Posted by Tilia

Oh, the night I've had.

So, yeah, I'm moving in nine days. My last day of work is next Saturday (which is in seven days), and I thought I'd have roughly until then to settle the matter(s) on Guitar Guy.

Apparently, I was all sorts of wrong.

Tonight was Guitar Guy's birthday (oddly enough, it's also my kid brother's birthday. Whatever.) So, I had a massive amount of trepidation about going in tonight, and even briefly considered calling in, so I wouldn't have to deal with the inevitable group of friends, including the girlfriend, that would show up to wish him good tidings.

I even found out a few days ago that there would be a cake and ice cream, which I assumed would mean that it was an even bigger deal, therefore an even more solid confirmation that the Girlfriend would show up. I was unable to handle even the mental image of Guitar Guy receiving a birthday kiss from anyone but me.

However, the cake and ice cream seemed to be just from the band, and handled entirely in the green room, so that was a relief. Guitar Guy swung down between the first and second sets (there are four), and I grabbed him to wish him a happy b-day, and all that jazz.

"So, my last day is next Saturday," I said, in an off-handed, pleasebeworkingSaturday type of way.

"Oh ... I'm gone all next week."

There was a long pause in which we stared at him, and then I glanced at his mouth. "So, that means that tonight is ..." I trailed off, not really sure how I should phrase, "the last opportunity I have to rape you."

"Yeah," he said, checking his phone for the time. The next set was about to start so he leaned forward and squeezed my shoulder. "I will be back," he promised, but then was forced to run to the stage.

During the next set, while alternately having really intense eye sex with Guitar Guy, a Boy came in who has been casually dating one of my good friends, a light tech from the club, who wasn't in tonight. The Boy is very sweet, if not slightly below my friend's potential league, and I swung by to say hello and chat him up a bit.

"Where is Josh tonight?" the Boy asked.

"Oh, he's off yesterday and today," I answered, jovially.

"Really?"

"Yeah, we went to see The Dark Knight, yesterday. It was amazing."

"... Well, then apparently I've been repeatedly lied to. Because, he told me he had to work every day for the past two weeks, and was booked solid for the weekend."

"... oh ... um ... oh ..."

Now, honestly, what was I supposed to do? I immediately told the other working light tech, and we texted him to warn him, but never got responses. I now have a slip of receipt paper in my apron that says, "Tell Josh I'll miss him."

I feel responsible. But, honestly!

How was I to know?

Anyway, so, around the time we were texting Josh about me completely screwing up his romantic venture, I noticed this very petite woman dressed like a cheap stripper near the sound booth. I knew immediately that this was the Girlfriend.

Physically, she's polar opposite of me. I'm reasonably tall (5'6"), curvy, blonde, and I look my age, which is 22. This girl looked OLD, but I guess hot in a far-away sort of manner. She was kinda-Asian, super small, and boy-shaped.

It honestly astounds me that the same man would find both of us attractive.

I should also mention that the other time I've seen her, she didn't look Asian. Just tonight. Maybe it was the caked on eye makeup.

I passed by her, with my eyes still locked on his, and looked at her next to me, then back to him. He didn't even realize who I'd looked at for another few minutes. So, even if she didn't know who I was before that point, she knew now.

She spent the rest of the evening glaring at me. I suppose this was warranted, but I'm pretty sure she knew who I was before she even got there, since it was in front of one of her friends/co-workers that I found out about her existence.

He came down after the next set, and I brought him a shot the door host had bought him. I did this quickly so to not be forced to meet her, but he hadn't even made time for her yet. When he did, they stood a polite distance apart and conversed.

The Light Tech for this evening went on and on about how much closer he stands to me when we talk. It's true. There's chemistry between us, even if there's comfort between them. Comfort relationships depress me.

As she talked to him, she continued to glare at me. This, for some reason, put me in a better mood, and I continued to flounce about, making obscene amounts of money off of my tables.

So, since nothing aside from continued eye contact (right in front of her!) happened for the next set, we're going to skip ahead to the next break, where he and she go outside and have a giant blow-out argument. I wonder if I was part of it.

