Quedo més guapo que el Borat, ja t'ho dic ara...

L'altre dia al Carrefour del Gran Via 2 vaig arrassar. Em vaig comprar 6 calçotets, aprofitant que allà els tenen del pal 2x3€. Ara fa dos o tres dies que els estic estrenant i la veritat és que em van bé!

Esclar, en necessitava per a Austràlia i total, passo de gastar-me 30€ en uns Calvin Klein com tothom del meu gimnàs. Primer que m'hi arruïnaria; segon que de marca o no marca, em duren tots el mateix: el que tarda la goma a donar-se, uns 3 anys!

I total, hi tinc el mateix problema siguin de 3€ el parell al Carrefour, o de 30 la unitat del CK: si em vénen be de cintura, em solen apretar de davant. Esclar, com que sóc prim i no faig gaire cul (però en canvi sí que faig bastant de... hehehehehe), doncs no m'acaben d'anar bé. I s'ha de dir que aquests barateros del Carrefour són dels més po(r)tables que tinc!

Nutid: En tråkig sak har hänt, min klocka är försvunnen. Tappade nog den igårnatt när det var firma fest. Eller blev bestulen? Hursomhelst, måste jag ha en ny. Så jag satt och tänkte på den där gudomliga klockan som jag inte köpte, men det slutar bara med att jag blir förbannad. Överallt försöker jag finna just den och mina ögon har stängst för alla andra. "calvin klein klockor" googlar jag varenda minut och visst finner jag klockor men inte just den, den som jag vill ha.

-Creo que hoy le va a tocar a ése.- Y se lo señalo.

Camiseta UCB con las letras del tamaño de cabezas humanas; pantalones Energie con el logo repetido a lo largo de las perneras; un cinturón tan grueso como el de un campeón mundial de boxeo: la E de Emporio y la A de Armani forman la descomunal hebilla.

Y me contesta:

-Puajj, realmente nauseabundo, pero mide casi dos metros... Demasiado para nosotros.

-Va, tío, nosotros somos dos.

-No sé, no sé...

Pero entonces nuestra inminente víctima saca de algún sitio unas gafas de sol y se las pone. La D y la G rebosan la patilla, joder, y Marc concluye:

-Vale, es él.

Empezamos a seguirle a distancia prudencial. Durante las siguientes dos horas le vemos entrar en una infinidad de tiendas de moda. En una de ellas se compra seis pares de calzoncillos Calvin Klein. De ésos con la marca bien visible en el elástico. De ésos que hacen que la gente vaya por ahí enseñando el culo para que todo el mundo pueda ver que llevas unos gallumbos del puto señor Klein. En fin, todo muy hiriente. Marc y yo empezamos a estar realmente cabreados. Y encima el puto engendro decide acabar su jornada de shopping tirándose media hora en una cabina de rayos UVA.

Mientras esperamos a que salga noto que la prisa me va invadiendo. A ver si este tipo sale de aquí y pilla un taxi o un deportivo descapotable para volver a casa. A ver si se nos va a escapar. ¿Por qué no entramos y nos lo cargamos mientras se broncea?

Pero Marc me frena. Marc siempre me frena. Supongo que si no fuera por él ya estaría a la sombra. Gracias, Marc, siempre a tus pies.

En efecto, no había por qué ponerse nervioso. El hombre-anuncio sale de la tienda de soles y echa a andar hacia calles cada vez más despejadas. Quince minutos después entramos tras él en su portal. Y me cago en la puta, aquello es un palacio. Por suerte, el portero ya debe de haber acabado su jornada de lameculos. Allí en el zagúan no hay nada más que un tipo realmente alto y corpulento y bronceado y depilado -ascoascoasco - y el ruido del ascensor bajando y Marc y yo, con las manos temblando.

-Tío, vas muy cargado -le suelto.

