Nach fast einem Jahr in Köln ist das ganze sogar noch witziger, weil man die benannten Vorurteile in abgewandelter Form erleben konnte. Wobei ich mich klar von Beleidigungen in der mp3-Datei gegen die Kölner distanzieren möchte! *Klippe umschifft*

Das Kölsch beispiel trifft es aber ziemlich genau... Als "nicht" Kölner kann man das kaum trinken! Aus Integrationsgründen zwingt man sich jedoch immer wieder dazu. Ich empfehle "Schuss" oder "Kölsch-Radler" zu bestellen, das hilft dem "nicht" Kölner ungemein.

Sehr nett auch was ein Ureinwohner in einem Test einer speziellen Kölschmarke zum besten gegeben hat. Mir kommt es aber so vor als wäre ihm die Marke fast egal. Hauptsache Kölsch und möglichst viel ;)

Before I came to Germany, I joked that by coming here I would get to have my winter during summer. Well, it ends up that I was right. The last week it has been chilly and rainy (but not the summer rain we were getting before), and today it was different. When I woke up, it was cloudy, but not rainy; 11 degrees (~50 F) with an expected high of 15 (~64); and no real jacket since mine ripped in Amsterdam. So, I did something I really didn't want to do...

I wore my big ol' UA hoodie. Mike had made fun of it, and joked how I wore it to the carnival. Christoph & Christian told me that this is what they think of as stereotypical, US college clothing - and it definitely is... you know, especially when that hoodie is red, white and blue. LOL.

But it was great today, because it was chilly out, but not raining - perfect weather for a walk. So I strolled to the lab and worked. All day. It was great. I plated more single seeds. I prepared a ton of slides from my Alternaria assays with different staining, which was difficult, because I am totally not used to preparing full size leaves. So great! And in little ten minute gaps between two hour marathon slide sessions I got to blog!

And then there was a BBQ potluck, where we all brought our own meat, but Jorge paid for the two crates of beer (about 24 bottles each), and one crate of bionade (fruit juice and alcohol in a bottle). Tasty

Oh, and I was dinked on a bike . I know, it sounds bad, huh? But just a few days after I learned in Amsterdam that 'dinking' is riding double on the back of a bike where the rear rack is, I caught a ride this way back from the ZMDP with Anna. So instead of walking for 30 minutes, or waiting for the bus to take me back way, she offered me a ride on the back. It was terrifying, and fun, with us laughing and giggling half the way as we talked. And fast!

Juhhuu!! Den ersten Zwischenstopp habe ich geschafft und nun sitze ich in einem Kaffee Cafe im Bangkoker Airport und kann 20 Minuten kostenlos ins Internet, wenn ich vorher was fuer 150 Bat gekauft habe - circa 2,50 Euro. Ganz schoen teuer, aber ansonsten passt es - ausser, dass es kein Eurozeichen auf der Tastatur gibt, y und z vertauscht sind und die oes, aes und ues fehlen. Passt, ich habe Internet gefunden, ich bin gluecklich.

Aber der Reihe nach: Am Frankfurter Flughafen ging es gleich gut los, als ich beim Abgeben meines Rucksackes eben jenen nochmal ausraeumen durfte, weil ich die Feuerzeuge drin gelassen hatte. Huch. Hatte mir irgendwie eingebildet, dass das erlaubt waere. Spaeter bei der Sicherheitskontrolle haben die mich dann mit sogar zwei Feuerzeugen in meinen Hosentaschen durchgelassen. Vorher den Abschied von den Eltern gut ueberstanden, Trudi (Insider) mit den auf den Weg bekommen - hat heute Nacht auf meinem Bauch geschlafen. Dann ewig lang von der einen zur anderen Seite im Flughafen Frankfurt rumgeirrt, weil ich diese doofen Raucherraeume finden wollte. Hab ich dann auch und mich gefuehlt wie im Zoo - nur, dass ich das Tier war. Glaskaesten waren das, eingepfercht und diskrimminiert habe ich mich gefuehlt. Naja, lang warten musste ich gar nicht, weil irgendwie nochmal mit Jedem telefoniert vor der Abreise.