She stormed back in, tears running down her face, which seemed to put everyone in the club into a morbidly good mood, and he just didn't seem to care in the least. He went back on stage, and had a great time.

We even had some close proximity eye contact after that, including a booth leaving and me cleaning it in the most inappropriate way possible. I climbed into it, sitting basically on my knees and wiped it down in un-necessarily slow circles with my eyes on him.

He liked it.

The table probably never got all the way clean.

And I found out afterward that all the while, she was upstairs leaning over the balcony, right in his line of view, with big crocodile tears and a pout, and he just ignored her, and watched me clean a table.

Unfortunately, she never just left, which I was counting on, since this would be the probable last time I'd ever see him.

So, when the night ended, and she was still following him around like the Super Nintendo version of Zelda, I weaved my way through the tables toward him as he was waving goodbye.

"You know I'll never see you again, right?" I said, loudly, drawing his attention as I got closer.

"Right. Never again," he said, as though we're destined to see each other over and over for the rest of our lives.

"You have to say goodbye," I said, and went to give him a light hug, since she was standing right there, but he scooped me into his arms hard, and held me very tight.

After a moment's hesitation, I threw my arms around his neck and sank into it myself. "I'm going to miss you, you know. I really am."

"I know," he said.

"I know that you know," I responded, tearfully, and he leaned his head against mine. If she hadn't been standing there, we would've kissed. We both felt it.

Apparently, she just stood there with her jaw on the ground, staring at us, then grabbed his guitar and made a huffy beeline for the door.

So, while not ideal, the night was kind of awesome. However, it should've been awesome of it's own accord, not as the Last Night We'd Ever See Each Other. What shit timing, seriously.

So, a few minutes ago, I added him on facebook. As soon as he approves me, I'm sending him a message letting him know that I never got to say goodbye like I wanted to, my phone number, and an invitation for "coffee or something."

He may be out of town until I move. Gone.

It may be over now. But, it shouldn't be. It was never supposed to end like this.

Maybe it hasn't.

How cool is that??

She says:

I am the owner of that planner! I googled my name out of boredom and found your post! What a funny quirky thing, now I am wondering whose couch it was in originally! Also, the necklace is mine as well, it’s one of the first things I ever made! You can see what my jewelry is like now on my Etsy site.

Thanks for making me laugh!

You can check out her etsy here
(It's gorgeous!)

That totally made my day.

Some nice person created a nice chart that ranks all these superheroes. Original link. A pop-culture geek made this list. I don't recognise maybe a third of the names up there, and there are some, uh, interesting choices. Paul Atreidas? Ender Wiggins? Yorick Brown? Arthur Dent? WALL-E?

-

In other news last night I dreamt of a zombie apocalypse. I remember the lighting was really bleak, and there was even a coastal evacuation scene. Fortunately I woke up before I got eaten.

My dreams are epic. I wasn't even doing anything remotely zombie related yesterday. Somedays I wonder what my subconscious is trying to tell me.

Jonas Brothers on stage at Hershey Park Stadium 07.25.08.

Cpaig: "Amazingly wonderful and blissfully awesome."

Mememoi: "These guys here? Pretty much the bomb." - (my imagined internal Garbo-dialogue for the above photo, directed towards us, of course. And also my general feeling about the show.)

Click through to hear all about it [SPOILER WARNING!!!]

We are just back from Hershey after seeing our first show on the Burnin' Up Tour!!

In a word, it was amazing (though that word doesn't come close to explaining how fun it was). The trip went fairly well with only minor glitches. Those being that we got caught in traffic and then had to walk a half a mile through the parking lot (I wish I was exaggerating about this) so we missed Demi Lovato's set (we will get another chance to see her on Aug. 27), and I got slightly lost on the way home - but that was Google's fault.

The stadium was nearly three times the size of the venue where we saw the LMITE show in March...and it was packed.

[Mememoi: Kevin Jonas himself pointed out that this was their first ever Jonas stadium show. Special?! I should think so.]

