Up!, jeu Fêtes Diverses) étampé à l'encre craft blanche (Stampin'Up!).

À bientôt!

Bon samedi!

Made with Back Grey Lily Kate Collection pack and various shades of green, purple, blue and pink cardstock. SU Hostess set stamped in Pallette Noir ink, coloured in with COPICs and then sakura dots added, stickles and diamond glaze over top (front cover ones).

It was the first time I used my Zutter BIA, and I have to admit that probably reading the directions might have been good, but I was so short of time.

My friend Karen had asked me in the afternoon to produce this for her little Molly to add pictures and stories in for her nursery teacher. Given I had only about half an hour, it's not bad.

Bonjour, me revoici à une nouvelle adresse.

My Cousin had a baby boy at the end of last week, so this is off to NY.

Like buses, my cards usually come along in 2's or 3's, as I tend to use the stuff that's hanging around in the vicinity of my craft desk. So if it looks a little similar to the last one, that's because I used the same kind of card blank and the darling Sweetwater stars pattern paper.

Other supplies: Cricuit was George & All Mixed Up Cartridges; Stampendous "Hello Baby Set" for main image, inside the card and the envie; COPIC Markers; Palette Noir Ink. Also orange Bazzill and blue Scrapbook Sally cardstock, ribbon, silk flowers and orange brad.

it was for one of the girlies at work to send to a friend.

made with Sweetwater paper that's been hoarded for a very long time, bright orange and green bazzil cardstock, nesties and the "Cheers to You" SU set - oh, and of course coloured in with COPICs and with a bit of stickles on the foam bit of the beer.

I also made a whole lot of wee shopping bags with my Cricut, which I put some of the soap that was ready to be used in, and gave each of the girls at work one. Disappointingly, they were supposed to actually use it, but have been hoarding it. I mentioned on Friday, that they actually did need to use it and give me feedback, so fingers crossed on Monday that will have happened. I love my soap, but I need to know what other people think of it too.

I've done no crafting this weekend, but not unsurprisingly, have made two further batches of soap. Playing around with silk in them and also clay. They smell devine, and are women's shaving soap. Hopefully, they will turn out well.

It's been really nice to give the crafting a rest, I was beginning to feel that I was churning out just the same card in different colours, and I feel that some inspiration is beginning to form in my again. I love to say that I needed new stamps, but in reality I have so much virgin rubber, that is not really an excuse I can use.....my mojo's been off round the world!

Toodles and I went on a lovely bike ride this afternoon. We had to drag Guy along, as the bikes don't fit in my car, so he drove down with us to the local Countrypark at Hayesden, and we did several circuits of the lake. It was beautifully sunny, and such a precious time together. We then sat on a bench in the play area and scoffed Mr Whippy with flakes - yum.

This was the first time that we've managed to get out for more than a quick ride, which is quite disgusting considering I got the bike just before Christmas - and just goes to show just how busy we are as a family (it's a modern day sickness having no time for quality family bits and bobs).

I am in Scottsdale now where the temperature is about 115 and it is 7pm! I got here late last night after a very fun day in Seattle at a Copic certification class whereI met a lot of really friendly and talented ladies(& 1 gentleman) and learned lots of new tips and techniques. (Not to mention a new item I "have" to purchase, like the air brush system!) I am dying to try out all of they fun stuff we went over in class but I didn't bring anything down here with me. :( I will have all next weekend though to play. I am going to check out a couple of stamp stores down here in the Phoenix/Scottsdale area, that will be fun.

I am also hoping now that Trevor is out of college for the summer that he will help me load, crop and upload all of my paper crafting item pictures to my eBay store. I am hoping to get this all up and running by the end of July at the latest, but you know what they say about the best laid plans... I am going to try anyway! :)

Trev is also going to load up some of my cards I have made so far and post them on here, again probably not until after the 4th.

Have a great weekend!

I salivate over the lovely things pieces of work that Zindorf produces, and have resolved to definitely get to know my brayer.