Y supongo que el especimen se siente amenazado de algún modo porque hace ademán de ponerse en guardía. Pobre cretino... Marc ya se le ha echado encima. Y en seguida yo. Y 1 + 1 es más que 1. Así que no nos resulta difícil quitarle las gafas, arrancarles las patillas y empezar a golpear, arriba y abajo, zas, zas, zas, zas, cada uno con una de ellas. Al principio el tío grita como un ser humano; pero no tarda en ponerse a chillar como una rata o algo aún más insignificante. Le amordazamos con algo que sacamos de una de sus bolsas. Son unos calcetines Adolfo Domínguez. Y, claro, seguimos clavando y clavando. Con más saña. Tiene ya varios boquetes en el torso. Las letras de UCB que utiliza para exhibir su perímetro torácico hace ya un rato que han dejado de ser blancas. Clavamos y clavamos y pienso Joder, estas gafas son realmente de buena calidad. No se han doblando ni un poquito. Y pasamos a los ojos. Todo ese vítreo manando. Parece gel. Parece semen. Algo gelatinoso y gris claro.

Ya casi no se mueve cuando veo que Marc está levantándole la camiseta y le palpa las costillas.

-Espera un momento; aún no.

Entonces le quito el cinturón y caliento la hebilla con el mechero. Se la grabo en la frente. Y le digo a mi amigo:

-Vale, adelante.

Marc busca con los dedos el tercer espacio intercostal izquierdo de lo que tenemos a los pies, e introduce poco a poco la patilla. Es carne humana, pero el plástico entra fácil. Como en mantequilla fundida.

2. I switched from cocoa butter lotion to Vitamin E. It's supposed to prevent wrinkles, and Lord knows my sunkissed (or damaged) face/body needs it..but no one cares, so moving on..

3. MARSHALLS! The Store. A few weekends back I found a pair of gold Steve Madden sandals there for 24.99. This past weekend I went to an actual Steve Madden store to do some shoe browsing/shopping and the saleswoman says, "Those sandals are so cute..where are they from?" Bitch, they are YOUR STORE'S brand. And I got them for a quarter of the price. Treated.

4. Calvin Klein's Rocci boot. Speakng of shoes..I keep coming back to these little booties. I've clicked on them about 5 times these past few weeks. I like them, OK? Peeps here.

First of all here's a belated:

The day was nippy and foggy, with lots of wind and not too much visibility, so you can imagine everyone's vexation and the organizer's mild chagrin when the million dollar fireworks ceremony blew cash into the wind. The fireworks had a lot of bang to it, and judging from the bright lights which lit up the fog-ridden sky, it would have been a spectacular show, if not for, well, the fog. Of course, picture-taking here was a wasted activity, but fear not, for I've found these two gorgeous fireworks pictures from past 4th of Julys with the help of Google. Unfortunately I lost the websites addresses where I found them, but if you see these pictures on some self-important website, it's probably theirs. (Sorry about it!)

I have also included a video by gsjourney of the fireworks show at Fisherman's Wharf in San Francisco where wywy and I celebrated the 4th of July.

Fogs and whatnot aside, I think the best part of the day for us was actually our sushi dinner at our current favorite Japanese restaurant - Shimo! Love love love the escolar sashimi, the creamy hamachi and my absolute favorite - fresh ika! They add shiso (a kind of herb better known as perilla) to it so it's simply heavenly. We go there almost once every fortnight so the chefs are even acquainted with us, sometimes they slip us some free nosh. :) Would love to add pictures but I realized that I haven't taken any; I guess I was too engrossed in eating! (Note to self: prepare to write a future entry detailing the delicacies of Shimo with pictures included.)

I remember banning myself from shopping but really, has anyone ever truly succeeded from that kinda thing? :lol: Summer school's rolling along like a fine steam engine, and it became almost a habit every week to shop for something *little* as some sorta encouragement to push myself along. I've rediscovered the allure of blue:

On to other stuff: this August's Lucky magazine features Leighton Meester! Although I've a love-hate relationship with the series Gossip Girl (yeah I think I mentioned more of the "hate" in one of my earlier entries, but I really do love the fashion) I must say that Ms. Meester is really becoming much of a fashionista in her own right! (Very much like the lovely R-Bils!) I've read it already - I do love Leighton's fashion choices, and her cute, dimpled cheeks.

However, if I can get this one right at my first guess, something is really wrong... I still stand by my appraisal of said entity's impression. He does look douche-y.

C'est tout. I have to go back to Philosophy!