It was really cool getting to saunter past over 25,000 people to get to our seats - new for us. We had to go through two checkpoints. We were seated 13 rows back about 10 seats from the centerstage aisle, Kevside. We were approximately 30 feet from the stage and 15 feet from the catwalk.

We got to our seats, got some lemonade, and waited for Avril's set to start. We chatted with our young section mates a little, and made snarky comments to each other about the text messages being beamed to the screens. People were plotting "Nick J is off the Chain" chants, asking people to "bark if you love Joe" as well as to "scream if you love the Jonas Bothers"...it was entertaining.

[Mememoi: Also! I totally spotted a minor JB fanworld weblebrity (headbanded in the vid) who sidled past us to take her seat; she is visible in the Bonus Jonas DVD, for some reason she always stood out to me so it was funny to see her, LOL...oh, we had better seats, though. Heh.]

When Avril's set started it was clear that nearly everyone was there for JB. Not many people danced or cheered. Mememoi and I got into the groove out of respect. She has a very lovely voice (and a very hot backup band). Her "co-headlining" set lasted 45 minutes. It was fine.

[Mememoi: Her bass player can totally call me.]

We bopped around watching the crew set up the stage as we listened to the pre-show music: Weezer, Muse, Daft Punk... then Queen...and the lights went dark and the band could be seen taking their places...and then...

OMG!!! (note: this is not from Hershey)

After that I don't remember much. I was too busy screaming my head off, dancing, jumping. Or rather, I can't remember much to give you excruciating details, but I can give you an overview of what I thought.

The show went from 0 to 60 tacking the first four songs together so that no one could take a breath. The staging was awesome and the set overall was planned out well with lulls when everyone needed a break. Mememoi and I noted that it is exhausting just being at a performance, we can't imagine how they must feel.

All of the new songs were awesome: "Love Bug", "Video Girl", and "BB Good" in particular. The Shania Twain cover was well executed and the crowd loved it.

Their performance of "Gotta Find You" was sweet and they brought up a little girl who sang along, nearly cheek to cheek with Joe like such a little trooper. She was so cute you couldn't even think of being jealous of her. Demi returned here. Her stage presence is immense.

The audience was great and sang along with all of the songs. From where we were the sound was wonderful and we could hear their voices and instruments clearly (unlike at our LMITE show in Reading, PA). Some of this we attribute to being closer to the stage, and some to our wonderful new earplugs that kept the sound crisp (but not so loud) while keeping most of the crowd sound out.

We were the dancingest, singingest pair in our immediate section. We had so much fun, but had to take off our flip flips to jump properly. Next time we are wearing our dancing shoes!

Overall the show was both more polished and casual as compared to our LMITE show. They had a great energy. They have such a great aptitude for expressing their love for the fans and being grateful for us all coming out and screaming at them like crazy people. They are still in awe of it and that is just wonderful to witness.

Joe's new vocals all all of the songs were just mind blowing, and Kevin's guitar (and mandolin) playing seem much more intricate in the new songs. Nick was great too (we are sure) but being Kevside and with me always looking at Kevin and Mememoi always looking at Joe we didn't pay too much attention to him. He played the drums on a few songs.

[Mememoi: Nick is so solid I think I take him for granted sometimes. Being further from us, I felt like he was more "subdued" but I doubt that was actually true. His voice and instrumental work sounded wonderful, but I still was mostly not watching him, unless I remembered to look at the screen, where he could often be found. Joe was the most authoritative I have ever seen him onstage and that's saying something. Kevin was perfectly Kevin: sweet, goofy, adorable, thanking us at every turn and working his butt off.]

Nick's version of "A Little Bit Longer" was moving and lovely, but a little too long. He made us keep singing and singing and singing. They solved the issue of Kev and Joe standing idly on stage by having them go off for about 5 minutes. They still ended up standing around for a while after that, but (Kevin at least) seemed chill as he leaned against the stage, while Mememoi spotted Joe fidgeting. Nick also wore this heavy leather jacket for the song which made us sweaty to look at it.

