing can match its addictive watchability.  This season, a continuation of the return to form in the second half of Season 3, answered a lot of questions, and in true Lost fashion, did so by raising more questions.

It has to be extraordinarily difficult to tell one cohesive story over what will be 100+ hours, and to do so while revealing the mystery a little at a time can be frustrating.  But honestly, for all those out there who compalin about not getting answers, it's remarkable how much we know about the island and its history and its occupants (yes, yes, the smoke monster is still unexplained) compared to when we started.  Yet, there still seems like so much to explore in the final 2 seasons but I do have confidence in the writers to wrap things up and deliver a mind-blowing conclusion when it
