Blizz added these two NPCs back in 2.4 but in case you haven't noticed by now you can find Specialty Ammo Vendors in Shattrath City. Marksman Bova is located in the Aldor Rise at 37,27 while Archer Delvinar is in the Scryer Rise - 41,63.

Yay!

Now you don't have to port all over to buy your ammo since they sell ammo from both Hellfire Factions, Cenarion Expedition, Violet Eye and The Scale of Sands. Though you do have to have the correct reputation to buy them.

Taken from Wowhead: the discounts from this guy appear to be based on your reputation with the Scryers/Aldor, not the specific faction that sells the ammo. For example, my hunter is Exalted with the Violet Eye, but a stack of Mysterious Arrows sells for 95s (it should be 80s with the 20% discount).

Basically, if you slacked on repping up with Scryers/Aldor, it might be cheaper to pick up your Mysterious Arrows or Timeless Shells at the instance.

Last night I discovered that I can, finally, put my Blacksmith's Hammer into my Fel Iron Toolbox!! Woo-hoo! Other things that can be put into the Toolbox, Primal Nether and Primal Fires.

I thought I would share a list of Addons that I use to make my Warcraft hunting experience easier and convenient. I'm not saying that EVERYONE should use the same addons, but I find some that are quite helpful for not only hunters but other classes out there too. Here they are in no particular order.

Auctioneer
One of the greatest AddOns in the game. This helps you to keep current prices on tab for any loot you may find and how much you should sell them for on the Auction House.

Atlas
An in-game version of all the instance maps in Warcraft. They're very detailed layouts that include the zone, level range, entrance, exits, main boss locations and the location of flight points for both factions.

Deadly Boss Mods
My guild requires this for raiding, but I really enjoy it over some of the other boss mod programs. The timers are easy for me to see, they use a hierarchy system where they'll pop up at the top of your screen (I'm sure you can move them around but I like where they are) and when the important timers need to be up (say Maiden's Repentance) it moves it into the dead center of the screen. It also has a second count down timer. The other nice feature I like about this is the instant /tell it gives to people if they're sending you tells in the middle of a boss fight.

DMB also works great in the battlegrounds like Alterac Valley. It keeps timers on graveyards and bunkers and if you shift click on one of the timer bars you can broadcast it to the entire BG raid.

Sorren's Timers
I used to be a huge fan of Kharthus' Hunter Timers until I found Sorren's Timers. I liked them because the timers worked across the board for my other classes (my druid and rogue). It also gives you the option to move them, scale them, color them, etc. Though sometimes you'll get a timer for annoying things such as the campfire buff. It's easy enough to turn off though. I use them to keep track of my trap timers mostly. It's nice to see in a PVP situation when you set the trap down and when someone has triggered them.

Since the 2.4 patch someone has been kind enough to update this AddOn. It now includes an option to view your enemy's timers or even your group mates. If you thought it was helpful before, check this: say you're fin a heated match with an annoying, Blood Elf Paladin. As always, they bubble on you. Now what? Rather than wasting mana/energy/rage on them you can conserve too by keeping an eye on the timer which pops up that displays how much time is left on their bubble.

KLH ThreatMeter
Omen
Aetoh you talked me into it, and yes I love it. For those reading this for the first time, it's essentially the same as KLH ThreatMeter.

It's almost a must have by any guild who raids. It works like a damage meter but it tells you what your threat is. Quite important since I really don't want to pull aggro off our Main Tank in raids, or in any raid for that matter.

Okay, Okay.. Omen has gotten annoying since 2.4. I'll admit, I hate it too now but it's still the best that's out there, in my opinion. Fortunately, the creators give you the option to change skins on the meter so you don't have that huge HONKIN' box on your screen. Now if they'd put in a volume control so I don't hear explosions every time I pass my pet's threat.