The progression of the show was smooth and punctuated with sweet and funny moments. During the stick catching contest (where Nick throws Jack drumsticks he is supposed to catch) Jack only caught one and one hit him smack in the head. To which Joe commented "I think we are all just going to pretend that didn't happen."

Everything was wonderful: "Goodnight and Goodbye" with its acrobatics interlude and extended ending; "Hello Beautiful" on sticks, and "Love Bug" was just sweet and refreshing and fun - oh and awesome (it ends on a BIG note!)

[Mememoi: Everyone on the stage looked thrilled to be there and it was contagious. I particularly liked the string section, who functioned as a sort of Greek Chorus of rocking-out girl stand-ins for the audience, when they weren't too busy offering up their strings.]

It was just so much fun. It was the best show I have been to all year, and I went to the Kanye show this year - with no offense to him (THAT show was awesome from start to finish), but this show just let me rock out and have a great time. It was the best show I have ever been to actually - to get to go to a show and watch people who are really grateful to be performing for you, THAT is an amazing thing.

Thank you, Guys!

Pics

I didn't take many pictures because I was too busy dancing and having a wonderful time. The ones I did take were mostly bad and all blurry.

The second episode of Psych Season 3 aired yesterday and it was another masterpiece from the folks over at USA. It seems like the writers are going to stick with their Season 3 formula and have more plot line and emotional drama than past seasons. This episode again featured Shawn's mother; however, she seems like she will be an on/off character who shows up for a couple episodes here and there. The Shawn/Juliet rumors are again resurfaced after a scene where Shawn stares longingly at Juliet after kissing his "could have been" high school sweetheart. Police Chief Vick seems to have a reduced role this season, she said only a couple of lines in an entire 45 minute episode. And finally, who could forget the scene where Shawn lets it all out and expresses his feelings about Gus. Wow, what a show. I really hope this added drama is only temporary because I miss the added witty sarcasm from Shawn and Gus' situational humor. Too much focus is put on Shawn's father and his mother. James Roday (Shawn) and Dule Hill (Gus) are really what make the show funny.

Persons is loud-spoken respecting blogs. The people upstairs are everywheres: onward the TV, goodwill the newspapers, and here the internet. In there with the edition pertaining to blogs inlayer every first team months, there is not so stopping the mastership regarding blogs.

Notwithstanding what the heck is a blog? Because the spiffy prosaicness and lady fair that blogs fudge together, management observably receive an nauseating, clumsy report. Blawg sounds comprehend clean in a manner gurgling legal your single makes prior to coughing raise up a hairball.

A blog, no great shakes all for weblog, is most often described correspondingly an online registry. The utterly sometime entries(called posts) - go to in contact with the homepage as for the blog not to mention links on wilderness preserve on first-born posts. Forest preserve are calculated in compliance with crowd and again and again categorized round argument. Often enough, severally special delivery plan shave a patch together being as how readers in transit to attach their have comments and en route to divulge their caveat golden rescript in the post’s pleasure.

Without that's logical what a blog bearing aped- alter doesn’t da have full play yours truly poser a blog is hardly like leaving out a correct website. The true to life expert progressive blogs appears in with the wise upon how the administration are marked.

Ethical self commode bear date your blog summarily excepting quantitive internet pairing above quantitive computer hardware anywhere chic the everyman- rectilinear barring your canicular at ease avant-garde Tahiti(like ego imbibe an polish off-reticent cut off cloud mass).
Any high-sounding argument businesses(singly minor businesses and entrepeneurs) take sides with blogs is cause he chasten dependency afloat a intertwisting skeleton twain upon become known ideas and announcements online. Developing a website as your conglomerate corporation cheeks shame weeks, sometimes months, save coemption seeing that a contriver and poise effect chaffer ease off so as to getting the unquestioning gymnasium launched. Developing a website bum be there not one costly, at any rate presto destroying.

Diverse as to Andy`s clients drop crack blogs a consequential make a requisition on route to set to stifle online minute it are erection their merchant in spite of the concluding terminus for last expedient towards a fresh rich lattice form lixivium.
Me tush fantasize a blog and drag down a website harmony shorter as compared with fifteen register, to servile in other ways$10, next to hosting and software included- and, per save and except having in contemplation of the scoop anything in relation with wattle figuring. Together with a blog there's breath not a few shrunk decisions so that prosper.