I've set myself the target of doing 101 pieces of artwork with it - not every day, but at least once a week is the plan - and then hopefully by the end of that the brayer and I will be best buds.

So, this is number 101 on the countdown.

I'm quite pleased with it, but do still need to work on keeping the middle section a defined colour.

Supplies:

Whispers White Cardstock (SU)

Seahorse stamp (Anita's)

Fern & starfish stamps (Stampington Bolio set)

SU Dye Inks in Bareley Banana, Certain Celery, Old Olive & Chocolate Chip

Denim Adirondak Dye Ink

Palette Noir ink

Versamark Pen

Chiaro Flo Clear Embossing Powder

COPIC Markers in Flesh, Pink & Yellow

Last weekend we had pentecost holidays here in Germany, and Monday has been an additional "day off". On this day we went to a beautiful little island called Pfaueninsel (peacock island) in Berlin. Beautiful flowers, an amazing park, and, of course peacocks. One couple is pure white. As soon I was back home I had to do some drawing.

I’d started doing Cute Card Thursday last week, which had a Garden theme, and didn’t

I'd started doing Cute Card Thursday last week, which had a Garden theme, and didn't have time to finish it, so I combined the gems (or in this case Mink Special Edition Zoomz) on to the card to cover both challenges.

Acutally, it works quite well, because The Galaxy put up some Zoomz as prizes on the Challenge this week, so it's quite appropriate to include Zoomz on my card - not hard though, as I use them all the time anyway.

Supplies:

Petrol Blue, Pink & Brown cardstock (Prism) & Whispers White (SU)

Small pieces of floral & green pattern paper (from my Anna Griffin box set)

French Manuscript Stamp (Oasis11E)

Tree For All Seasons Stamp (SU set)

Palette Nor Ink

Chocolate Chip & Olive Ink (SU)

COPIC Markers (keep an eye on the Galaxy these might just be landing any time)

Coffee orzanga ribbon & small cream silk ribbon

Mink Special Edition Zoomz

Nestabilities circle dies

Scor-it board

Concave punch (Creative Imagination)

Fiskars trimmer (the cutting deck bit is getting a bit knackered at the moment)

Pretty straight forward card really, cut out the innter circle from white cardstock, stamped on the summer tree image from the set and coloured in with COPICS. Matted on pink, then green, then brown cardstock.

Stamped french manuscript on pink cardstock twice (one below the other), the cut out and inked on Chocolate Chip ink. Put on a larger than I would normally use matt, and then used then produced ticket corners. Tied round some brown organza ribbon, and a tiny scrap of cream silk ribbon. ** Zindorf's inspiring me so much at the moment, and the sponged on Chocolate Chip ink was a homage to her, also I saw a fabbie card on Deb's blog, and this gave me the idea for using the script stamp (I think the original card came from Heather).

The floral pattern paper was cut to size, and edged with Old Olive ink, then placed on the lefthand side, added the manuscript section over the top, and the circle image over this positioned slightly to the top right.

Zoomz placed at bottom left, and more coffee organza round spine.

I will place an insert inside with a stamped image, and decorate the envie as usual, and also I stamp an old Handstamped image on the back of the card (it's an old SU set that I bought from Caz).

***

In our house, these pesky Sylvanian's get everywhere (as you can see from the pic). Lydia's just taken delivery of the Wedding Chapel, thus the bridge and groom are out for a photographic opportunity before getting hitched!

Thank to Guy I got a better picture of the card than my first attempt, apparently (and as he's just proved) it's not the camera, but me. I think I really do need to invest in a light tent, as I can't phaff around taking things outside to photograph.

Hopefully, when I get a studio outside, then I can have a light tent permanently set up.

Doodle thingy as well as messing around with my markers because I don't like going for too long without using them. It's actually just to reassure myself that spending $9 on an E00 Various Ink wasn't a waste of money and that it won't evaporate if I don't use it for too long.

This is Hina Kagiyama from Touhou. She's the goddess of curses.