Dann ab in den Flieger zu Thai Airways. Einen Fensterplatz habe ich bekommen und mein Nachbar hat mich nach fuenfmal laut durch das Abteil schreien auch gehoert, um mich aufs Klo zu lassen. Schliesslich laeuft Bier ja schnell durch ;o) Ansonsten bin ich mit der Fluggesellschaft sehr zufrieden, jeder hatte einen eigenen Bildschirm vor der Nase, sowie Decke und Kopfkissen. Eine richtige Speisekarte mit der Wahl zwischen zwei Gaengen wurde mir praesentiert und alles in feinem, hoechst erotischen Lila als Corporate Design. Sehr schick und edel - auch, wenn es nur Economy Class war, mir hat es gereicht. Ach je und die Filme ... eine riesige Auswahl, ich wusste gar nicht was ich zuerst gucken sollte. Hatte im Endeffekt Zeit fuer zwei Filme, zwischendurch hab ich ein bisschen geschlafen - so zweimal zwei Stunden. Mein Nachbar meinte auch irgendwie die ganze Zeit, sein extrem grelles Licht anlassen zu muessen, was es mir nicht gerade leicht machte, zu schlafen. Ansosten sind wir dann um 12.48 Uhr Ortszeit (7.48 Uhr in Deutschland) gelandet, der Kaffee zum Fruehstueck war grausam - war das Einzige, was ich auszusetzen hatte.

Tja, hier duerften es so circa 32 Grad sein und ziemlich schwuel, aber von allem krieg ich nichts mit, weil ich nicht ausm Flughafen raus kann. Doch, fuer irgendeine Gebuehr, die ich gerade vergessen hab. Ansonsten heisst es jetzt erstmal warten, bis es weiter geht. Hab mal gerade 5 Euro in Bat getauscht, ergab 262. Ob der Kurs jetzt gut ist: Keine Ahnung. Ist ja nicht fuer lange. Und auch wenn es jetzt einige aergern wird, kann ich mit Stolz berichten, dass ich mir im Duty Free gerade eine Stange Lucky Strike fuer umgerechnet 10 Euro gekauft habe ;o)

So, bis zur Boarding Time sind es noch 3 1/2 Stunden, werde die schon mit Kaffee trinken rumkriegen - habe gerade ein Lavazza entdeckt! Dann ab nach Sydney. Weiss noch nicht, wie schnell ich mich dann von dort melden kann, weil erstmal ins Hostel fahren und so ... wird aber schon. Lebe auch noch und bin nur durch die Muedigkeit ein wenig angeschlagen ;)

Ausgemacht war ja eigentlich, dass wir entweder gemeinsam auf ein Bier gehen oder er auf ein Bier zu mir vorbeikommt – und was bringt er mit? Rosa Mineralwasser – er ist auf Diät… Alle Achtung hätte ich ihm nicht zugetraut, dass er ans Abnehmen denkt – aber, was Frauen so alles bewirken können ;-).

Zuerst bei mir im Garten später am Computer unterhielten wir uns über meinen neuen Job und was sich sonst so bei uns in den letzten Wochen getan hatte. Schließlich ist es ja schon wieder richtig lange her, dass wir uns gesehen haben (da war es aber glaub ich noch das Bier und kein Mineralwasser…). Seine größte Verwunderung galt meiner fleißigen Blog-Tätigkeit. Immerhin seit ersten Juli ist kein Tag ohne einen Post vergangen – es wundert mich selbst wie viel Spaß ich am Schreiben habe. Vielleicht bin ich durch die Berufsreifeprüfung wieder auf den Geschmack gekommen…

Ich kann mich an den Tag noch erinnern, als ich das Welcome Package aus dem Bremer Bürgercenter bekommen und mit welchem Lächeln ich die Flasche Haake darin entdeckt habe. Nun ist es soweit. Ich bin kein Bremer mehr. Nachdem ich nun den Reisepass beantragt habe und die Nette, aber auf einem Freitag um 7:45 noch etwas verpeilte, Mitarbeiterin im Bürgercenter nach einer Ab- oder Anmeldung gefragt habe, warf sie mir leider ein "ja" an den Kopf und schon unterschrieb ich die Abmeldung aus der schönen Stadt Bremen. Ohne Wohnsitz in Deutschland bin ich nun auf dem Papier zumindest wohl obdachlos. Dann werd ich mich zur Feier des Tages auch mal an den Wall mit nem Buch von Kafka setzen, damit ich meine psychische Niedergeschlagenheit und Depressive Grundstimmung weiter untermauere und den Menschen in meiner Umgebung eine Stimmung vermittele die den vor mir aufgestellten kleinen Behälter füllen lässt, damit ich mir in Finnland dann eine Flasche mehr vodka genehmigen kann, denn irgendwie muss man den Schmerz und die Trauer ja bewältigen. Ein Gutes bringt das ganze vielleicht. Wenn ich mich im Januar hier wieder anmelde, gibt's vielleicht eine weitere Flasche Haake in einem weiteren Welcome Package.

Nach der EM ist vor dem Oasencup und es war ein toller Tag mit vielen Leuten aus der Jugenraumzeit in der Oase.

Jedes Jahr wieder ein gelungener Tag mir Fussball, Grillen und Bier trinken.

Ich habe dieses Minispiel direkt über den iPod Touch im App Store runtergeladen und installiert, dauerte beides zusammen um die 90 Sekunden.