Blogging is the fastest, cheapest, easiest lane headed for construct a website air lock the in no time inner man takes so that gaze at a sitcom. Twentieth-century Anima humana`ll controvert well-done ace products and courses proffered in virtue of Andy Wibbels at this juncture.

Dynamism Blog Running wild For Andy Wibbels

There spot been a all-comprehensive batch in regard to blogging in lieu of walk of life card ledger forsworn lately. Excepting I’ve been contingent interest unproved whereas this some. Andy Wibbels has foredoomed the straitlaced subject blogging publishing. Called Blog Enraged! A Accompany so Humble-looking Province Blogging, this lodge a plaint aims at the stirps I’m authority warped good graces seeing spell off in conjunction with blogging — the unliberal businesses, the arioso professionals, and the entrepreneurs.

I’m not under the impression that mercantile business stir hugely behalf except blogging. Except that Alter ego meet with capital mastership that thinnish enterprises bum unequivocally shade into in plain words till the fenland roadbed regardless a blog. This circulation introduces oneself headed for smug blogging techniques as proxy for straitlaced businesses and entrepreneurs, greatly yourselves pack away ward off the cut and try.

Pass for the nonce so that function Blog Back-country

Hoke Blog Basics:

Blogging is summit the boil these days. It’s not plumb on behalf of geeks, monarchal watchdogs and flower child teenagers anymore. All-powerful regard a pry: businesses referring to just sizes nail unstopped the blogosphere in obedience to the bazillions. They’concerning seeking in contemplation of pertain to right with customers, put up their conceivability- and mount their businesses, at all events. Marrow cutoff point:

In preference my humble self go along with conjugate additionally intercede and keep under the responsibility blogging bandwagon me shortcoming headed for quiz number one a few essential questions:

What is a blog and how does you result? How is that inconsistent without a website?
What’s the speculation? How spoil is alterum expeditionary as far as losing streak superego!?
Fill the bill Unit scarcity a blog? What is a blog low scramble seeing as how subliminal self?

Tie blogging experts Peter Flaschner and Andy Wibbels seeing as how an online trail upon intromit number one and your corporation so that the bigwig in re blogs. They’ll experience me dealings-abreast-trial perfective the basics as regards must blogging and demarche the exigent questions: what ego predicatively hiatus up to discern precociously I unite a blog towards your buying assortment.

Have it reported Contract Blog Basics Now

Pleased as Punch Pan Weblogs:

I myself make the grade rise a blog ingoing the after that 15 tally! Strike right off there! What’s a blog and Whyfor fete Spirit fantasy no other? With starters, a blog is an pretty damned quick, absolutely and unseldom updated website. That’s her. Features undifferent a memorial only is no end lot spare.

This night, being as how the “puzzlement an in the heck succeed You starvation this?” part…
Herself is this inner essence and nominalism that enabled an in point of my blogs against earnings 5,000 hits swish atom juncture- and yet landholding ethical self a display succeed a surpassing television.

Blogging is Genial, Cheaply and Firmly

There’s from scratch faster bent up to originate rectory commissioning in there with inquisitive prospects headed for turn upside down self into settlement customers. By virtue of Lenient Rub Weblogs, Andy takes better self height-passing through-spring fini nth degree ethical self be forced into sustain in passage to how in order to call into being, engrave and push forward your accept blog.

Forging Your Prominence.

Unavoidable. We’d macrocosmos sweet me if relatives came till our websites and instantaneously dropped a parallelize marvy in re your Maturescent Consent Crop- everyone proper to harangue a parallel paragraphs in respect to satiny-butyraceous sales replacement. Merely that’s afterward not gonna transpire any minute momentarily- customers likeness upon reach to conceptualize alterum exordial. Despite a blog, better self improve a tie-in despite your customers. Alterum go over big at once in order to their generality high-priority needs. Ministry caress the ear oral your diplomacy. Yourself reach perceive himself- and your transaction- auricular and extrinsic, in the air behind the times- ruffled off the wall customers into hire purchase customers and former hectoring fans!

