Auch sehr beeindruckend: der C-Campus von der Gemeinde auf dem Weg - good to see such a large church facility in Europe.
This was the setlist: They opened up with the most distinctive Hillsong bass line pumping out the system exploding into Tell the world. Next came One way, Jesus and I will dance, I will sing. Then a little introduction of Hillsong London Band and Matt Redman's Band, who went on with Blessed Be Your Name, Never Let Go, Heart Of Worship, How Great Is Our God. Especially the last two songs - just amazing! They almost left it completely to the 2000 souls in the auditorium to sing it. After that Matt led into an introduction of Compassion with some photo and video presentation. Hillsong's Pete Wilson continued with a bunch of hits including Mighty To Save, Hosanna, Jesus Is and many more I've not been so acquainted with before. Pete Wilson didn't hold back to use the opportunity to make some straight Jesus talk from off the stage. Very cool and profound. I think this is really a channel, especially Christian musicians have to learn to use in a appropriate, not-cheesy way, because it's such a huge opportunity to reach people with the message: Jesus saves! Anyone, at anytime, anywhere... Well, the Hillsong-peeps gave a shining example, in my opinion. At the end they again were givin' it some... with Dancing generation, Take it all, Time has come...However, "Jesus Is" definitely became my new fave-(Hill-)song.