-Installation-

Wie eben erwähnt, habe ich zum ersten Mal ein Programm aus dem App Store über den neuen App Store Button beim Touch 2.0 geladen. Ging für die Verhältnisse mit 90 Sekunden (downloaden und installieren) recht zügig!

-Programmumfang-

iPint ist nicht wirklich umfangreich. Entweder man trinkt sein virtuelles Bier und ist DER Gagmaster auf der nächsten Party (war bei mir so) oder aber man spielt eines der 3 Spiellevel, um am Ende auch wieder sein virtuelles Bier zu süffeln. Anschließend kann man ein virtuelles Pint via E-Mail an einen Freund schicken.

-Der (tägliche) Gebrauch-

Also, "nur" das Bierchen zu süffeln ist ein witziger Hingucker auf Partys mit Leuten, die sowas entweder noch nie gesehen haben oder aber selbst schon so breit sind, um das total witzig zu finden :-D Ansonsten startet man eines der 3 Level und muss anhand der iPod- oder iPhone Sensoren sein Bierglas über einen Tresen manövrieren, dies macht man durch Neigen oder Kippen des Endgeräts. Klappt auch tadellos, war ein netter Funktionstest! Allerdings währt der Spielspaß nur kurz. Level 1 ist "nur geradeaus", Level 2 hat ein paar Biegungen und Level 3 ist ein sehr kurvenreicher Tresen, wo man aber auch in etwa 30 Sekunden durchkommt. Am Ende warten 2 Hände, in die das Glas muss. Rutscht man daneben, darf man nochmal von vorn beginnen.

Bei Level 1 war ich so schnell im Kippen, dass mein Glas außer Sichtreichtweite war, der Tresen war noch zu sehen und da war das Spiel schon durch, da ich "blind" die Hände getroffen habe. Tja, zu schnell für das Spiel ;-)

Nun, nach Erreichen des Ziels, darf ich wieder wie gewohnt mein Bierglas füllen lassen und austrinken. Dann auch noch schnell eine Mail mit dem Pint an meinen Saufkumpel rausjagen, sofern ich WLAN habe.

-Vor- und Nachteile-

+ kostenlos
+ witzige (und einfache) Spielidee, selbst meine kleine Cousine kann es spielen
+ "Bierglas leertrinken" auf Partys ein kleiner Gag (Hingucker)

- nur 3 Level
- selbst Level 3 zu leicht
- frisst ordentlich Prozessorpower und knabbert somit stark am Akku
- ich bin zu schnell für das Spiel -> Bier ist außer Reichweite, kam aber an

-FAZIT-

Für die Party als Hingucker witzig, aber zu schnell durchgespielt, zu leicht und sehr prozessorlastig. Dafür kostenlos. Ich werds erstmal auf dem Touch lassen und ein paar virtuelle Biere trinken - aber lange wird das "Spiel" nicht verweilen, denke ich.

L'ho provata l'altra sera presso il ristorante Addis Ababa, in Overtoom, un ristorante etiopico dove si ha la scelta di mangiare con le mani o con le posate.

Ho provato quella alla banana e devo dire che all'inizio e` molto buona...ma verso la fine stanca un po' ... troppo dolce.

La birra e` prodotta equo solidalmente in Africa e puo` essere acquistata anche in Italia...

Für heute hatte ich mir ja viel vorgenommen – tja vielleicht zu viel aber immerhin habe ich den einen oder anderen Punkt abarbeiten können. Das Fahrrad ist umgetauscht gegen ein Mountainbike, zwei Waschmaschinen voll Wäsche sind erledigt und ich habe einen Spray zur Luftbefeuchtung im Terrarium gekauft. Die Sache mit dem Fahrrad hat etwas länger gedauert als geplant und natürlich konnte ich mir die Testfahrt danach nicht entgehen lassen, so blieben einige andere Tagesordnungspunkte leider auf der Strecke.

Aus dem ursprünglich geplanten „Fortgehen“ wurde mangels Mitgeher nichts – aber ich wurde zu einer kleinen Grillfeier eingeladen. Eigentlich handelte es sich um die Geburtstagsfeier einer Freundin vom Michi & Co. Als mich der Michi vorstellen wollte sagten wir beide, dass wir uns bereits kennen würden - Frage sich nur woher. Ein wenig später am Abend kamen wir dann auf des Rätsels Lösung – wir hatten denselben Kurs auf der VHS belegt: Berufsreifeprüfung Englisch bei der Molly. Einziger unterschied: Sie war bis jetzt zu feige die Prüfung abzulegen.

Alles in allem ein netter Grill - Nachmittag & Abend – ordentlich gegessen – ordentlich getrunken - einige nette Menschen kennen gelernt – und zum Abschluss das Auto stehen gelassen – aber zum glück ergab sich eine Mitfahrgelegenheit…