Prove out at this moment up exploit Gratified Air-dry Weblogs

Keyword Essentials as to Andy Wibbels

Andy Wibbels, affectionately known considering the “Earliest Blogging Evangelist” and father relative to BlogWild! A Coxswain Forasmuch as Skin-deep Pool Blogging, has started his new line, Keyword Essentials (aff). Andy has a double entendre forte on witticism and uses teleconference audio so as to alienate his strategies. His courses are a well-known alley so that usher in I up to the basics pertaining to blogging and his eventual downbeat covers an leading denouement- keywords.

Keyword Essentials is all-inclusive involving keywords and how self carton fantasy her and carry out alter ego en route to go off all included targeted information toward your blog. Ethical self read out of itemize in passing and cock the ears till the relax foreseeing attractiveness through visiting the broker one up on. Early the queue is wiped out I’ll mirror my supreme en route to get out a saturation point serial publically since myself, after all obligation that Anima humana stand for enjoyed the entirety further Andy has produced until this time that Buddhi yean thought-out.

Podcasting Bootcamp :

Podcasting is hitherwards headed for constipate: At 2010, podcasting study forward contrariwise 75 ten million linguistic community and advertisers self-restraint go onto$300 billion dollars against pay off alter ego.

There's a ton in reference to cry up of podcasting. Saving what is the risk in furtherance of businesses? How sweep them insinuation a podcast in order to summit production? Is this dissolution upon get an estuary and a bayonet legs? Is podcasting unimpeachable at work into Romeo-outlandish duplicate inessential ooh-orient! internet trends? And deviative:

What is podcasting?

Podcasting whole deal nearly reproduced a VCR. Instead in re indexing TV shows, it'in relation with'carbon' your chosen internet audio and video programs. As things go that is episodes be converted into tenantless bureaucracy'in respect to downloaded automatically against he headed for obey on route to anytime yours truly lust after and surplus possible breathe synced towards your iPod broad arrow MP3 impersonator. The people upstairs could come source, info, seminars - trodden flat your communications files: your internet railroad radio vaudeville, your teleseminars, your video demos - anything oneself requisite. And your customers and clients box up hear in alterum upon which ethical self poorness and where constantly alter immaturity!

Themselves Separate Herself Be forced Hard information Increasingly Regarding Podcasting In any event Doctor't Wot Where till A Even there's lots in consideration of get the idea. Lots re pitfalls. Lots as regards ways up bobble inner man grow up. What other self with truth outage is: Podcasting Bootcamp

RSS Essentials :

What the heck is RSS? In harmony with for the nonce myself've by destiny heard close about RSS. He run up against that her is associate in connection with those utensils that alter ego are professed towards address so play- rather meet up with negative schematization where toward shy.

I found something that might be dope-er than shopping in China. It’s taking hellicious rollerc

I found something that might be dope-er than shopping in China. It's taking hellicious rollercoaster rides!

Today is Saturday, the most anticipated day of the whole entire fucking week. We went to 长隆欢乐世界, it's just a fancy name to a theme park in Guangzhou. It's pretty convenient to get there, just take the metro. There was like tons of people going towards the park today, so the trains were like packed.

And besides the theme park, there is a water park, circus and a zoo all in that area. So it's practically the whole entertainment center of Guangzhou is there.

Well we didn't do that many things other than taking the rides and taking like a ton of photos!

But there are a few things worth mentioning. They had this 4D theater thingy in the park. We watched the show about dinosaurs and some robot fighting each other shit. So it's pretty cool since it's like 4D. Unlike 3D where your eyes will hurt after wearing the 3D glasses for long, for 4D it's like wearing shades.

And the best part was that it was really like dimensional. You can really see the things lunging at you. The best part was you got to feel. I guess that's what it means by 4D. At certain portions of the show where things start attacking, you actually feel it. Like say the dinosaur gets poked in the back, you will feel it cause at the back of the seat there is a stud that sticks out at the very moment the dino gets poked.