Map Notes
Oh how I love my map notes addon, especially when I'm questing. It can save you lots off time of looking up locations on the internet between gaming. What I do is I'll load up on a bunch of quests in a zone, Thottbot the locs and then place markers with names and tasks in the correct locs. Then I can knock out all my questing in about an hour. The mapnotes are transferable between toons so if you do the quest once, mark it and don't delete it, it will always be there. There's also a mini map feature that will allow your mapnote to show up on your minimap with all the information you put in as well.

QuestHelper
This has replaced Map Notes for the most part. If you haven't seen my write up on QuestHelper, check it out. In a nutshell, it plots all the cords of all the quests in your queue on your map for you. Then it configures the best and fastest route for you to take to knock all your quests out. There's a bunch of other features that are so cool...just read my post on it.

Titan Panel
One of my other favorite AddOns. It allows you up to 3 bars that you can place on the top or bottom of your screen. These bars allow for other Titan AddOns that you can place onto the bar in any order you want. It allows me to keep track of my location, my money, honor, durability, guild members, etc. There are many different Titan Panel plug ins it's hard to choose from.

Other plug-ins I use with Titan are:

Titan Gold Tracker, this is an easy, efficient, and great way to keep track of money you've made and lost while playing. Once you log on alts, it will also keep track of their money all in one box so you can see how much gold you have across the board.

TitanHonorMarks, helps me keep track of my BG badges.

TitanGuild, a great plug in that tells you all your guild mates online, their level, guild rank and location

TitanCalendar, lets me know what up and coming Warcraft Events are near

TitanFriends, this keeps a little tab on your bar telling you how many of your friends are online or offline. If you mouse over the icon a box will pop down showing the names of your friends and it will allow you to send them an invite or a tell.

ZHunterMod
A specific mod just for us hunters. Why do I love this? Because it was one of the first hunter mods that gave extra buttons. Being the button pusher I am, it allowed me an extra row with all my aspects on them, another for my traps, and another for my tracking. It also has ZHunterAntiDaze which turns off your running aspects as soon as your hit. Of course there's more than what I listed, but I use this mod for just those things.

JiralAmmoWarning
Great little addon that flashes warnings when your ammo is low. You can set the amount to when you want to start seeing warnings and when it gets to a critical level, a box will actually pop up as a reminder.

StinkyQueue
This Addon allows you and anyone else in your party or raid queue up for the same Alterac Valley. Simple to use, and a must if you enjoy doing Battlegrounds with friends.

If you PvP, you may have noticed since 2.4 Blizzard has changed how preforms in the BGs work. You no longer are thrown against PuG groups, but rather match you up against other preforms. This makes it more of a challenge, but everyone wants the easy win. I will not release the name of the Addon, but there may be something out there that solves that.

CombatCaller
Though it says it's dependant on Cosmos, mine seems to work just fine. It will send an emote when your health/mana reaches a certain percentage point. Also your toon will yell "Heal me" or "My mana is low." It also works on pets too by sending a warning via emote too: "Wulf warns that Kiba needs healing."

Proximo
Since I started getting into the arenas, I found this neat little mod that all you have to do is mouse over you opponents and their class pops up in a window, even if you can't tell what they are right off the bat. It's also nice when everyone on your arena team has it because all you need is one person to mouse over your opposing team and the info will show up on everyone's screen. It also keeps track of their health in percentages, and the window makes them targetable when you click their name.

BaudMount
This Addon ables your toon to automatically switch out trinkets and/or riding gear once you mount up. What makes this feature so nice is they've allowed options for Azeroth and Outland mounts not to mention a nice little check box if you want to use your riding trinkets in the Battlegrounds or not.

RatingBuster
I recently added this to my own Addons after reading about this. RatingBuster allows you to compare stats of armor/weapons against each other to help you figure out which item will give you more bang. It can also be configured to show you what stats would look like if you socketed an item one way, then socketed them another way without having to spend 500g on gems. Though I am still learning all the little features RatingBuster has to offer, BRK did a wonderful write up on this Addon and it can be found here.