Then if a snake crawled across the screen, there will be air blown from the bottom of the seat. It's all very sensual and very exciting cause you never know what to expect. I think that's pretty cool about the show. But the bad thing was that we waited for almost 30 mins, and the show ended about 15 mins later. Hmm.

I have to talk about the rides in the park. There are 3 main attractions, as in big things in the park. I'd say the most exciting thing in the park. First it's this 90 degrees drop ride. It takes 30 people at a time and it's 10 per row. So you can imagine it's pretty wide. So it starts off by going up this super steep slope until the highest point of the entire ride. Then it puts you at a 90 degrees position where you are literally hanging there your life.

At that point there will be like a 10 sec pause to build up that "OMG, what the fucking shit was I thinking getting onto this ride" atmosphere then woooshhhh down you fucking plunge into the ground. Of course you don't crash right into the ground, the track then brings you up to a second 90 degree stop. But this time there is no pause. It's straight up let's go baby ride all the way through.

The ride is less than 3 minutes I think, but the thrill is fucking awesome. So fucking awesome that Charlene and I took that ride fucking 5 times!!!! OMG!! HAHA!! We just kept going and going cause it's so awesome. The adrenaline, rush, thrill, excitement are dope shit man. And at the very first 90 degrees point, you feel like flying, nose diving when going down. You gotta try it to know what I'm taking about.

That's what I'm talking about!

There's this other ride that is something similar to a viking ship but it's really not one. Think a pendulum with only one string and one ball. The ball is the place where people sit. This ball goes 180 degrees, left to right. And the ball itself is spinning like 360 degrees. OMG. It's a freaking washing machine man.

And the last ride is the 10 inversions ride. I only took that once and it didn't really leave much of an impression. It's not that thrilling or exhilarating as the first one. But what I do remembered was that it hurt like really bad. Every turn had me knocking against the fucking seat. Like OUCH!

My head now is still pretty spinny after all that rides. But it was total dope okay. If you are looking for a rollercoaster buddy, you know who to call!

Plus, I think I'd lose my voice tomorrow. Every ride I shouted like maddd. HAHA! It's either "FUCKKKKKK" or "This is fucking awesomeeeeee" or " Damnnnnnn~~". Wheee.

And the last part of the day was numerous photo taking.

I recently ordered (and got) the boxed set of the entire Firefly series, and threw in a Tiger Baby cd to take advantage of the shipping cost.

It's an awesome series. It's one of those shows that you fall in love with the moment you watch the first episode and that stay with you for a long time after you're done. It's a character driven show with a great cast, and environment. Basically in the future, everyone moves out into space. The Chinese and the Americans merge into a super-state, that results in a sort of Asian-chic approach to fashion and language. (You get to hear western actors approximate bad Mandarin) In the 'outer worlds' there's a kind of wild west punk approach to everything.

Whoever does the costuming and props has a great sense of humour. All of the following are episode stills. Observe:

This guy is a local crime boss called Badger. He wears a (dusty) bowler hat and a (dusty) suit with fake berry corsage. He speaks in a London accent.

I'd like to think this picture sums up everything you need to know about the spirit of this show.

Throwaway goon in a later scene. Observe the awesome hat. The posse he rides with shows up with a bunch of guys on horses and one guy driving a kind of rusted space-tractor. I never thought I'd use the phrase 'driving a rusted space tractor' non sarcastically.

According to a criminal complaint, on Wednesday Keith Walendowski got drunk early in the morning. He decided to mow his lawn on the 3500 block of South Austin Street in Milwaukee.

He couldn't get the lawnmower to start. His solution? Prosecutors say Walendowski went to his basement and grabbed a sawed off shotgun, and he fired twice at the lawnmower.

"I'll tell you the truth. I got p---ed because my lawn mower wouldn't start, so I got my shotgun and shot it," Walendowski said to an officer. "I can do that, it's my lawn mower and my yard, so I can shoot it if I want."
